Chapter 34: Tiger Regiment
Wang Shuo naturally wouldn’t let go of such an excellent opportunity to annihilate his enemy. Before the felt hat man could put out the remaining flames, Wang Shuo threw a Five Grains Pill into his mouth and relentlessly followed up to attack him fiercely.
Garuru’s fireball was not ordinary. Even if most of its power was reduced, it definitely wasn’t easy to deal with.
If the felt hat man still had his usual strength, this bit of damage would have been nothing.
Alas, he was now hanging on by a thread.
On the other hand, Wang Shuo had the Mystic Turtle Armor protecting his body and endless Five Grains Pills to replenish his stamina. He could disregard all consumption and attack without fear.
The pummelling from Wang Shuo, coupled with the merciless flames, left the felt hat man exhausted from his struggle.
Finally, after a series of violent clashes, the intense pain on his body left the felt hat man in a daze.
Totally focused, Wang Shou knew that his opportunity had come. He spun the Green Dragon Staff. With the staff, he traced the saber up the felt hat man’s arm and struck from beneath his armpit.
“Mountain Shaking!”
An immense force erupted, and half of the felt hat man’s ribs instantly broke. He couldn’t hold back his voice as a shriek pierced through the air.
The staff flashed and knocked the saber out of his hands. Then with a precise tap, Wang Shuo shot the saber straight at the man’s head.
[You killed Desolate Boss Marquis Lu Yu]

The next second, Wang Shuo returned to the wilderness.

“Aowu!” Garuru sprinted over and rubbed himself against Wang Shuo.
“Good job.”
Wang Shuo patted his head, took out two Five Grains Pills, and threw them over.
Before he could check his harvest, the roar of a vehicle echoed in the distance.
Following the sound, he found a large off-road vehicle about a hundred meters away from him.
Six well-equipped men were sitting in the vehicle, but their equipment was different, seemingly categorized by authority. They seemed to be heading in his direction.
Wang Shuo didn’t know who these people were, nor did he want to cause trouble, so he decided to avoid them.
But before he could move, a small explosion blew up the pile of vegetation in front of him.
Looking up, he saw a young man clad in a special combat uniform, pointing a large-caliber pistol at him.
This shot was obviously a warning. Wang Shuo narrowed his eyes, patted the growling Garuru beside him, and quietly activated the Desolate Tower Entry Ticket.
[Do you want to enter the Desolate Tower?”]
[Yes / No.]
Amid flying gravel, the off-road vehicle abruptly stopped beside Wang Shuo.
“Solo player?” asked the young man who shot at him earlier with his chin raised.
The others also looked at Wang Shuo with casual expressions. But the more nonchalant they were, the more Wang Shuo didn’t dare to underestimate them.
“What do you want?”
“Stop fooling around, Zhang Yu.”
A tall man wearing plate armor in the back seat stood up.
Under the helmet, Wang Shuo could vaguely see thick golden-black hair on his face. He didn’t look human.
“Boss, you’re undermining me again!” Zhang Yu shouted in dissatisfaction. He spun the pistol with his finger and tucked it back into the holster on his waist.
The tall man ignored him and looked at Wang Shuo. “I’m the regiment commander of Green Forest Town’s Tiger Regiment, Wang Yi. I want to invite you to join us. Are you interested?”

Wang Shuo was stunned. When he got closer, he could clearly feel that these people’s aura was domineering. Even if they didn’t do anything, they still emitted a faint pressure.
How could such a powerful team invite a stranger like him to join them?
“What if I refuse?”
Wang Yi laughed. “Don’t worry. We don’t have any ill intentions. I just have my eye on your strength. For a solo player to be able to raise your Physique to five stars and remain unscathed, you must be a talent.
“But you are about to reach six stars and will enter a high-level instance dungeon soon. You can’t possibly be planning to fight alone, right?”
“How do you know my Physique?”
Wang Yi pointed at the long-haired young man with sunglasses in the front passenger seat. “His glasses are middle yellow-tier ‘Surveillance Glasses’. It can detect combat power.”
Realization dawned on Wang Shuo. “Can’t a person enter a high-level dungeon alone?”
“Don’t you read the forum?” Zhang Yu sneered. “High-level instance dungeons are basically for teams. Unless you think you can fight against teams alone…
“Don’t blame me for not reminding you. The person standing in front of you is a holy tiger lancer, one of the only fourteen rare classes in the entire 1024th Space.
“Back then…”
“If you don’t speak, no one will think you’re mute!”
The sound of gnashing teeth came from under Wang Yi’s helmet.
Zhang Yu quickly toned down. “Alright, I won’t say anymore!”
But the people in the vehicle obviously knew the inside story, so they couldn’t help laughing softly.
Wang Yi turned around and roared, “What are you laughing at? Shut up!”
Although Wang Shuo didn’t know the exact details, he could roughly guess that this holy tiger lancer had most likely participated in a high-level dungeon alone and suffered a considerable loss.
After some joking around, the atmosphere became much more relaxed.
Wang Yi turned his head and coughed dryly. “Brother, how should I address you?”
Wang Shuo thought about it and didn’t hide anything. “Wang Shuo.”
“Oh? We’re from the same family.” Wang Yi smiled. “How about it? Do you want to join us? Don’t worry. We’re all together because we’re all like-minded, and we don’t have much drama.
“Normally, we won’t restrict you in any way. We’ll just go to dungeons together to kill bosses. You will keep your personal loot, and we’ll split the party loot according to contribution.”
Wang Shuo was a little hesitant. Although he felt that this person wasn’t bad, it didn’t change the fact that they had just met each other. It would be too hasty to join without careful consideration.
“Are you angry because I shot earlier?” Zhang Yu jumped out of the car and walked over with a smile. “Don’t be so petty. It was just a joke. I have perfection-level ‘Basic Shooting’, so I wouldn’t have hit you.”
“How about this? I’ll treat you to a drink and apologize after we return to the camp, deal?”
With so much said, coupled with the unfavorable situation, Wang Shuo could only take things one step at a time.
“Alright, deal.”
“Don’t worry. Although Zhang Yu is a big mouth, he’s trustworthy!”
Wang Yi put his arm around Wang Shuo’s shoulders and turned around to introduce the others. “Let me introduce them to you.
“The bearded man with the ax is Li Xiaowen. The fellow with the glasses is He Bing. The one who has been picking his nose is Jiao Shuai. The one with the sword is Ge Yanhui.”
When their names were called, each of them responded politely.
Wang Shuo returned their greetings.
“We’re all men, so let’s not stand on ceremony. Get in the car first.”
Zhang Yu chuckled and said, “You’re lucky. Yesterday, Boss bought a ‘Temple’s Blessing’ and received news that a boss would spawn near where we are.
“If we’re lucky, we can get an entry ticket and save ourselves half a month. ”

I was Born the Unloved Twin
You've probably heard this sort of story before. Once upon a time, blah blah blah a boy and a girl fell love and everything was beautiful and perfect, except for this thing called life getting in their way. He was this cool foreign prince and she was basically perfect. Really it's a very boring run of the mill story. I'll even spoil it for you, they kill the villainess at the end. Not the type of story I'd read personally. So where do I fit into this?Apparently I'm her older twin sister and the very very lucky fiance to the foreign prince. You know, the dead villainess? Sucks I know. Now I get to do it all over again from the beginning.Curse my life ------ So you're somewhat interested in what this thing is about and looking to see if it's even worth reading? Let's get the worst of it out of the way first: This is a boring story, very tedious, mundane and downright just boring. It's too slow, the characters are too confusing & make possibly retarded choices. It's an isekai/reborn type Slice of Life novel that plays on the villainess noble girl trope but the MC gets no OP cheats, no magical powers, not even some satisfying face slapping or such self-fulfillment fantasy. Wow, I'm doing a terrible job advertising this thing. If you're somehow still interested, if you were ever interested how an average modern person, reborn with all their host's memories, could live out their life in this situation, mending personal relationships one step at a time, or wondered what happened in between all the time skips in other novels, maybe give Unloved Twin a try. This is an awkward novel, the pacing is slow, and there is no time skips. For some reason still, I really love this little story I'm making. Talk to me on: https://discord.gg/ARkSMFPbew

The mentioned établissement is run by the formidable Barkeeper and jack of all trades Tora, who happens to have a very interesting past. Which involves more than one sinister secret...
