Ceo Unrivaled Chapter 46

The players of Shadow Slayer squad were fully prepared for the Heavenly Noob squad to attack, hence, they were fully startled by the sudden result of the match. They felt both confusion and delight when their screen suddenly showed the word "VICTORY".
"W-why... we won?" one of the members raised an eyebrow as his eyes were darted on his mobile phone.
Like their opponents, these players did not also expect to get a direct win. They have yet anticipated the Heavenly Noob Squad to arrive on their territory. Their characters had been waiting to clash. But what they received was not another battle. Instead, they got their goal in the match!
Victory!
The players clumsily placed the mobile phones on the table and peered at one another. Without waiting for another second, they stood from their seats and took a look at the large screen.
Although their devices have shown their victory status, they could not believe it.
"How did we win? Did the Heavenly Noob squad accidentally clicked the surrender?" the marksman user massaged his fingers and twisted them to relax as he asked his companions.
"I am not sure if they concede. I only say the victory! Let's take a look at the replay!" the mage user stretched his arms and watched the large screen in the middle of the stage.
Truly, these players were as oblivious as their opponents.
They were too focused on the incoming attack of their enemies that they have momentarily neglected to look at their map. Now, all they could only rely on was watching the replay of their game for them to see what had really happened!
"So, it was our creeps! WAHAHAHA" the fighter user of the Shadow Slayer squad burst a fit of laughter. His joyous expression quickly influenced the others. The boy pressed his hands on his stomach as he was extremely amused at how their match had turned out.

His companions followed and chuckled at what they have witnessed on the large screen as well. The creeps had really brought them the victory!
"GG to our creeps!!!" they mumbled together and their smile turned into a full side grin. The group shared a hi-five and jumped happily at the result of their match.
The players waved at the audience side before they left the lounge with pretty smiles on their faces.
Meanwhile, the participants of Heavenly Noob squad followed to exit the lounge behind the victorious players. They were silent and felt down. No words could make out of how much disappointed they were in their neglect.
"Winning the game is not only about one thing. Sure, the goal is to destroy the base. But, it comprises many things such as; attention, prediction, focus, teamwork, and coordination. There is also luck." Sofia shook her head and felt a little sympathetic to the Heavenly Noob Squad.
She had easily grasped the lapses of the squad and how they lose. They were extremely focusing on the goal of destroying the opponent's base. They have neglected their own defense and discarded their focus on the map.
As for the Shadow Slayer squad, they may have extreme luck on their side! They lost their focus but the result was still in favor to them!
"Congrats, Shadow Slayer Squad!!! Good Game!"
"Nice game!"
"Good Game Heavenly Noob Squad, you have done your best! Better luck next time!"
The audience quickly cheered the Shadow Slayer squad while the others consoled the Heavenly Noob Squad. Then, their attention shifted to another set of players entering the center area of the gymnasium.
Lee Gaming Squad vs Evil Gaming Squad
Brent was the last to walk towards the player's lounge. The man took his time and gestured a flying kiss to the audience and to the booth where Sofia's team was sitting.

"You're right, that man is really flirting with Sofia!" Clark chuckled in amusement while watching Brent's figure as he settled on his seat.
"Sof, that man may be interested in you? Maybe he sees you as more than friends in the game before?" Claire playfully whispered at her.
'Ahhh, teenagers,' Sofia sighed inwardly. She offered a gentle smile at Claire but she did not take her words seriously.
Stephen who overheard their conversation directly scowled. His face turned serious and glanced at Brent. No one could read what he was thinking but Joey managed to tap his shoulder to appease the unknown feeling that was starting to bubble on his chest.
Based on the clothes that the Lee Gaming Squad players were wearing, it was hard to deny that they were full of wealth. Rich kids. The second generation kind of wealth.
Their jackets were from a luxurious brand especially tailored for their squad. From head to foot, these players were wearing the scent of money.
Their pieces of jewelry were also noticeable. The gold necklace that all of them were wearing had an exquisite design that could only be seen on exclusive auctions.
These youngsters were just inclined on playing the game even though they have an extreme fortune that could back their living. It was not their first time to join a tournament in other places.
Some of their members had many experiences in the pro scene. Hence, most audiences wondered why they joined a measly district tournament.
To say, such a competition was somehow out of the Lee Gaming Squad league when it comes to gaining profit! The prize could be seen as just a loose change for them.
The audience as well as some organizers who have recognized the group were drawing some wild guesses.
But to the other pro players, they could not be bothered by the rich squad playing a district tournament.
In the game, it is not about rich or poor. This prize money was like a consolation to the pro players. What they value the most was the experience and the learning in every match they play.
It is about skills and game knowledge. It is about strategies, theories, and the application of their tactics for their squad to win. No matter what place or how much was the prize of the competition, they would always value the satisfying result of the match.
The feeling of ecstasy after winning. The trade of another learning if they were ever losing...
Only those who really played with the extreme dedication of the game could relate to the action of the Lee Gaming Squad. Even Sofia also understood these things.
Every squad may have its own motives in playing but at the end of the match, the feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment was of a different level. This always matters.
