Chapter 468: The Force of NPC Agents
Translator: Nyoi-Bo Studio Editor: Nyoi-Bo Studio
“Chi!”
“-3044!”
“Damn it…hu!” The Caucasian NPC Agent’s left punch had bashed the Tyrant T-100’s claw hard, but following that, his back was not quick enough to dodge had three wounds scratched up by another’s Tyrant T-100’s claw.
This battle had been ongoing for a minute.
On the ground beside him a Tyrant T-100’s corpse with a broken neck was left, and there were no less than 20 wounds on his body.
Although his Force was a Vitality enhancement-type and his impact resistance ability was very powerful, even the immense strength of a Tyrant T-100 could not have caused too large a damage to his skeleton. But three Level 55 Commander grade creatures continuously caused slash-like wounds on his body with their super-long sharp claws, he was increasingly bleeding.
The occasional Force attacks by these strange fellows almost tore his right hand into two sections, it was hanging weakly on his right side.
“Peng!”
“Hu, hu!”
In contrast, the other Asian Agent that was being surrounded by six Tyrants with the Caucasian NPC Agent was in a better situation.
This NPC Agent was able to cover his body surface with a layer of soil-formed armor, even if the Tyrant’s claws slashed with the Force, it would only be able to shatter the Normal soil which had become as hard as steel under the effect of the Force. After battling for so long, this Agent had not gotten injured.
“But how long can your strength last?” The only Tyrant T-100 standing there had not participated in the battle said in a hoarse voice with its mouth hidden under the erected collar of its black coat.
The third Agent surrounded alone at one side looked very troubled.
In the battle, the surface of his body had been ablaze with fierce orange-red flames, which had shrouded the surrounding range of five meters; the severely high temperature had was as if it burnt the ground to a crisp.

This kind of ability against typical close-combat enemies would be very useful. But the problem was that the Tyrant T-100 was not a person on conventional terms.
Howl!
The three awakened Tyrant T-100s were not bothered about the blazing flames that had already made their skin surface rapidly burn up and turn black
They charged for the “fireman Agent” in the center, their six muscular arms violently bashing or grabbing at his blurry four limbs and head in the flames. If they had grabbed firmly, if it were real flames, he would have been torn into six parts by the great strength of the three Tyrants.
“Bash!”
Luckily, there were still six bright white Energy force fields encircled with flames surrounding the surface of the “fireman Agent,” blocking the attacks of the three Tyrants.
The problem was that the Energy force fields were getting dimmer.
…
In another minute, the battle circumstance was completely tilted to one side.
The three Federal NPC Agents, surrounded and attacked by nine Tyrant T-100s that were Level 55 Commander monsters and had already entered the awakened state, would still be able to indifferently keep up the battle if their Forces were sufficient.
After their Forces had been rapidly depleted in huge amounts due to the fierce battle, the three NPCs would no longer be able to keep up their battle power.
“Crack!”
When that Agent whose body surface had formed a soil armor jumped at the chance to somersault into the air and lift a leg to give a Tyrant T-100 a kick in the neck, his own neck was grabbed by a Tyrant’s claw.
Without Force maintenance, his soil armor became really weak, after which his neck was completely broken by the Tyrant.
“Pu!”
At the same time, the “fireman,” whose forcefield around his body had completely dimmed and shattered, had also been grabbed by two Tyrant T-100s radiating a burnt stench from their bodies, then was torn into two halves.

“Wicked!” On the battlefield, it was only the Caucasian NPC with Vitality-type Force left.
He fought a Tyrant T-100 which bashed his back with a claw and he borrowed the momentum of him flying out and landing to speedily get back up, vomiting blood as he fled.
This battle ended here, with the death ratio of the two sides as 2:3.
The Federal NPC Agent camp had two, while the Tyrant T-100s had three deaths, with the other six all suffered a definite extent of injury.
“Mission…complete…please give the command.” However, these Tyrant T-100s did not chase that fleeing Caucasian NPC Agent.
The Tyrant T-100 who had not participated in the battle noticed it’s wristwatch suddenly blinked, then projected a three-dimensional human silhouette into the air.
“Bring the people and items back, be careful not to be followed by anyone.” The silhouette of Wesker, looking cool wearing a black windbreaker and sunglasses, appeared.
His face was still very ice cold but seeing the corpses of the two Federal NPC Agents on the ground, and William with a bloody head unconscious in the car, the side of his mouth moved slightly.
“William, as a technical staff member, are you really clear about how powerful the company’s ability is? Wanting to leave the company with the research outcome, you’re really too ignorant. But the Federal Agent Department has actually assigned three people to come and protect you, and that trouble-making Agent staff from Silvermoon City. Seems like they really view you highly enough, this is making me anticipate the G-Virus even more. In contrast to the T-Virus, the G-Virus’s experimental data is indeed more outstanding. Before, having the support of the rebellion’s cloning technology and using the genes of Forcers, these Tyrant T-100s were still unable to match up to true Forcers and could only rely on numbers to gain the upper hand, unable to really unleash the super strength of the Force. But perhaps after getting the G-Virus, it would be different.”vWesker wondered aloud.
No one noticed that at that moment, in that overturned Energy SUV, William’s eyelids with suddenly moved slightly, with a bloody head and whose breathing had weakened.
The fingers on his right hand which was squashed under his body and broken by the impact ignored the pain as they moved slightly unnoticeably.
The wedding ring worn on his left ring finger suddenly sprung out a very short fine needle, after which from inside the amethyst-like crystal wedding ring, a drop of purple-colored substance was injected into his body.
…
“It’s…Mister…Wesker.” The Tyrant T-100 that did not participate in the battle nodded to Wesker who had finished speaking.
The two Tyrant T-100s, which had already regained human shape and had put on their black coats, walked speedily towards the overturned car where William was. One on the left and the right, they were prepared to drag William together with the box held in his hand out from the car.
“…”
However, William, whose head was hanging upside down and was in a coma from serious injury suddenly opened his eyes and raised his head.
His initially profusely bleeding wound on his head was rapidly healing at a speed visible with the naked eye, and streaks of moving blood vessels appeared on his maroon face, as if there were worms crawling within. His two shoulder blades protruded outward, forming two bubbling sacs, as if something was about to break out from them.
At the same time, a vague powerful force came out from within his initially very typical and frail body.

Important Note: This is going to be an evolving story as I write. I am sure many of you will have plenty of criticisms for the earliest/earlier chapters and some of them are justified but I intend to continuously improve as I progress through the story. I hope you stick with me until then. Features: Technology Gap, Mechs in a Fantasy World, Conspiracies and Mysteries, Epic Adventures! Note: Mechs will be featured but it is NOT the main thing about this story. There will be extended periods of time of a more grounded story rather than mech warfare. The first people Leah meets seem to know her - but not her. Leah is thrust into a fighter's role that does not quite suit her, and those who 'rescued' her do their best to help her fit in. They hint at a world that Leah can only vaguely understand without serious research and exploration, but how to do that research, when everyone believes her to be a local of this place, and too many questions might draw unwanted attention? And what about home? The more Leah learns about this world, the less she believes that she woke up on the right side of the bed - or more accurately, on the right side of the conflict. With magic being strictly regulated in her current "home," maybe it's time to uproot and look for a new set of allies... -- Displacement is a queer / lgbt bodyswap isekai: Leah Armande falls out of a Quebecois city into an unfamiliar fantasy world, and Leah Talesh falls out of her adventuring party's homeland and into an unfamiliar industrial world. The story follows both women as they navigate their new surroundings, trying at times to find a way home, at times just to pass for a local, and at times to actually make a life for themselves in their new world. Expect in-depth politics and worldbuilding, sapphic moments, foibles, and far too much time spent either in libraries or convalescing (or sometimes both).
