"Hey! How's everyone here?" Brent casually asked as he stepped inside the booth of the Chronos squad.

The entire squad abruptly halted their discussion and was startled by his sudden appearance.

"We are fine," Clark subconsciously said in a faint voice. He had not even thought who the person entered before he made a response. And when he finally recognized Brent, his eyes went wide in surprise.

"Omg! You are the founder of the Lee Gaming squad!" Claire shrieked and looked alarmed. Fighting the man inside the battlefield does not bother her, however, seeing him in person was totally a different thing!

"Hello?" Joey looked up and muttered in confusion.

On the corner of the booth, Jing Jing and her companions quickly stood from their seats and offered a customary bow to Brent. They were also aware that apart from the man's distinguished reputation, he was their next opponent!

They instantly assumed that things may not be so simple as he actually took his time to visit the Chronos squad before their match could start!

Brent glanced at the corner upon noticing the three other people posing their gesture of respect towards his presence, Brent quickly raised his hand and stopped them. "I'm just visiting my senpai! There is no need for you to bow."

The atmosphere shifted and felt weird and puzzling after he announced the reason for his visit to them.

'Senpai?' the Chronos squad members frowned. They understood that this borrowed term is used for someone whom the person deeply idolized and looked as a mentor.

They shared a knowing look as the same question popped in their mind. 'How can this man speak so casually as if he was familiar with us? Who is he talking about?'

But when Sofia leaned back comfortably on her seat and raised her brow towards the man, they immediately connected her current interview and Brent's appearance to their booth.

The Chronos squad had just been caught by the thoughts of how they would be beating their opponents on the next match that they had almost forgotten what Sofia mentioned in her interview.

She did say that she knew the founder of the Lee Gaming squad!

Before anyone could speak, the two female teammates of Brent also arrived behind him. They were eager to see any confrontation. Then, another member came to their view, sprinting towards him.

'These Lee Gaming squad members are really rich! They looked like full of buffs!' Claire mentally noted after seeing the branded and golden accessories of the three females. She even compared their groups to a fully buffed character inside the game. She was not so keen on companies and jewelry, hence, she was not entirely aware of the special status that the two females had.

As for the two females, they easily cast a disgusted look at the Chronos squad and Sofia. They were confident that Brent would get angry by the statement in the interview.

However, the next interaction between these two founders made them baffled as to what really was going on with Brent's visit to the Chronos squad booth.

"Brent, it's been a while! Hehe... Congratulations on reaching the finals! Are you ready to be crushed by my squad?" Sofia playfully said while a slight smile curved on her lips.

"Ohh, I am fully prepared to destroy your base later! Don't even think of crushing my Lee Gaming squad. It's your Chronos squad who would be crushed!" Brent followed. He even placed his hands on the side of his waist to make his posture look dignified.

The remaining members of both their teams quietly observed the two. They did not dare speak any words as the tension started to get spicy... or so they thought.

"Hehehe, I appreciate the confidence. But victory will be ours. We will be the champions of this event," Sofia stifled a laugh.

"I can support my confidence! Senpai, your squad will go home crying!" Brent chuckled.

Both of them may have thrown threats against each other but the air around them was not hostile. They maintained a friendly vibe which confused both of their members.

'Is this how founders of squads talk when they finally meet? It sounded so weird!' a thought came crossed to Jing Jing. If she would have voiced these thoughts, the members of both founders would definitely relate to her.

"Crushing your squad is easy," Sofia continued. This time her aura was different from the sophisticated look. It was like a comical vibe as if she was just enjoying their interaction and did not really mean the words she said.

"Ahh, your squad does not have the ability to crushed mine. I suggest not to expect too much or else, you'll get disappointed!" Brent crossed his arms with a proud look on his face.

Opposite to him, Sofia also mirrored this kind of expression.

The two stared for a little while before they burst into waves of laughter.

"Pfft! What are you doing in our booth, Brent?" Sofia finally asked.

"Haha, I am just really checking your squad. Maybe, I'll see if I can take some hint of how you will going to perform later," Brent boldly answered.

"Young master Brent, you won't confront them?" one of the females asked Brent. They had expected confrontation but the two does not seem to have a conflict.

"What is there to confront?" Brent looked on his back and did not expect to see his three teammates standing behind him.

"But this CEO UNRIVALED said that she is your friend!? Young master, you won't confront her?" the other female reasoned.

"We are indeed friends. This was before I created the Lee Gaming squad. She taught me almost all the gaming skills I have now," Brent confirmed and made the three members look disappointed.

"Awe, that is correct. Don't feel dejected. I used to carry your founder on a lot of quests. But now, he becomes an excellent player," Sofia looked at the three other members of the Lee Gaming squad.

"That's right! The teacher meets the student! It is time to surpass the teacher!" Brent expressed without thinking too much out of what he said.

"Surpass me? You will need another several year to do that! Hehehe, So, you came here because you want to spy with our tactics?" Sofia questioned.

"That really sounds bad, but if you have pointers, I can also take it!" Brent laughed and rubbed his arms uncomfortably.

"Hehe, Now you are embarrassed! Tsk! I'll give you a hint then," Sofia responded. She laced her fingers together and looked at the man with a serious expression.

"Okay, senpai! I am all ears!" Brent raised his eyebrows several times.

"This is a top-secret pointer for all of your members. Cultivate patience and you'll win on the next coming tournament!" Sofia said.

Her words made all her teammates giggled. It expressed that they really would take the victory and that Brent could only hope for the next tournament to win.

"Aiiyahh, you should not underestimate my squad. If it goes well, my strategy is really effective," Brent reflected.

"You are good with strategy, but without the proper attitude, that would be very difficult," Sofia commented.

This time, two finally reached into a serious conversation. Each of their members could feel that their founders were being truthful.

On the side of the Lee Gaming Squad, Brent was very much familiar of how Sofia plays her game. He played with her in the past and he knew all her tactics. Hence, he was able to make his own strategy to counter Sofia's gameplay.

As for the Chronos squad, all members became worried. Sofia had indeed revealed their next tactic without any hesitation. All her plans can be summarized as targeting the Lee Gaming squad's patience.

"Alright, then I look forward to seeing you in the game! I must return to my assigned booth and speak with my members. I'll have to report what I have discovered from my spying here!" Brent joked.

"Yeah, see you later! Do your best and good luck!" Sofia simply said and waved goodbye to Brent and the three figures behind him.

"Wow, that CEO UNRIVALED is actually confident to defeat us? She will really be disappointed later!" the youth behind Brent expressed but their founder had already returned to his aloof bearing.

"I hope we can defeat them and make her proud, hehehe..." Brent walked more faster and left the three figures confused.

"What did the young master say?" all of them stopped their tracks and started to analyze the words that Brent just said.

"If I heard it correctly, he actually says that he wanted to make that CEO UNRIVALED proud? This, we must confirm it to him!" the youth responded and started to sprint towards their booth.

"Young master! Please tell me if I am wrong, did you participated this tournament just to make someone proud?" the youth quickly questioned as he sat back on his seat.

"Make someone proud? Huh?" Brent's sister furrowed her brows and looked at the two men.

"Well, I just heard it like that. But now, I am starting to doubt if I heard it correctly or not!" the youth had a troubled look on his eyes as he tried to explain the situation to Brent's sister.
