“Ye Qianqian?” Shen Zhilie called out when he didn’t hear her reply .

Ye Qianqian was sitting on the floor . Her body was drenched from head to toe .

Her ankle was throbbing with pain . It felt as if any movement would be enough to snap it into two .

Ye Qianqian slowly inched her way over to the toilet and lowered the cover onto the seat before using it as a crutch to stand up .

Shen Zhilie could hear the commotion insider and yelled out again, “Ye Qianqian, what are you doing inside?”

When Ye Qianqian heard Shen Zhilie’s voice, her aggrieved emotions came pouring forth again . She yelled back in reply, “I already told you that my ankle hurts! What are you making a ruckus about?”

Shen Zhilie didn’t have a reply for that . After a moment’s thought, he reached out to press the door handle .

Ye Qianqian heard it . Her eyes immediately widened in panic . “What are you doing?” she protested . “Are you trying to sneak a peek?”

“What the hell? There’s nothing to see on that flat body of yours! I’m worried that you might die in there!”

Shen Zhilie rattled the door handle forcefully and realized that it had been locked from the inside .

Ye Qianqian heard him and furiously replied, “You’re the one who’s about to die!”

“Hey, I’m about to open the door, alright? It’s so dark, so I won’t be able to see anything anyway . Besides… I’m not interested in you at all . ”

“F*ck you!” Ye Qianqian was incensed . She held on to the toilet with all the strength she could muster and heaved herself up .

Shen Zhilie had kicked the door open by then .

The loud and explosive sound caught her completely by surprise .

With that, he crouched down beside her .

“Hey… Don’t look over!” Ye Qianqian reached her hand out to look for his eyes . “I’ll gouge your eyes out otherwise!”

Shen Zhilie could see pretty well in the dark . The moment he crouched down, his body blocked the only ray of light that weakly streamed in . He couldn’t see anything any longer .

Upon hearing her threat, Shen Zhilie burst out laughing and said, “I won’t look! But given how flat your chest is, seeing it won’t have any effect on me either!”

As he spoke, Ye Qianqian reached her dripping wet hands out to cover Shen Zhilie’s eyes .

Shen Zhilie groped about in the dark, making a move to carry her .

As he stretched his hand out, his fingernail came in contact with soft and warm flesh .
