Boss Wang took a cautious glance at his young cousin. His eyes conveyed a suggestive message of something that urged the woman to say a word: ' Come on, Yen, speak something and convince this young girl to agree!'

This woman was not really a real employee of his company, not like Jing Jing. But after the fame of the Chronos squad, this boss understood the opportunity of he could control the teens. He would not also be the top press company in the district if he does not have any tricks on his sleeve. The man sly and his own method of tricking people to work for his profit to grow more.

As the woman also noticed the meaningful glance of his cousin, her eyes conveyed something that seemed to agree. She then cleared her throat and said,

"Ehem... young lady, I know that Miss Jing Jing may have been close to you. But it had just been a few days. It's even less than a week that you work together with her. Why don't you give me a chance to represent our company? Let me handle your endorsements, okay?"

The woman's tone was very sleek and convincing that even Sofia was also taken aback.

'I have a feeling that this boss and employee had their hidden agenda. But, what could it be?' Sofia thought as she gaze at the woman intently. She could not ignore her instinct

"Ms. Yen, the endorsement and sponsorship require a great connection in the business world. Sister Jing did not mention her connection to me yet because we haven't discussed this matter. But, since you are here, can you tell me about your connections?" Sofia asked the woman in a formal and solemn voice.

If she was really the best employee of the company, her connections would be far vast than Jing Jing. Somehow, Sofia did not also want to miss the chance of getting a variety of options for her group.

Boss Wang smiled widely upon hearing Sofia's question. Since the young lady began to have a curiosity about the qualifications of his cousin, he was confident that they could make her agree to their terms.

"As expected to a leader of a champion group. You really are knowledgeable about this craft! With the matter about my cous-- ehem, I mean, Miss Yen's connection, she is the on top! She can help your group as long as you will listen to her," boss Wang said enthusiastically that he almost slipped and call the woman her cousin. He also made an emphasis on his last sentence to condition the mind of Sofia.

It was a subtle way of telling Sofia that they had to listen to the woman. This would be effective if it would have been a different person that he was conversing with. Unfortunately for him, such a sentence pinned in Sofia's mind like hot water splashed in the skin.

Sofia's eyes turned dark.

'Listen to her? Could it be that this man cannot control sister Jing so he gave me a spawn that he could manipulate to gain control with my squad's activity?'

Sofia knitted her brows and slightly brushed her hair. Now, she finally realized the possible agenda of the two people in front of her.

"Mr. Wang, if I agree to replace sister Jing with Ms. Yen, I want to clarify in advance that the description of our partnership would not be an adviser or mentor. If she is willing to work with my squad, she has to facilitate all brands that we could link," she declared with a blank emotion on her face.

In her past life, she had relied on Jing Jing's recommendation for she was the secretary of her company and she was still young. But now, she already knew the things that they need to accomplish for them to be successful. How could she listen to a random person?

Boss Wang's face turned sour. He glanced at his cousin again.

The woman also conveyed a message to him just by their eye contact.

'This young girl is not easy to control, cousin! But, rest assured, they will be dancing in the palm of your hands,' the woman stated.

"Hehehe, of course, that is the arrangement. Ms. Yen will facilitate everything for you," Boss Wang confidently answered after he understood the assurance that his cousin gave him.

"Mr. Wang, you are so generous to even let your best employee work with my squad. Since that is the case, I cannot let this generosity pass. I agree to work with Ms. Yen, but the initial contract about our social media exposure and profit should still be handled with sister Jing. Is it possible?" Sofia finalized her decision. Now, it's up to the man if he would agree to give her two of his employees!

'What a greedy girl! She still wants to have Jing Jing to work for her group!' Boss Wang mentally exclaimed.

This request was not what he had anticipated. Initially, he was very optimistic about his plan of introducing his cousin to Sofia. But now, he felt as if he had just been robbed by the young lady!

"May I ask Miss Sofia the need to have Jing Jing? This might have some conflict of her work," the woman was the first to voice out her reaction. She could not also believe what Sofia had requested from them!

"I will tell you... Honestly, I did not know the company that sister Jing worked for when I decided to get her to work with my group. It does not really matter to me. I was interested in sister Jing's expertise. So, if she will stop working with us, might as well, that I will poach her?" Sofia boldly said.

Poach Jing Jing! How could this girl act like someone that had a terrifying background! Boss Wang almost squealed and laugh. Sofia did not even conceal her plan if the man won't agree to her terms but, the man did not think that she was capable of doing it.

"You want to steal my employee?" boss Wang stifled a laugh.

"It's just a backup plan. I won't have any problem with having Ms. Yen on our side for our endorsements and brand sponsorship. But, I will keep sister Jing too," Sofia stated.

"Little girl, you think too much of yourself. This is not how it works in this industry. Even if you are famous now, the fame will not last forever. You better learn not to be greedy and build a good friendship with me," boss Wang expressed with a hint of mockery in his voice.

"Mr. Wang, what is your decision?" Sofia casually said. She did not pay attention to the man's provocation. He could mock her in any way he want. His reaction won't change her plans.

Instead of taking the bait that the man placed for her, she urged him to come up with the decision for his company instead.

This time, boss Wang looked at Sofia intensely. The initial mockery in his heart was gone and he could sense a far more superior authority around the teen that was sitting formally in front of him.

Sofia's tone had also changed. She sounded considerate when they started discussing the change of employee to handle with her group. But now, Sofia sounded like her words were final.

Boss Wang exhaled loudly and scratched the back of his head. He then asked, "Do you really want these two employees?"

"I only want sister Jing, Mr. Wang. But if it is convenient and best to have Ms. Yen, I will be glad to have her too!" Sofia answered.

How could this demand be reasonable! Boss Wang felt very conflicted. When they handle famous people to work with them, they should be the ones who would call the shots. All arrangements would be made and approved by them.

But now, the table had turned around. Boss Wang had sensed that at that point, he was no longer the one who was in control. This realization made him inwardly cry.

"Okay, it seemed that we cannot convince you anymore... then, let's have this arrangement for now. I will send you the contract with a different representative from my company. And she will contact you for the shooting and other photo sessions once there is a brand to be promoted," Boss Wang said.

"Those lists of company brands that you have sent to me, I also sort some of them," Sofia said and handed the man a piece of paper.

"Okay, I'll tell the company and negotiate," Boss Wang nodded. His initial enthusiasm was suddenly lost. Now, he could only rely upon the skills of his cousin to talk some sense with Sofia once they work together.

"Great, let's adjourn this meeting. I will wait for the contract to be emailed as soon as possible," Sofia said, Then, she extended her hand to offer a handshake.

Boss Wang hesitated to take her hand. Somehow, he felt completely helpless. The young lady even took the initiative to end their meeting!

"Glad that we have reached this agreement!" Boss Wang finally forced a small and fake smile before they exchanged a handshake.
