"Ladies and gentlemen, our most anticipated round is about to start! In the next few minutes, we will witness the Chronos squad vs Vultramites squad fight in the regular 5 vs 5 map! Are you ready?" the host of the tournament returned to in front of the stage and everyone settled in on their seats. A piece of nice soft-rock music was playing in the background that added the hype ambiance of the entire place.

"Yes, we are ready!!!"

"YES!!! SUPER READY!"

"Bring it on! Woohoohhh!"

A round of applause followed after by the yells and cheers resounded on the bleacher's side as the audience clapped their hands gleefully.

Their excitement seemed to have no end!

After the lunch break, all the audience's energy was restored to a highest level. Their voices could even be heard by the people outside the gym!

The host took a moment to beam a smile and looked at the bleachers with amusement on his face. Some audiences were even dancing in their seats while others were waving balloons in their hands.

"That's great! Participants can now go to their respective lounge to prepare! I hope that our players have eaten plenty so that their stamina and mental strength won't get exhausted easily! Hehehe," the host joked and instructed the participants to get into the center of the gym.

"I bet this team would parry not only on their skills but also on their strategies!" the host added.

The two commentators also went back to their post and signaled the host that they are ready. The host slightly nodded at them before he shifted his gaze towards the booths of the players.

James was the first to get out of the Vultramites squad booth but his face was void with any enthusiasm. For some reason, he did not even spare a single smile nor looked at the audience side. His overall expression looked uneasy!

A deep frown was etched on his forehead and his lips had formed into a line. "Where the heck did they go?" he muttered while checking his phone.

"You okay, man?" one of his teammates asked him. His anxiety was too visible to be seen. But what is he anxious all about?

"Yes, I'm okay. Don't mind me, I was just having sudden thoughts," he reasoned and continued to walk towards the lounge.

"AHH, don't worry! You said that your brother is a newbie, right? There is no way he would resist your attacks later," his companion quickly consoled him while assuming that James was anxious of their match.

"Hmmn, let's be alert, even if my brother is a newbie, his companions are real monsters in this game! They have displayed their skills, it would be hard to counter them!" Clark emphasized.

"True, but their weakness is already exposed. It would be easy to aim your brother in the early game and end the match as quick as we can!" the companion smiled and reminded them of their plans.

As far as their plans goes, they would need to rely on the early game to be victorious!

At least, if they push and obtain victory before their opponent can build their items, then, they would surely win!

As they arrived at their lounge, the Vultramites players quickly logged in to their account on the device. They were all focused on the devices on their hand that only James was glancing at the booth of the Chronos squad from time to time.

The host on the stage suddenly furrowed his brows. Only the Vultramites squad players were visible in the area! He had not seen any members of the Chronos squad at all!

"The Chronos squad players are not yet in their booths?" the host announced in confusion when he maintained his gaze at the empty booth. There were still a few minutes left before the clock hits at exactly 1 PM but their opponents have gone to their lounge already.

"Ehem! Well, it looks like the players of the Vultramites squad are getting ready but their opponents are not yet in the vicinity. Hehe, anyway, we have time, before we start let me acknowledge our sponsors for today's tournament. Ehem! This tournament would not be successful without the help of our following sponsors... " the host quickly inserted and mentioned all the sponsors of the tournament while different brand logos were flashed on the large screen.

"They're not here yet... They should be here at this time," WINS was slightly worried while looking at the entrance hall of the gym. It had been ten minutes after they returned to the gym. In his calculation, Sofia and her companions should have been there also.

The voice of the host in the background mentioning the brands and company names had not yet ended.

WINS companions also looked troubled. Why did the Chronos squad had not yet arrived? Such question was shared by their thoughts.

"Boss WINS, do you think they were caught up in a traffic accident, no? I hope not!"

WINS face turned serious. He suddenly felt a pang of guilt burst on his chest. It was him who had contacted Sofia.

If something went wrong and they failed to show up, they would surely be disqualified! Tournaments would never wait for the participants to start a match. If they no one would show-up on the time of their match, it would be an auto defeat!

WINS hand started to get sweaty as panic began to envelop him.

He took his phone and quickly typed an email to be sent to Sofia. But before he could hit the send button, the Chronos squad appeared on the entrance door.

"Oh! Nice! They are here! Phew!" WINS chuckled and sighed in relief.

It was the same time as the host finished announcing the sponsors of the tournament as well.

"Oh! The Chronos squad is here! Please proceed to the respective lounge and prepare. The match will start at exactly 1 PM," the host breathed some air and looked relaxed.

"YEY!!! GO CHRONOS SQUAD!!!"

"ASSASSIN USER, YOU ARE MY IDOL!"

The audience erupted with their cheers once more while watching as Sofia and her team went straight to the center of the gym.

"Hehe, what an entrance! For a minute, I thought they would be disqualified!" one of the commentators told his companion.

"It would be a lucky day for the Vultramites squad! This Chronos squad players have solid potentials! But if they get disqualified, then, it is a free winning pass for their opponent in this round!" the other commentator smirked as he adjusted his sitting position to a more comfortable one.
