Chapter 769: 769
Chapter 769: Chapter 769 – War God’s Help
“What’s wrong?” Little Sovereign asked with a shadow of smile. And when he noticed Zhou Xuanji’s frown, his smile grew bigger.
The reason Zhou Xuanji stopped and didn’t attack was because he sensed an unusual aura.
He sensed it for a moment before it disappeared. It was almost like, if he made a move, that mysterious existence would immediately rush out.
It must be someone in four comprehensions Origin Fusion Realm or stronger!
Zhou Xuanji had run into a three comprehensions Origin Fusion Divine Lord. However, he hadn’t given him that horrifying feeling.
He slowly sat down and piloted the Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage to move on.
As soon as he lifted the Suppressing the Universe, all those creatures, who couldn’t catch him, broke into cold sweat.
The Suppressing the Universe had scared the hell out of them.
If Zhou Xuanji attacked, they would have surely been annihilated.
“Why didn’t he attack?”
“I don’t know. Let’s forget it…”
“Exterminating Divine Eyes… Too outrageous…”
“Whoever wants to chase him can go and do that, I give up!”
“This is too difficult. The Exterminating Divine Eyes deserves to be one of the five Ultimate Divine Eyes!”
Everyone marveled again and again. All they could do was watch the Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage fly away.
Zhou Xuanji’s uneasiness had also disappeared.
Little Sovereign also noticed it. He sighed, “You are about to capsize. The opponent is likely to be a Range Master-level expert.”
Zhou Xuanji couldn’t help but frown upon hearing this.
A Range Master has already started to target me so soon!
More importantly, he should be Range Master of a middle-grade Divine Range, only someone that strong could remain invisible from me
BOOM!
The Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage stopped abruptly. Zhou Xuanji stared ahead as a figure appeared before him. He was blocking the Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage. In fact, he almost caused the Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage to flip.
Zhou Xuanji’s expression changed. His eyes were filled with fear.
Origin Court War God!
Impressively, the opposite party was Origin Court War God!
Compared to sacred and domineering Origin Court War God of the Kunlun Origin Court, this Origin Court War God donned black armor and had a hideous look on his face. Three black spears were floating behind him, just like an Evil God.

Zhou Xuanji stood up, picked up the Lesser Supreme Sword, and walked out of the carriage, parting the curtain.
He stood on the foot rest and asked, looking at the Origin Court War God, “What can I do for you?”
This Origin Court War God gave him an evil feeling no matter where he looked.
“You are killing everyone in sight, and you are asking me what I want? Tell me where you came from, otherwise I will immediately kill you,” Origin Court War God countered with a hideous smile on his face. The three black spears on his back rose into the air, pointing straight at Zhou Xuanji.
Zhou Xuanji calmly replied, “What my origins are, can’t you tell?”
There was a fundamental difference between the creatures of Kunlun Origin Court and Anti-Kunlun.
Besides, creatures of Kunlun Origin Court would often come to Anti-Kunlun. He didn’t believe in the Origin Court War God couldn’t guess his identity!
It seems that this guy is plotting something.
“How did you come? Is there a way to take me to your plane?” Origin Court War God asked threateningly, squinting his eyes.
Another plane had existed in Anti-Kunlun since ancient times. For Anti-Kunlun, the Kunlun Origin Court was also regarded as an illusory thing.
Which of the two planes was the real one, no one could tell. However, all creatures in them regarded the other as false.
“I was sent in by someone. He sent me in forcefully, otherwise he would have killed me,” Zhou Xuanji answered truthfully. Origin Court War God frowned upon hearing this.
He asked back, “Why did that person send you here?”
“So that I could return alive.”
“It’s that simple?”
“Otherwise, why would I keep killing? I just wanted to adapt to your plane and find my way back. Or do you think it’s possible for me to annihilate all of you with my strength? Do you think it’s possible?”
“…”
Seeing Zhou Xuanji acting like a hoodlum, Origin Court War God fell into silence.
Zhou Xuanji continued, “Where I come from, you are my son’s master, are you sure you want to kill me?”

As soon as he said this, Origin Court War God’s face immediately fell. He felt that Zhou Xuanji was playing with him.
Zhou Xuanji continued without giving him a chance to speak. Told him everything he knew about Origin Court War God.
When Zhou Xuanji mentioned Beast Sovereign, Origin Court War God finally relaxed.
In Anti-Kunlun, Origin Court War God and Beast Sovereign still had the best relationship.
He was no longer just and awe-inspiring but had a sinister aura around him.
Whereas Beast Sovereign was no longer domineering and prestigious but an obsequious man.
“In that case, take me with you. We will depend on each other. I can help you kill your enemies,” Order Court War God stated. His eyes filled expectations.
Zhou Xuanji furrowed his brow and asked, “Why do you want to leave Anti-Kunlun?”
Origin Court War God immediately rebuked, glaring at him, “You are Anti-Kunlun! I have offended the Sovereign. The Sovereign is trying to punish me for my sins. Once I am caught by him, he can justly eradicate me. I am not his opponent.”
Zhou Xuanji was overjoyed.
He pretended to hesitate before speaking further, “If you want to leave Anti-Kunlun and escape from the Sovereign, you will have to wait until I have cultivated a unique divine ability.”
Little Sovereign had once mentioned that the natives of the Anti-Kunlun couldn’t learn the divine ability of the Anti-Kunlun.
Origin Court War God ruminated and said, “Okay, I will wait for you. When will you learn it?”
When he thought of Sovereign, his eyes flickered with killing intent.
Zhou Xuanji was extremely happy when he noticed this.
The Origin Court War God of Kunlun Origin Court was loyal to the Sovereign to the fault. But in the Anti-Kunlun, he was his enemy.
No matter how good the relationship between a ruler and his ministers was, it couldn’t triumph over brotherhood.
“I need to kill the creatures in this plane and get their Inverse Chaos Qi, which is equivalent to your luck. Otherwise, I won’t be able to pass through the boundary of this world,” replied Zhou Xuanji with an honest gaze. Origin Court War God couldn’t detect any lie at all.
Origin Court War God nodded and said, “Okay, I will help you kill!”
Zhou Xuanji was completely surprised. A pie had fallen straight from the sky and into his hand.
However, he quickly calmed himself down.
The Origin Court War God before him wasn’t the same Origin Court War God of the Kunlun Origin Court. Who knew whether he would keep his word or not.
Origin Court War God disappeared from his place, stunning Zhou Xuanji.
Lesser Supreme Sword slightly trembled as Little Sovereign’s voice rang in his ears, “Be careful. This guy is very strong. He can kill you as easily as lifting his hand.”
Zhou Xuanji was well aware of this. But he couldn’t escape, facing Origin Court War God.
After a while…
Origin Court War God had returned. And with a wave of his hand, countless creatures appeared out of thin air. All of them were frozen; they couldn’t move even an inch. And each and every one’s face was covered in fear.
Zhou Xuanji scanned them with his divine will. By his rough count, there were a million of them.
He was scared. How did this guy capture so many people?
Origin Court War God looked at him and signalled with his eyes.
Zhou Xuanji sighed in his heart. He had no choice.
He immediately used the Extreme Nightmare Abyss to make them fall into dreams and then cast Ultimate Chaos Dao, reducing them to ashes.
Immediately, surging Inverse Chaos Qi poured into his body, causing his blood and energy to seethe.
Origin Court War God smiled with satisfaction. He could tell that Zhou Xuanji hadn’t lied to him. He could clearly feel Zhou Xuanji’s cultivation improving.
As long as I can escape…
Origin Court War God’s eyes became fiery hot. He had pinned all his hope on Zhou Xuanji.

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
