From The Strongest Job of Dragon Knight, To The Beginner Job Carrier, Somehow, The Heroes are Depending on Me Volume 1 Chapter 26

The next morning, Berzelia and I woke up early and went out to the city, but—
「I already sensed it when I woke up but isn’t the city kind of noisy?」
「You are right. It feels a bit restless.」
The atmosphere of the city was different from usual.
Or rather, more armed people were around.
「Could it be that a work opportunity for some conflict appeared?」
「Probably so. When we were fighting with Demon Lord it was like that in the towns in the vicinity of battlefields.」
If so, perhaps the sparks of war appeared in this town as well, I thought, heading to Sagittarius.
And when I, as usual, opened the door to the guild house—
「Oh, Uncle Dort?」
At the table in the middle of the room was Dort.
When I called him, he waved his hand and greeted me.
「Ooh, long time no see, Axel-kun. And you came at truly excellent timing.」
「What do you mean by excellent timing?」
The one to answer my question was Marion, who sat directly opposite Kaufmann.
「I just received a request from Kaufmann-san. A pretty difficult one, which I thought might be suitable to serve as your final training in the transportation trade.」
Words final training made me puzzled once again.
「Final training… You mean that I went through most of the cases for the transportation job?」
「Yes, later, I wanted you to do a request of the highest difficulty level and it just came in. With this, I think you will have experience with all of the basic tasks for a transportation job. 」
「…Even half a month hasn’t passed since I introduced you here and you already have covered most of the trade, you truly work at a phenomenal pace, Axel-kun.」

Dort said such a thing with cold sweat on his forehead, but that’s to be expected since I was fully focused on getting a hang of a carrier’s job as soon as possible.
「But, I finished a high difficulty request just a while ago, should I be taking even more difficult requests? The highest difficulty, makes it sound pretty incredible. Well, I’m really happy about being able to get experience with all kinds of requests in such a short period of time.」
If it’s work that requires some kind of fine and precise skill from a carrier then I’m not sure that I will be able to complete it. As I thought that, Marion’s expression turned to a bright smile.
「It’s okay. Generally, the difficulty level for the transportation request depends on how dangerous the destination is, in other words, how much of combat prowess is required. Considering Axel-san’s combat ability, there shouldn’t be any problems. Besides… This top difficulty request was thoughtfully planned by Kaufmann-san, so it will be pretty easy to carry out.」
Having said that, Marion brings my attention to the request form placed on the table. There was written『As combat support, accompany the elite unit of combatants heading to subjugate the giant magical beasts that appeared at the primordial forest. 』
「A giant magical beast appeared… So that’s the reason for that subtle tension in the city.」
「Yes. Well, it is something that the City of Stars has already dealt with many times. I’ve already gathered the elite unit, now they only have to head out, but just in case, I decided to add someone capable to provide battle assistance. Thus, this request.」
Certainly, it wasn’t unusual to get a support for a party battle. And using a person with transportation job as a support wasn’t anything unusual as well.
「So, this is the last case in which I need to get experience as a transporter?」
「That it so. Well, all you will have to do are mostly providing potions and weapons during the battle, though going along with the movements of the conventional combat jobs might be difficult with a transportation job, but this time we are truly blessed with a support.」

While talking, Marion pointed at the request form.
There were listed occupations of the current subjugation squad.
「Every member of the squad has an advanced combat job?」
「Yes, on top of that, they are doing combat jobs since the days when we were at war with the Demon Lord, a distinguished elite, they have records of easily dispatching solitary giant magical beasts. Basically, they will carry out the subjugation while firmly protecting those in the support role. So you don’t have to get worked up about it so much. Yet, a certain amount of physical strength and endurance will be required from a transporter… I thought that for Axel-kun it shouldn’t pose a problem.」
Marion nods at Dort’s words.
「Since the location is the primordial forest, the submitted difficulty and danger level are pretty high. But because the members are the elite, it is a very easy job for its difficulty. Moreover, since Axel-san also has some combat ability it’s really good as the first request of that kind, that’s what we were discussing with Kaufmann-san since this morning.」
I see. In other words, I will be able to experience a request with the highest level of difficulty under quite favorable conditions.
「Well, it’s only relatively safe, so it will be a problem if you don’t pay attention. But it should be somewhat easier than a common request of the highest difficulty… Well, Axel-san? Will you accept this request?」
Closing my eyes I ponder on Marion’s question.
Although being able to take it easy on the highest difficulty request sounds weird, conditions were exceptional.
If such a request exists, then it’s great luck.
…That’s right. I came to Sagittarius to learn what kind of cases are the work of a carrier.
I came here to pile up experience in order to easily travel while completing requests as a carrier,
Leaning the job under favorable conditions, what else is there to ask for.
Being able to go through a difficult case under favorable conditions is an opportunity that rarely comes by. It would be a waste to refuse. So I reached the conclusion.
「…Yes. That’s right. Certainly, please let me have this request.」
Marion and Dort looked happy with my decision.
「Yes, understood. Kaufmann-san, you are fine with this?」
「Of course! Thank you for accepting my request, Axel-kun. 」
Saying that Dort stood up and reached out with his hand to me.
I firmly grasp that hand, affirming the contract with a handshake.
「Same here, thank you for your consideration for me. Being able to get such training opportunities, I’m really glad that you, Uncle Dort, introduced me to guild Sagittarius.」
When I expressed my gratitude, Marion and Dort showed surprised expressions for a moment and then lightly smiled.
「Fufu, I’m happy to hear that I was of help to you.」
「Umu, now I can think that I slightly repaid my debt to you… Then, Axel-kun, Berzelia-kun, are you ready to depart?」
To Dort’s question, Berzelia and I look at each other and exchange nods.
「Yeah, no problem. I can leave anytime.」
「I’m good as well.」
「Good, good. Then, let’s go. The team and the baggage are gathered at the north gate, the closest one to the primordial forest. After a light introduction, please head to the primordial forest.」
「Yes, got it.」
And so we left the store of Sagittarius together with Dort. Then, Marion called out to me.
「Well, take care, Axel-san. This is your graduation as a beginner carrier, the final training, —So do your best.」
「Yes, I’ve got a good opportunity. I will go and get experience to become a competent carrier.」
I replied to her words of support waving a hand and started the highest difficulty request with a somewhat lax, but moderately sufficient tension.

8 134The Shattered Circle
Aleyr Frostborn has survived a hundred prophecies of her defeat, breaking each one by slaying the champions of light sent to kill her. Amongst the forces of good, her very name is a curse, and with good reason. Beyond her own evil, it is said that so long as she lives, the reign of the Godslayer himself will last: the lich king who the terrified masses call the King in Black. While the kingdoms and empires that surround the blighted lands of the undead lands struggle to survive and beat back the tide of evil, the machinations of the Eternal Kingdom's dark court barely contain the bitter struggles for power between the forces that have made it what it is. With one foretold hero brutally snuffed out, another will inevitably arise. For Aleyr, the cycle only further embitters her towards the gods of good and all those who serve them. But the truth is that her downfall might be something much closer to home than their prophecies, those last dregs of mortality beating inside her own chest. With a thoughtless intersection between cruelty and mercy, she begins a chain of events that threatens to tear the Eternal Kingdom and her own loyalties into shreds. After all, many things can be broken, not just prophecies.
