Chapter 764: 764
Chapter 764: Chapter 764 – Special opportunity
Zhou Xuanji felt as if the entire world was spinning as he fell into a colorful vortex. Even someone as strong as him couldn’t help but feel dizzy after having been spun countless times.
He felt as if all his internal organs were on the verge of pouring out. He felt extremely nauseated.
BAM!
Zhou Xuanji crashed on the ground. At impact, almost all of his bones were crushed to pieces.
He didn’t immediately stand up and instead laid on the ground, resting.
After a long time…
The dizziness finally disappeared. He opened his eyes and found that he was lying in a dark and dim world that was filled with black Qi.
This wasn’t spiritual Qi but something similar to the bad luck qi. It was extremely evil. Even someone as strong as Zhou Xuanji felt a surge of killing intent rising in his heart. He immediately suppressed this feeling.
He didn’t immediately act but took out the Lesser Supreme Sword instead, summoning Little Sovereign.
Soon, Little Sovereign manifested.
The next moment, Little Sovereign angrily grumbled, “Why did you call me? I just fell asleep! Kid…”
He abruptly shut his mouth before he finished his sentence.
He looked around with bulging eyes in shock and cursed, “Damn Kid, how did you come to Anti-Kunlun!?”
His tone was filled with horror.
He wasn’t terrified for himself but for Zhou Xuanji.
This Kid is so dead!
“I was planning to ask you about Anti-Kunlun myself!” Zhou Xuanji calmly asked. He had been feeling restless after coming to the Kunlun Court but he didn’t panic.
It was better to arrive here safely than to be killed by Nanmu Tianyi.
“Anti-Kunlun is just opposite of the Kunlun Origin Court. Here, you will meet all the beings of the Kunlun Origin Court but their personalities are completely opposite. You will also meet your own opposite. As long as anyone from the Kunlun Origin Court is here and is found out, he or she would be chased to the end of the world.”
“And the most terrifying thing is to reach the top of the Origin Court. Do you know what that entails?”

Little Sovereign stated in a horrified tone. At the end, he even deliberately tried to scare Zhou Xuanji.
Zhou Xuanji impatiently asked, “Can’t you stop making people keep guess?”
Little Sovereign answered with a sigh, “The top of the Origin Court is the place where the Sovereign lives. That is why the people who can break out from here can become sovereign. Because they have experienced the power of Sovereign and obtained the consent of the Sovereign.”
Zhou Xuanji furrowed his brow. He now fully understood how difficult the task truly was.
This wasn’t an opportunity for him, he was simply sent here to die.
However, looking back in hindsight, it could be said that Nanmu Tianyi had given him a chance to survive.
And if Zhou Xuanji really broke through and became supreme, he would still owe him a favor.
I have to admit, this move is really perfect. No wonder the Tianyi Divine Range had survived for so long.
Zhou Xuanji took a deep breath and took out the Holy Light Redemption Sword as he began to heal himself.
Little Sovereign looked around and cried, clicking his tongue in surprise, “You are lucky. You are on a lower plane. If you had fallen in some Sovereign Divine Range, that would have been really fun.”
Lower planes meant the mortal world.
Zhou Xuanji asked, “Can you help me?”
Little Sovereign shook his head and asked, “Help!? How can I help you? I can at most point you in the right direction.”
Zhou Xuanji nodded and didn’t say anything more.
He didn’t immediately put away the Lesser Supreme Sword but asked Little Sovereign to keep a look out on his surroundings.
After three hours…
Zhou Xuanji got up, took out the Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage and sat inside.
Since the Anti-Kunlun and Kunlun Origin Court were essentially the same, then riding this kind of artifact might make many creatures to have some scruples, making things less troublesome for him.
After all, such a magnificent and powerful carriage-type artifact was something figures of extraordinary origin could have.
Inside the carriage, Little Sovereign exclaimed, “Damn Kid, you really are smart. In the past, I too had relied on this method to be safe for a long time. But in the end, I still had to rely on strength.”

In the past!?
Zhou Xuanji looked at him in surprise. So this guy also had come out of Anti-Kunlun victorious.
Little Sovereign immediately started smiling triumphantly, seeing Zhou Xuanji’s expression.
“Did you know that the most dangerous enemy in Anti-Kunlun are the people you care about? Their dispositions are completely opposite of what you know. They will become your enemies. Think, can you treat them as your enemies and kill them?” warned Little Sovereign. He couldn’t help but sigh when he mentioned this.
In the past, he was very troubled by this. He still had nightmares about it.
Zhou Xuanji nodded his agreement. He had also thought about this.
However in his opinion, the family he had in Anti-Kunlun wasn’t his family.
His family was one and unique.
Everything in Anti-Kunlun had nothing to do with him!
The Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage flew into the sky, breaking through the space-time barrier and headed toward Anti-Kunlun Origin Court.
Zhou Xuanji saw many creatures along the way.
These creatures looked no different from those in Kunlun Origin Court. But their entire body was dim as if they were surrounded by dim glow.
The Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage didn’t stop. All the creatures along the way would glance at it but no one dared to approach.
Zhou Xuanji noticed that these creatures didn’t like to communicate and were filled with grievances with each other.
“This is Anti-Kunlun. The Kunlun Origin Court mainly revolves around peace and order, while the Anti-Kunlun is about death and chaos. Naturally, they will not chat with each other willingly,” explained Little Sovereign. Zhou Xuanji sunk into hus thoughts after hearing this.
He wondered whether the existence of Anti-Kunlun was real or imaginary.
If it was real, why were there two Origin Courts with identical creatures?
After a period of time…
The Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage finally flew into the black sea at the edge of the Origin Court.
But right then, a voice rang, “Hold it! Who are you? Report yourself.”
This voice was very weak and filled with caution.
Zhou Xuanji spread his divine will and found that it was Void Boundary God.
Void Boundary God was trembling in the front. He appeared very timid.
A strange look appeared on Zhou Xuanji’s face. He suddenly wanted to laugh.
Zhou Xuanji didn’t bother to pay attention to him and drove the Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage forward.
Unable to stop it, Void Boundary God was left with no choice but to dodge.
Watching the Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage fly into the distance, Void Boundary God sighed and murmured to himself, “Everyone bullies me, insults me… If you force me again, I will…”
“It’s unfair!” Void Boundary God felt extremely wronged. Since he became the Void Boundary God, he had lost all his prestige.
This Void Boundary was obviously something illusionary. But asking him to stay here and guard it was no different than torturing him.
On another side…
After entering the Anti-Kunlun Origin Court, Zhou Xuanji didn’t go straight to the Evil Sky Divine Range but flew upward.
The Tri-Phoenix Qilin Carriage didn’t fly too fast because Zhou Xuanji was still thinking about his countermeasures.
He was carefully thinking about how he could reach the top of the Origin Court.
He couldn’t help but ask Little Sovereign, “Is there really no special opportunity in the Anti-Kunlun?”
A danger zone like this should have a miraculous opportunity for people’s old selves to be reborn.
“That’s what I thought when I first came in,” Little Sovereign said with a sigh.
Zhou Xuanji furrowed his brow after hearing this.
How long will it take me to break out of Anti-Kunlun by just cultivating using the World Internalization?
If there is no benefit for breaking out Anti-Kunlun, then what’s the point?
After a pause, Little Sovereign started smiling and said, “However, I later found that there was something!”
Hearing this, Zhou Xuanji wanted to punch someone.
How could he be so good in teasing someone?

Discord Community: https://discord.gg/3tHKHAx7Ye The Vitaean Chronicles are a debut LitRPG High Fantasy series written with the intent of filling a niche I've yet to see filled anywhere else. This is my first novel of this kind, so please be patient with me. Throughout this story, I will endeavour to create an evolving and expansive narrative anchored around believable characters, compelling plotlines, and a consistent and sensible magic system. The purpose of this work is to create what I believe to be a relatively unique piece of fiction, drawing inspiration from many great stories that have come before from the likes of Tolkien, Jordan, Hertbert, Goodkind, Pratchett, Martin, and several others. My goal is not to create a masterpiece, but simply to create a story that someone can read and re-read with the same joy, same frustration, and same investment each time. This story will contain violence, politics, Shakespearian drama, tongue-in-cheek references, adult content, and well-crafted relationships of both platonic and romantic natures. I will not promise you will like every choice I make. I can only guarantee that I will do my best to create a story I, and you, can be proud of. As I progress, I will have room to incorporate fan-made characters for those interested in making their mark within the tapestry of this tale (with the customary disclaimer that they do so while waiving any rights to future profit, lol). Thank you to Royal Road for giving me the platform to do that, and thank you dear readers past, present, and future for choosing to come on this journey with me. Finally, just to cover myself: This work is Copyrighted to the Author herein known as 'Hannibal Forge', and recreation, distribution, or re-release of any material herein in a commercial or public capacity absent permission from the Author can and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the Law.

Alive?
In the ruins of a once glorious city, a mage awakens. As the sole survivor(?) of the cataclysm that destroyed his entire species, he’s forced to adapt. While learning the intricacies of his new body, he must first carve out a place for himself in a familiar yet foreign world before he can set out to reclaim his heritage. I cannot stress this enough: the character is not human, do not expect him to react like one. I know the hand on the cover only has five finger, but I doubt I am going to find a royalty free radiography with two perfectly functional thumbs placed in a sensible way anytime soon. The rewrite is finished. Beta readers are welcomed and I am still wondering whether I should put the sci-fi tag or not.

Technically Abroad
This is the story about Victor who is Technically Abroad and how he is adjusting to this one simple fact. Going to college is a hard time for a lot of people. You just became an adult in society’s eyes, but people still treat you like a kid. A year ago you might have had to ask for permission to use the bathroom, but now you can vote, legally buy most things and work, marry, etc. Even if some people still treat you like a kid. So in the simplest non-spoilery terms, this story is about Victor finding himself in a world that isn’t his, with a lot of rules that weren’t given to him upon arrival. Instead, he has to take the cards he was dealt and do the best that he can, even though he never asked to be part of this game that turned into his life. He has to just hope he can live up to his name. This story will be one that can be found in its entirety here, but thanks to multiple people asking the story to be put here it will be, albeit with a delay compared to the main site. Discord is here if you wish to join the community in a more direct fashion. I'd love to talk with more people who read the story. Also if you wish to aid in the series getting noticed please visit here and give it a boost. Every vote is greatly appreciated.
