After blurting out these words, Shen Manting immediately covered up her face out of embarrassment .

Her eyes started darting around furtively, as though she was ensuring that no one around them heard her .

Shen Luo’an found this extremely adorable and he could not help but laugh .

He then imitated her and started glancing around too before placing a finger on his lips .

Shen Manting quickly understood what he meant and cupped her hands over her mouth, blinking innocently .

“Most of the people here are single . They’ll seek revenge on me if they catch you behaving like this,” Shen Luo’an whispered .

Shen Manting was shocked . She continued to cover her mouth, no longer daring to utter another word to him .

“Why are the people here so brutal?” she wondered .

“To think that they will actually exact revenge,” she thought .

Her huge eyes seethed with fiery anger as these thoughts ran through her mind .

Shen Luo’an chuckled when he saw this .

However, he immediately looked back down and resumed his work .

Shen Luo’an did not want to keep Shen Manting waiting for long . After Lao Wu and Jin Yang returned from lunch, he immediately threw the work back to them .

Despite their protests and objections, he replied stoically and firmly, “My wife’s here . I need to keep her company . I’ll come back tomorrow . ”

After he said this, he hugged his wife and they both left ostentatiously with many people in the laboratory staring after them in envy .

Shen Manting could feel their eyes boring a hole into her back and she clung onto Shen Luo’an’s arm timidly .

However, deep in her heart, she felt a sense of thrill to be able to do this to others, she knew how it felt to have the upper hand now .

She was smiling to herself as they walked and after they stepped out of the door, she dived straight into Shen Luo’an’s arms and yelled out, “Dear!”

“Yes?” he said .

Shen Luo’an grazed her cheeks gently with his palms and watched her tenderly . “What’s up?” he asked .

With her hands clutching onto the fabric of his shirt to keep her balance, Shen Manting stood on her tippy toes and swooped in for a kiss .

Her kiss was not smooth, in fact, it was clumsy but it still tugged on his heartstrings .

Shen Luo’an immediately wrapped his arms around her waist and deftly cupped the back of her head before he deepened the kiss .

His kiss was fervent and overbearing . Shen Manting’s breaths immediately turned short and hasty and her entire body tensed up .

She felt a sense of thrill that she had never experienced before .

“My, oh my!” someone exclaimed mockingly .

Shen Luo’an instantly released Shen Manting and turned around to take a look .

A group of accountants were walking out of the laboratory and were looking at the two of them teasingly as they said, “Hi Boss, hi Madam . We’re just passing by . Please continue . ”

“Continue?” Shen Manting thought, bewildered .

Her face was already burning red with embarrassment, she then grabbed Shen Luo’an’s shirt and buried herself into his chest .

She only dared to peel her face away from his chest after it seemed like the accountants have left and were far away .

She then looked at Shen Luo’an and mumbled, “Are we heading home now?”

“Do you want to head back home?” he queried, answering her question with his own .

Shen Manting felt like returning home to watch a movie and to hang out with their son .

But when she noticed the deep, passionate look in his eyes, she could not bring herself to say it .

Her face burned even more and she meekly replied, “Well, let’s not head home just yet . ”

“What should we do then?” Shen Luo’an asked as he quietly watched her . “Let’s… check into a room?” he suggested .

“Check… Check into a room?” Shen Manting thought .

She instantly felt her body burn up .

She was still aching down there from the previous night of passionate indulgence .

When she heard what he said, she immediately pushed him away and said reproachfully, “I’m not talking to you!”

She quickly stomped away from him, taking wide strides .

Shen Luo’an smiled, grabbed hold of her and said, “I’m joking . Let’s catch a movie . ”

“Catch a movie? In the cinema?” she asked, excitement evident in her voice .

“Yes,” he replied .

“Great!” exclaimed Shen Manting rather excitedly . “I’ve never watched a movie in a cinema before!” she rambled .

“Let’s go . I’ll take you there,” he said .

“Dear, is this considered a date then?” she asked .
