Chapter 631: Chapter 631 – Mysterious Energy Underground
Zhou Xuanji looked down and looked towards Xu Shu as he smiled and said, “Don’t worry, I’m fine . Let’s go home . ”
After saying this, he extricated himself from her grip without her realizing it and walked forwards .
Xu Shu frowned and hesitated for a moment before hurrying up to him .
“Son, that’s the wrong way!”
“Oh…”
The mother and son talked while walking down the street .
On the way, Zhou Xuanji continuously thought about this world .
Just then, he sensed the sun’s aura .
Within it hid a massive bird with decent cultivation .
Was it the golden crow of the legends?
Some ancient legends recorded that the sun was actually a three-footed golden crow; that bird also happened to have three feet .
Moreover, it had Heavenly Law True God cultivation!
Of course, for Zhou Xuanji, this kind of bird was not something he needed to be afraid of .
Just like that, he got on a bus with Xu Shu, returning to his rental apartment .
His parents lived in another city, and after hearing that he had been hospitalized, Xu Shu had hurried over, and his father was still on the way .
“I’ll give your dad a call and tell him not to come so we don’t hold him up with his work,” Xu Shu said as she took out her phone .
Zhou Xuanji looked at the surrounding streets, and he felt a feeling of nostalgia but with a difference .
After thinking about his previous life, he was like most ordinary people . It was a completely normal life and there was not much worth reminiscing about .
He did not remember much about the suburb he had lived in .
The only regret he had about his previous life was that he had not been able to be a filial son to his parents .

Xu Shu led him back to his apartment . It had one bedroom, one living room and one bathroom, and the kitchen was connected to the living room .
Xu Shu had Zhou Xuanji wait for a while, and she went to go buy some food .
Zhou Xuanji wandered around in the room and went to the bedroom .
Looking at the somewhat messy bedroom, he could not help but shake his head and smile .
The previous him had been somewhat sloppy and there were clothes everywhere, and the things on the table were also somewhat messy .
He sat in front of his laptop and began to think about what to do .
With how powerful destiny was, he had to become stronger as quickly as possible .
If destiny attacked him again, what would he do?
Moreover, he wanted to investigate why he had appeared here .
He was afraid that this was an illusion-type divine ability that surpassed anything he could imagine .
He opened his laptop and began to take a look on the web .
After opening the laptop, he sent his divine sense into the internet .
As expected, the internet was something that could be swept with his divine sense; it gave the feeling of an energy technique scroll .
Massive amounts of information flowed into his mind .
Right now, earth was in a period of having massive amounts of data on the internet, but for an Overlord Saint, this amount was not much .
Soon, Zhou Xuanji absorbed all of the information on the internet .
He got rid of some personal and dark things and slowly opened his eyes .
“Looks like the me of my previous life knew far too little,” Zhou Xuanji said in amazement; he had seen many things .
Most of them were things that surpassed what ordinary people could imagine .
Aliens really existed!
The ancient legends were also true!
For example, the western god Zeus had descended to earth before and had left behind palaces, which sank into the sea .
In the east, Sun Wukong had once been an ordinary monkey, but he had been changed by a mysterious energy underground, becoming an amazing divine monkey .
Yang Jian’s third eye was also created by a similar energy .
Most importantly, he found out about a plan—the Humanity Reversion Plan!

The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
