Chapter 501 Dormancy (1)
The black jade-like flesh-the black membrane on its skin surface—was magnified millions of times with Meng Chuan’s naked eye. The runes contained within were vast and uncountable. They were much more massive than the runes contained within the Bloodblade Disc. The parts that were similar to Infinite Saber were the core.
Meng Chuan looked at them excitedly. Ignoring those that he couldn’t understand, he stared at the parts similar to Infinite Saber and studied them.
Infinite Saber pursues paramount speed. Meng Chuan observed. I can vaguely understand a portion of these runes. If I’m not wrong, they should be the laws of paramount speed. The paramount speed law and another law perfectly form the core.
Meng Chuan could tell that these two laws were clearly separated! One was Yin, and the other was Yang. One was like the heavens, and the other was like the earth. Although the differences were obvious, they complemented each other and formed a core.
Countless runes appeared under the core laws’ dynamics. These countless runes were actually the mysterious black membrane on the black jade-like skin. If Meng Chuan could fully comprehend these runes, a membrane would also form on the surface of his skin.
My Infinite Saber is only at the Grotto-Heaven realm’s early stage. This paramount speed law is many times more profound than what I have comprehended. Meng Chuan remained very clear-headed even though he was slightly excited.
According to the records left behind by Ancestral Master Archean Eon, once a Supremacy-level paramount technique has reached the perfected Grotto-Heaven realm and broken through to the Heaven Earth realm, it would typically be stronger than a normal Imperial Lord-level ultimate technique. One would also have a small chance of creating Imperial Lord-level paramount techniques like Lightning Walk, Dark Lightning, and Lightning Fire Body Tempering. However, such techniques would still have flaws.
There’s only an extremely small chance of creating a true Imperial Lord-level paramount technique.
One could occasionally see Supremacy-level paramount techniques. However, Imperial Lord-level paramount techniques were legends! Even if one comprehended or created one, they would keep it a secret.
An Imperial Lord-level paramount technique reaches its limits at the perfected Heaven Earth realm. Meng Chuan understood these secrets. If one pursues speed only, one can eventually reach paramount speed completely.
What was paramount speed? It was to transform into true light!
When cultivating, one would discover that the closer one was to light speed, the harder it was to improve. Even time would begin to distort as one’s speed increased. When one reached light speed, a completely different world would come into view!
In fact, Tribulation Eminences usually cultivate in some prescribed order. They spend a long period of time accumulating insights. Once a person reaches the Sixth or Seventh Tribulation realm, they will have a sufficiently deep understanding of spacetime. Only then will one be able to reach paramount speed. Meng Chuan understood this. The higher one’s cultivation realm was, the more terrifying the means a Tribulation Eminence had available to them.

This Senior Dark Peacock reached the Seventh Tribulation realm. He also naturally grasped the paramount speed law and another set of corresponding laws at the Seventh Tribulation realm. Furthermore, he has the ‘laws’ that help combine the two other laws perfectly… The three laws are so powerful when working in concert.
Meng Chuan marveled as he examined the runes. It was just like how mortals knew that mountains were made of soil and rocks when they looked at them.
Meng Chuan barely knew that the membrane runes contained three different laws within. However, if he wanted to comprehend them? That was much harder than a mortal building a mountain.
Look at its muscles and blood. Meng Chuan carefully examined the piece of flesh. It was magnified by millions of times as Meng Chuan stared at it with his naked eye.
The dark-purple blood was magnified by millions of times in his vision. It now looked like a dark-purple jade that connected with each other. He couldn’t see any microstructures, nor could he see any burrs. All the magnified details of the dark-purple blood looked completely like smooth dark-purple jade.
What? Meng Chuan stared at the piece of flesh blankly.
Even Supremacies and Imperial Lords could see the microscopic structures in blood after magnifying it by millions of times. They even had a chance of seeing tiny sand-like particles. Now, not even mentioning particles, he could only see the dark-purple blood was perfectly whole. There were no runic patterns to be seen.
That’s strange. Meng Chuan was secretly puzzled. From the looks of it, I can only see more when my Essence Soul’s powers are infused into it.
With his current Essence Soul, he could use a microscopic vision mystic technique. With it, ordinary particles were as large as a Grand Yang Star. Furthermore, his Essence Soul thoughts were capable of entering an object’s interior and probe it. Meng Chuan even believed that he would be able to glean some secrets from a Dark Peacock that was a Physical Body Seventh Tribulation Eminence.
Unfortunately, despite all his reconnaissance techniques, this piece of flesh remained blank in his vision. He could only see the profundities contained within the piece of flesh with his naked eye.
After my strength increases, I’ll take a look at his muscles and blood, thought Meng Chuan to himself. The muscles currently also appeared like a perfect whole. He couldn’t see any microscopic structures after magnifying it by millions of times.
He could only see runes on the skin membrane.
This membrane is very similar to my Indestructible Divine Armor. It’s a naturally-formed membrane that covers the skin surface. It’s similar to a divine power, which is why I can see the runes with my naked eye.

“Brother Eastcalm.” Supremacy Qing Gu respectfully stood in front of Meng Chuan.
“Qing Gu, stay in the eastern courtyard first,” said Meng Chuan. “I plan on cultivating here for some time.”
“We’ll stay here forever?” asked Supremacy Qing Gu. He couldn’t help but look outside. Outside the cave abode was the endless outer realm.
Meng Chuan smiled and said, “In a few years, we’ll head to Black Dragon Planet.”
Supremacy Qing Gu’s eyes lit up in excitement as he nodded immediately. “I understand. I’ll take my leave then.”
Meng Chuan nodded slightly as he watched Supremacy Qing Gu leave.
Black Dragon Planet. Meng Chuan glanced at the endless void. I obtained Senior Pang Ming’s treasures. If I want to grow faster, I need to sell the treasures that are useless to me. Black Dragon Planet is Heaven Peak River System’s most important trading planet.
Heaven Peak River System’s strongest Tribulation Eminence cultivated in Black Dragon Planet. It was said that he moved 64 grand Yang Stars and 64 Grand Yin Stars to set up a defensive array formation around Black Dragon Planet! On Black Dragon Planet, killing was forbidden. It was the safest trading ground.
Black Dragon Planet is a trading planet. The Eternal Tower exists among the many buildings on the planet. Eternal Tower’s forces have already infiltrated Black Dragon Planet.
Meng Chuan knew of many secrets after reading his sect’s records.
Eternal Tower… was one of the top factions in the outer realm’s infinite spacetime! Back when Ancestral Master Archean Eon reached the Fifth Tribulation realm, he had been invited to join as a member. When he was at the Seventh Tribulation realm, Ancestral Master Archean Eon was a high-ranking member of Eternal Tower.
Of course, after Ancestral Master Archean Eon died, he naturally lost his position as one of Eternal Tower’s upper echelon members. This was how Eternal Tower’s members were replaced over the generations.
Although I don’t plan on trading the most precious items, I have to choose a safe place even when I’m only taking out a small portion of them. Black Dragon Planet’s Eternal Tower is the key to my transactions. Although Eternal Tower had a good reputation, he didn’t dare take out the Seventh Tribulation treasure for trading because it was never absolutely safe.
As long as the temptation was high enough, anything could happen. Since he was weak, he had to keep a low profile.
Meng Chuan came to the outer realm to cultivate. Now that he had gained some insights from the Seventh Tribulation Dark Peacock’s flesh and blood, he naturally immersed himself in his cultivation, unwilling to be disturbed.
Thus, many days passed.
The paramount laws produce the Origins of Paramount. The Origins of Paramount also repels all external entities? Meng Chuan was somewhat confused as he studied his new knowledge. Although he was still confused, he vaguely understood why his original dantian power source-Source of the Seamless Realm —had collapsed and turned into a chaos hole.
From the looks of it, one has to comprehend a paramount technique if they want to reach the Godfiend cultivation system’s Chaos Hole realm. The Chaos Hole realm clearly isn’t universal for those in Archean Eon Realm. In fact, it’s very normal that nobody else in Archean Eon Realm has reached the Chaos Hole realm. After all, the threshold for reaching the Chaos Hole realm is naturally very high since one gains a 5,000-year lifespan at the Supremacy realm. One’s domain is also nearly comparable to an Imperial Lord’s Heaven Earth domain.
It’s no wonder the Chaos Hole domain repels all external powers. In terms of defense, my divine power, Indestructible Divine Armor, is no longer as strong as the Chaos Hole domain. Because of this, I can give up on this divine power. I’ll use my Infinite Saber’s laws as the core of my new technique. This new defensive technique will be similar to the Seventh Tribulation Dark Peacock’s skin membrane.
“I failed,” muttered Meng Chuan with a frown as the robe over his body dissipated.
Clang!
Meng Chuan’s right hand shattered into nothingness before rapidly regenerating. From the looks of it, it isn’t suitable to use the Cosmos Body cultivation system’s methods without Cosmos Crystals. Even without using my physical strength, it is already much easier to control it after fusing my Chaos Hole Quintessential Essence and Chaos Hole domain.
Meng Chuan’s 15th version of the Body-Protecting Peacock Robe.
The Bloodblade moved at a speed of 75,000 kilometers a second and struck the Body-Protecting Peacock Robe. Meng Chuan glanced at the Bloodblade—which had transformed into a light beam as it flew at high speeds—and the Blood Peacock Robe, which had spread out hundreds of feet around him. The robe spread out in all directions as the Bloodblade struck it.
Boom!
A huge hole appeared in his Body-Protecting Peacock Robe.
Meng Chuan shook his head and continued pondering
Years passed. In the blink of an eye, five years had passed since Meng Chuan became the cave abode’s owner.

With a career worth millions in the esports world, she didn't have time for a game like Avo—but when an exclusive beta test for the new version showed up on her doorstep, she couldn't say no… as much as she wanted to. Literally hooked into the simulation, Lily reluctantly entered a world beyond anything she'd ever dreamed of. Accompanied by seven other beta testers desperate to save their beloved game, Lily dives into a vibrant, beautiful world, where mystery and adventure waits around every corner. Despite her reservations, Lily finds a joyful escape in Avo, shattering her cold, hollow reality. It was just a game though… until the group discovered they couldn't log out. Trapped in a game with no rules, and surrounded by cutthroat players eager to kill for a quick windfall, Lily and her ragged band have no choice but to fight their way out, or die in a game that has turned all too real. Hi there! I'm setting off on yet another adventure, come join me :3 Unusually for me, there's only one perspective this time, and it's quite a bit more action-oriented than I usually write. Don't worry, though: everything's still as character-driven as always, and I never get tired of writing dialogue. Just to acknowledge it up front: this story is heavily inspired by EVE Online and the many stories generated by that world. However, since this is a fantasy setting, not sci-fi, don't expect any real parallels. Chapter publish rate for this one will be whenever I write them, as with Epilogue. I don't expect to move as fast here though, since it's not for NaNo. The plan is chapters somewhere in the 4k-5k range, and hopefully frequently. The Last Science takes priority as always though. Special thanks to Reaver and Ace Arriande for pushing me to get this going, and to all my fellow writers whom I've stolen from been inspired by. You're all wonderful people and I love you Quick reminder: Patrons get to read ahead of what's published! Also, try my other works: The Last Science — A Tale of Modern Magic Epilogue — A Post-Fantasy Psychodrama What are you still doing on the synopsis? Get to reading!
