Chapter 575: Messed Around Too Much
“Hiss!”
As the golden longsword cut into the Quasi-Boss giant Sea Serpent’s head, it hissed angrily. One could only imagine the pain it was feeling.
Angry hisses came from its throat. The Quasi-Boss giant Sea Serpent swung its head backward, slamming it into the ship cabin behind it as it attempted to turn the player that landed on its head into minced meat.
“Whoosh!”
The Light Armor Warrior fully clad in silver alloy armor had predicted the reaction of the giant Sea Serpent.
The moment the giant Sea Serpent’s head began to move, the Light Armor Warrior had let go of the suspected Legendary Grade golden alloy sword before jumping off its head directly.
“Bam!”
“-4543!”
The giant Sea Serpent raised its head and smashed it violently towards the metallic wall of the ship’s cabin. Although the cabin wall became dented from the collision, it did not hit the Light Armor Warrior. On the contrary, the move only pushed the remaining half of the golden alloy sword further into it’s head.
This forced another over 4,000 Fatal Damage number pop up above its head.
Adding both the damage numbers together, the total damage inflicted neared 10,000. The Light Armor Warrior’s damage output on the Quasi-Boss Grade giant python had instantly surpassed everyone else as he quickly topped the damage ranking list.
Inside the command room, the player acting as the commander was looking at the screen of the device computing and collecting data of the battle. The screen also showed the ID of the Light Armor Warrior fully clad in stylish and magnificent silver armor – Sword Ki Long River.
The trump card of the Nine-Star Guild, also known as the number one player in the popularity ranking list of Storm City.
Sword Ki Long River’s appearance became the prelude to the military ship players’ counterattack against the Quasi-Boss grade Overlord Sea Serpent.
“Boom, boom!”
“-1023, -1344…”
“Ta, ta, ta…”
“-345, -325, -433…”
In an instant, all sorts of bullets and energy attacks flew towards the Quasi-Boss giant Sea Serpent.
Although the area of effect skills became unusable due to the space constraints on the ship’s deck, all of the players present would at least have one or two ultimate single attack skills in their possession.
As such, the Quasi-Boss monster that had over a million HP was quickly losing its HP.
…
“Thank you!” At the back end of the ship’s deck, the Heavy Armor Warrior who almost slammed into and pushed Feng Luo and White Crescent off the ship into the ocean thanked White Crescent awkwardly after she helped heal and recover his HP in an instant. He walked a few steps forward, picked up his alloy shield that fell on the deck and charged toward the giant Sea Serpent.

Five meters away from the giant Sea Serpent, with the help of the momentum he gained from Charge, the Heavy Armor Warrior leaped into the air.
As he descended, he pushed his body against his alloy shield as he slammed his shield against the moving tail of the giant Sea Serpent.
The Level 15 Godly skill of Heavy Armor Warriors – Shield Bash, that borrowed the strength of the entire body, which maximized the attack effects when the hit landed.
“Bam!”
A loud bang was heard as serpent blood splashed into the air before falling on the deck.
While the giant Sea Serpent had a large body, it was impossible for the defense at the pointy end of its tail to be as high as its midsection. The Heavy Armor Warrior’s full-strength bash instantly turned the pointy end of the tail into minced meat.
“-3834!”
At the same time, a Weak Point damage nearing 4,000 also popped up as a Heavy Armor Warrior, whose player’s defense was more than average; his attack was quite strong. To be able to net a Weak Point damage of almost 4,000 on a Quasi-Boss monster… This damage output was comparable to some of the best Light Armor Warriors in the game.
“Boom!”
The giant Sea Serpent’s anger reached the tipping point after its tail was smashed to bits and pieces and its head was cut by Sword Ki Long River.
The skill Shield Bash caused insufferable pain to the target and attracted the aggro of the monster.
At the end of the deck, White Crescent, carrying her medical box, was just prepared to shift her position into the ship’s cabin. Suddenly, her eyes widened as she shouted a reminder to the Heavy Armor Warrior, “Careful!”
Do not underestimate the reaction speed of serpents. Although the giant Sea Serpent was over 40 meters long, it was very agile and its reaction speed was incredibly fast.
After its tail was hit, its first reaction was not to swing its tail to remove all obstacles behind it.
Rather, it turned its head around with the golden longsword still stabbed into it. Then, its round and gray eyes glared with a murderous aura towards the Heavy Armor Warrior. It opened its humongous mouth that could devour a human in one go to the max before lunging at the Heavy Armor Warrior who smashed its tail into pieces.
The giant Sea Serpent’s mouth was definitely big enough for it to devour a human whole.

“F*ck…” The Heavy Armor Warrior was prepared to deal with the tail counterattack of the giant Sea Serpent after his smash attack.
That was why, at that moment, he had raised his alloy shield and was prepared to dodge.
However, unexpectedly, the giant Sea Serpent did not abide by logic and did not swing its tail in retaliation; instead, it was using its mouth to ambush him from behind.
The situation was evolving too quickly, and the Heavy Armor Warrior had enough time to quickly turn his body around and put the shield in front of him.
“Crack!”
The 1.8 meter tall heavy shield was easily bitten by the giant Sea Serpent.
However, it seemed like it had somehow become a positive.
The toughness of the alloy shield was way above other normal items. Since it was set up vertically, now that the giant Sea Serpent had bitten it, it was not going to be easy for the giant Sea Serpent to snap its jaw shut.
As this opportunity arose, the Heavy Armor Warrior decisively took a step back.
“Bang!”
As he retreated, a searing hot sniper rifle bullet brushed past the side of his armor and flew towards the mouth of the giant Sea Serpent.
“-8445!”
Feng Luo held Wings of Death and took that opportunity to fire a shot through the gap beside the alloy shield into the mouth of the giant Sea Serpent.
Although he only dealt a Weak Point damage due to the angle, since it was inside the mouth of the giant Sea Serpent where the defense of the scales and bones was non-existent, the attack dealt a good 8,000 damage. In that instant, Feng Luo’s name appeared on the screen as he took the second spot for the highest single player damage output on the giant Sea Serpent.
“Hiss!”
The Rare Grade alloy shield cracked and was deformed into a curved shield after the giant Sea Serpent bit down hard to close its jaw.
“Clang!”
The giant Sea Serpent spat the shield out. It fell heavily on the deck before bouncing up again. The deformed alloy shield was coincidentally flying towards White Crescent’s location.
If Feng Luo did not pull White Crescent decisively at that moment, she might have become the first victim of the giant Sea Serpent’s first “long-range attack” since the start of the battle, and fall into the ocean.
White Crescent probably had a negative luck value on that day. Why else would she constantly be facing the risk of falling into the ocean?
“Hiss!”
After receiving continuous attacks, specifically the Heavy Armor Warrior’s Shield Bash and Feng Luo’s shot just now, the giant Sea Serpent’s aggro had reached its max, and it no longer cared about the other players attacking it.
The pupils on the giant Sea Serpent’s large head glowed as it hissed in anger. It moved its gigantic body on the deck quickly and charged towards Feng Luo and the Heavy Armor Warrior.
“Looks like we messed around too much!” Feng Luo smiled bitterly.
In truth, Feng Luo had wanted to escort White Crescent into the ship’s cabin first before finding himself a better position to start attacking this Quasi-Boss Grade giant Sea Serpent.
After all, he was a Sniper, not a warrior. He did not have to face the monster head-on, even though his second profession was that of a Light Armor Warrior.
However, when he saw the Heavy Armor Warrior keep the serpent’s mouth open with his alloy shield, he did not want to let the chance slip by, so he decisively made that shot. Unfortunately, the aggro of the giant Sea Serpent had now been pulled by the two of them in that location. It looked as if the giant Sea Serpent had sworn to someone that it would eat them no matter what.
They were currently at the back of the military ship. The deck in that area was around four to five meters wide. One side was the ship’s railing while the other was a building. If the giant Sea Serpent’s large body pushed towards them, they did not have much space to dodge.
“Formation, Earth Prison!” However, the giant Sea Serpent suddenly stopped moving after moving around a dozen or so meters towards Feng Luo and the Heavy Armor Warrior when a mud yellow energy ring connected to the deck and the ship’s cabin appeared and had locked onto the neck area of the giant Sea Serpent, keeping it from continuing to move momentarily.
It was the manipulator’s Level 15 general basic skill – Energy Formation.
