Ceo Unrivaled Chapter 67

Although Jing Jing was holding a plain tiny piece of paper that can also be considered as scratch, she treated it like a piece of gold.
No matter how she thought, the content on it was similar to that of a business card.
And in the industry that she lived in when a person handed a business card, it only meant one thing. The person was showing interest. The kind of interest to form a possible connection, alliance, negotiation, or business!
"Ehem!" Jing Jing cleared her throat while walking down the bleachers.
The idea of finally getting direct access to the Chronos squad was too overwhelming for her. She hastily strolled past the crowd until she reached the corner of the gym.
The phone beside her ear was ringing but Jing Jing could hear her heart beating loudly than the device. She took several breaths to calm down and waited for the other line to answer her call.
When the ring stopped and indicated that the other line answered the call, Jing Jing was too excited and did not wait for the other person to speak.
"It's me! It's me! The lady you've met earlier. Uhhm, the one you've handed a paper with your number!" Jing Jing hurriedly introduced.
"Yes, take a deep breath and talk slowly," Sofia responded after listening to Jing Jing's jumbled words.
Mannerisms are hard to break, and Sofia distinguished right away the lady on the other line was nervous. Her secretary in her previous life was just like this. Whenever the lady gets tensed, she would talk faster.
"Ughh... Sorry," Jing Jing smacked her forehead. She subconsciously inhaled and apologized.
"That's fine. I've noticed that you are working from the press company, so I took a shot of giving you my contact number. Perhaps, you might be interested in handling my squad?" Sofia discussed. It was the most possible reason she could think. Otherwise, how could she tell the lady that she was her secretary once?

"Oh my gosh! Yes! I'd love to! If you agree, I can take interviews with your squad!" Jing Jing almost jumped out of joy.
She really struck a stroke of great luck!
"Mmn, if you can send me a contract proposal as soon as possible, we can settle right away," Sofia stated.
Contract Proposal!
For a moment, Jing Jing remembered that the lady on the other line looked like a teenager. How could she impose this thing in such a professional manner?
"I will send you a proposal, ma'am! Just give me ten minutes," Jing Jing said. Her tone became more polite.
"Okay, take your time. No rush," Sofia replied before their quick phone call ended.
'Wow, teenagers nowadays are very knowledgeable! I thought that she would agree to an interview! I never expected that she would ask for a contract first!' she pondered deeply.
Jing Jing quickly hovered her way out of the gym and almost ran to her car. Despite Sofia telling her not to rush, she knew that it was just an expression of formality.
As soon as she opened the door of her car, she pulled some of her contract drafts. Jing Jing looked around but could not see her laptop!
"AHH!" she remembered that her laptop was in her place.
She glanced around the area and notice a small computer shop a few meters away from her.
She sprinted towards the establishment with the draft in her hand.
Soon after, Jing Jing placed her ID on the counter of the establishment and did not wait for the attendant to speak for her assigned computer. She deliberately sat in the empty chair and opened the computer on her own.
The attendant could only blankly watch at her swift movements.
After the lady was settled on her chair, he called to ask for the duration she intended to use the computer. "Miss, is it 30 minutes? Or is it an open hour?"

"No, just ten minutes!" Jing Jing replied while her fingers started to type on the keyboard.
"T-ten minutes?!" the attendant frowned. He was caught off guard by how short his customer would stay.
The usual customers in his shop would normally picked an open hour which meant they could stay for as long as they want with no time limit. The payment would only be counted after the customer got tired of using their unit.
"Miss, this is a gaming shop. We only accommodate customers that want to play here," the attendant told Jing Jing emphasizing the type of customers they had been catering to.
"Just charge me with the minimum," Jing Jing continued to type. Her face was looking at the drafts and she did not even glimpse at the keyboard nor the computer screen.
"This sister types so fast! Look!" one of the customers who noticed Jing Jing's typing speed quickly called her companion.
"Indeed! That's so amazing!" the other customer responded in amazement.
To them, Jing Jing was perhaps the person with fastest typing speed that they met. But for Jing Jing, such kind of typing speed was normal as she was working in the press company. She was so used to typing that she can still type even if her eyes were closed!
"Sister, the minimum is half an hour," the attendant spoke.
At the same time, Jing Jing was finished typing the contract document and she was also done sending the file to her email.
"Okay, how much is half an hour?" Jing Jing stood up from the chair and finally looked at the attendant.
"Err, are you done?" the attendant asked.
"Yes, please count how much should I pay," Jing Jing initiated.
"Sister, it's just less than 5 minutes that you used our unit. No need to pay," the attendant sighed and return her ID.
"Oh, then take this and keep the change," Jing Jing placed a paper bill on the counter and hastily left.
"Wow, the customer is so generous!" the attendant took the money in disbelief.
"It's the famous reporter we see in TV and online headlines," someone told the attendant.
"I don't watch TV," the attendant shrugged and returned to his computer.
On his monitor screen was the online betting site of the tournament. His hand maneuvered the mouse and clicked to place a bet on the Chronos squad.

I say, my smile faltering slightly, as I watch mom cuddle Heidi and give her lots of sweets as reward."C-can I have a sweetie too?" I ask.Mom laughs coldly. "Why should you? "You spend way too much time with your 'friends' never on your education, you ungrateful little brat. We should've got rid of you as soon as we found out you were on the way."
