Sword Among Us Chapter 133: Yan Mountain Tiger
The sound of intense fighting was faint, and it drew farther and farther away. The Vast Ocean Sword Sect's member who had the brocade box in his hands felt as if there was an incredible weight pressing down against him. He constantly felt as if there were countless soldiers behind him! He gritted his teeth, and with all his strength, he moved about the forest nonstop. He ran like the wind and charged forth like a phantom.
He looked very young and handsome, and his eyes were also pure and clear. There was a faint hint of resolution on his face, and as he ran, he did not stop mumbling under his breath, "Eldest senior brother, don't worry. No matter what, I will definitely bring the brocade box to a safe place."
But in his haste, he had clearly forgotten to look at something important—the map.
He forgot to look at the map.
Even though he was not wrong in running forward continuously to leave the pursuers behind him, he was in a complicated forest where light could not shine through. Without the guidance of a map, it was very easy for him to get deceived by his own eyes. He went off course without even knowing it.
When he noticed it, the sound of sleeves fluttering already reached his ears. The sound came from northeast of him. There was also a shout that sounded rather like mocking. The face of the Vast Ocean Sword Sect's member changed, and he came to a swift halt.
"Haha! Interesting, hahs! This noob didn't even look at the map, and he even ran until he arrived in front of us. Hahahaha!"
Eight people walked out of the forest right before the slightly alarmed of the young man. They giggled as they blocked his path.
"Haha, your face is even red."
"Boy, put down the box, and we'll show you mercy."
The mocking laughter continuously seeped into the Vast Ocean Sword Sect's member's ears, causing his face to turn even redder! He was ashamed and furious. He turned his head around and saw around ten pursuers behind him as well. They formed an encirclement with the people who blocked his path ahead, making it impossible for him to change his direction and break free.
He gritted his teeth!
Shing!
He drew his longsword, and without a single word, he rushed toward the eight people in front of him.
They laughed and split up in a completely unbothered manner.
But the scene that happened next caused their expressions to change completely.

Whoosh!
A sword glare the color of dusk appeared. It was sharp and like a flash of lightning that split the night sky in half. Its momentum was shocking!
It was only then that the eight people noticed that the sword glare that erupted from the Vast Ocean Sword Sect's member's hands and the momentum was not at all weaker than of eldest senior brother! They were astonished, and all of them retreated!
But by that time, the two players in front cried out in surprise because they were too slow. Their throats were slit with a single swift and fierce slash.
The attack speed and lethality of a high-tier martial art was far above that of a low-tier martial art. The people surrounding the youth clearly did not have any high-tier martial arts, which was why when they attacked, the young man from the Vast Ocean Sword Sect immediately gained the momentum. He achieved success the moment he attacked, and he used it to break free of the encirclement made by the six remaining people.
Whoosh!
The people behind them drew close at that moment. When they saw that the random sect member from Vast Ocean Sword Sect was actually pretty strong, one of them quickly extended his hand to bring out two black hidden weapons and flung them out without hesitation.
The shrill sound of air being sliced was incredibly clear in the ears of Blessed Realm players. By the looks of it, that person's realm with hidden weapons was not very high.
Thud! Thud!
The hidden weapons stabbed a tree near the member of Vast Ocean Sword Sect. He did not stop and just continued running forward.
"Stop dilly-dallying! Attack him together! When Heaven Descendants Sect and Vast Ocean Sword Sect's people come over after their fight, no one will be able to gain anything at that time!" someone from the group of people who chased after the brocade box suggested loudly.
But before he could finish speaking, two people from the group stopped moving at the same time. They drew their bows and nocked their arrows simultaneously. Their actions were done unnaturally smoothly, decisively, and swiftly!
Swish! Swish!
The arrows shot forth quietly, and they were extremely fast!
Even though the member of Vast Ocean Sword Sect avoided the assault from the two hidden weapons, he did not manage to avoid the two arrows. When he noticed them, they shot through his back at the same time. Their powerful force not only completely drained most of his HP and strength, they also flung him over thirty feet forward. He crashed heavily on the ground.

However, even at that moment, the young man from Vast Ocean Sword Sect just gritted his teeth. He hugged the brocade box tightly and refused to let go.
"Let go!"
When the six players pounced on him and saw this, they flew into a rage. One of them brought his weapon down and very decisively sliced at his elbow. As he howled in pain, the attacker snatched the brocade box that had rolled down to the ground.
One of the people by the side seemed to be a companion of the person who got the box. When he saw that the Vast Ocean Sword Sect member glaring at him, a savage look appeared on his face!
"If we don't get rid of potential problems, we will be plagued by endless trouble."
He drew his longsword, thrust it forward, and decisively pulled it out from the Vast Ocean Sword Sect's member's neck, which was gushing blood.
Once he died, the remaining twenty or so people instantly shifted their gazes to the player who had just seized the brocade box. Their eyes burned with greed and envy.
A few players even tightened their grips on their weapons subconsciously. They took a few steps forward, and the desire as well as hostility in their eyes was very clear!
However, the six people in front seemed to be together. They gathered up and watched the ten or so Blessed Realm players slowly close in on them. Not only did they not show a single hint of alarm or nervousness on their faces, their expressions were quite cold.
"There's only one brocade box. Are you sure you want it?"
"No matter what, it won't belong to you!"
"Put down the brocade box and leave!"
A few players spoke with the same idea while standing in front of the group. They immediately formed an alliance under the oppressive pressure formed by the six people across from them.
"Oh?" One of the six people suddenly raised his head to reveal a strong and cold face. "I, Yan Mountain Tiger, would like to see who among you will be able to snatch this box from my hands today. ATTACK!"
He shouted the last word abruptly, and nine of the players across from him seemed to have obtained some sort of order. They exchanged gazes at the same time and fixed their eyes on the players nearest to them. They directed their weapons at those people!
"Ah!"
"You're with them—"
"Despicable!"
"Who are you?!"
The situation was incredibly chaotic for a period of time.
Even the expressions of Yan Mountain Tiger and his group changed drastically. The situation in which they got rid of all their enemies without a hitch did not appear!
At the instant he gave the order, some people acted in the exact same way as his people who had lain in ambush in the group. They had also attacked the people beside them, and did it even faster than his brothers!
Several astonishing sword glares shot out from one person's sword. Five out of the nine of Seventeen Swordsmen of Yan Mountains who had lain in ambush were instantly killed. Even though the remaining four killed four other players who were caught off guard, they soon perished under the fierce and swift sword glare…
In an instant, only six people, including Yan Mountain Tiger, remained out of the Seventeen Swordsmen of Yan Mountains!
All of this happened extremely quickly. In a flash, only four people remained out of the seventeen people in the other group. Two of them had their backs against each other while they stared at the other two with grins on their faces.
"So, we're not the only ones who like to play the oriole preying on the mantis. Fellows of the same mind, how should we address you?"
They had a relaxed tone and did not seem to regard Yan Mountain Tiger and his crew as people worthy of their attention, even though they still had an advantage in numbers. Their gazes were fixed anxiously on a man in purple robes, who was to their left and looked very composed and relaxed. Their eyes sparkled nonstop.
The other two people did not pay too much attention to the two who had their backs against each other. Instead, they stared at each other with solemn looks.
The purple-robed man only had his eyes on the blue-robed young man across from him.
"Give me the brocade box. We can negotiate the price."
In truth, while he looked calm, the astonishment in his heart was surging wildly.
Just now, the purple-robed man had been the one who had released the astounding sword glare.
Seven out of the nine people from Yan Mountain Tiger had died in his hands.
He had originally wanted to kill all the people in a single blow, including the two brothers, but against his expectations, his sword style, in which he had been incredibly confident, had been casually parried by the blue-robed young man in front of him. And the rebound that came from his saber had also made him suffer quite a bit. There was no way he would not be apprehensive of this.
He was powerful. He was certainly powerful!
From that moment, he knew that this person would be his only real enemy in seizing the brocade box.
