Fatal Shot Chapter 155

Chapter 155
Heavy rain poured from the sky . Occasional lightning would light up Roguetown below .
On the ground, a fierce battle was ongoing . Intense gunshots were interwoven, and the sound was in no way inferior to that of the thunder . As for the bright and colorful explosions created by all kinds of energy skills, they were in no way inferior to the flashes of lightning, either .
The people from the Umbrella Corporation had the absolute initiative, and, relying on the advantage they had gained from the beginning, they had already pressed the guard soldiers and players inside the retail shops and multi-storied buildings .
As for the initially huge number of citizens and tourists, some of them had already run away while others had become corpses in the streets during the course of battle .
For Captain Harley, this breakout operation was already a failure . Multiple citizens had been killed while the firetruck and the three patrol vehicles were broken down . As for the guard of the town, they could only hide inside the building and rely on the guns in their hands and their soon-to-be depleted ammunition to make a hopeless last stand .
For the players, however, it was not yet time to despair .
This was because the mission target, Director Locke, was still alive even in this chaotic situation thanks to their focused defending . It also meant that their highly important city-building mission could still be completed . And although their dead numbered more than the enemy at that moment, they still had seven people left, which exceeded the opponents .
However, the current situation was still very serious . The attack from the armed forces of the Umbrella Corporation and the opposing players had completely blocked the path in front of them . The large zombie horde behind them was still continuously closing in on them . Some zombies were even wailing as they tried to break into the shops the players were hiding in . As for ammunition supplies, although there wasn’t much left, they could still hold out for a while .

On the other side, the Heavy Armor Warrior who was the leader of the Roaring Dragon Mercenary Group didn’t have it easy either . Most of the opponents were already trapped inside the few shops and were experiencing a pincer attack from them and the zombie horde . It seemed like it was only a matter of time before they were eliminated .
However, there were still two Snipers who weren’t within the encirclement!
Although there were only two Snipers, the threat they posed was much more than that of the players and NPC guards pressed inside the building combined! It was because these two Snipers were real experts! One of them had already killed over five Umbrella Corporation armed personnel as well as one Manipulator player, reducing their firepower significantly . As for the other one, he had killed two Light Armor Warriors single-handedly just a little while ago . For him to have taken out these two associates himself, he must have been an expert .
More importantly, due to the stormy weather, the monitoring capabilities of the Umbrella Corporation had completely lost track of the second Sniper’s location . These sorts of hidden threats were often the most fatal!
“Damn it! If I’d known this mission would turn out like this, I would have just brought two more Snipers!”
The reason the Heavy Armor Warrior was grumbling was that apart from the threat posed by the enemy Snipers, the situation had become uncontrollable due to the initial rashness of the Sniper on his side, which had caused him to get killed instantly .
They were both Snipers; he could only lament that he had a God-like opponent and a pig-like teammate!
“Fire, fire! Suppress them! Do not let them out!” The Heavy Armor Warrior shouted through the communicator channel as he commanded the remaining players and over a dozen armed personnel from the Umbrella Corporation currently scattered about and shooting .
As he shouted, he raised his shield and provided cover for a Machine Gunner and a Doctor player . They still had the initiative at the moment because as long as they could keep the enemy pressed within the few shops, the large zombie horde would help them eliminate the enemies . That had been their battle plan from the very beginning .

“Everyone pay attention . Be careful of Snipers, do not engage them!”
Just as the Heavy Armor Warrior was giving orders loudly, a barely detectable fingernail-sized beetle had already reached a location above them, flapping its wings with great difficulty amid the storm .
In the corner of a street less than 100 meters away from the Heavy Armor Warrior, the muzzle of a gun could be seen through the flashes of lightning . Behind a wall, a sniper rifle that seemed to have electricity coursing through it was already aimed at the Machine Gunner from the Roaring Dragon Mercenary Group who was firing suppressing fire at the players from the Lu Conglomerate!
Bang!
A light-blue sniper bullet pierced through the curtain of rain as it flew across the distance . The bullet, spinning at high speed pierced through rainwater and created a path in the air that was difficult for a normal eye to discern!
−3322
The Machine Gunner—who was initially using the six-barrelled machine gun to lay down suppressive fire—could not help but jerk at that moment . Above his head, weak-point damage nearing 3,500 appeared .
“Careful!” the Heavy Armor Warrior said, reacting quickly . He swung the alloy shield in his hand and immediately blocked the Machine Gunner behind it . “It’s another Sniper!”
The Heavy Armor Warrior felt somewhat relieved .
I’m not afraid of you appearing, he thought . I was more afraid that you would keep hiding forever!
However, the moment his shield covered the Machine Gunner…
Bang!
−5057
Red lethal damage appeared overtop of the exposed Doctor’s head because the Heavy Armor Warrior had shifted his position . Then the Doctor player, who had been preparing to replenish the HP of the Machine Gunner, fell on the ground . The HP was at less than 5 percent—a “heavy injury” status!
The direction of that shot—and Feng Luo’s direction—was around 60 degrees, and it used a unique C-grade bullet that was similar to the shield-breaking bullet that increased one’s attack . However, its attack was far less than Feng Luo’s M110 .
The Python of Death was a rare Sniper rifle among all the current best players . Paired with the effects of the unique bullets that increased one’s attack percentage, a single shot was enough to put the Doctor player in a “heavy injury” status .
As a matter of fact, there was even more! If this Doctor player hadn’t fused with the T-virus, allowing his HP and defense to greatly increase, it was highly probable that he would have been killed .
“Ah Nuan!”
Upon seeing the Doctor fall to the ground, the Heavy Armor Warrior did not have time to think . He raised his shield and ran toward the Doctor out of habit . Due to the amount of HP, no matter where the next shot hit, it would bring about death and a level-drop!
However, the Heavy Armor Warrior’s emotional reaction was undoubtedly the wrong choice! Because after that, two gunshots rang out consecutively . A light-blue bullet and an orange bullet hit the Machine Gunner, who did not have time to get cover .

A flash of white light signified that the player with the strongest suppressive firepower of the Roaring Dragon Mercenary Group had lost all his HP!
“Lin Feng!” shouted the Heavy Armor Warrior with wide eyes as he shielded and dragged the Doctor player to a location that was out of the line of fire of the Snipers .

Harry Potter: Dimensional Wizard
Edward was reincarnated into the world of Harry Potter, an act which excites him giving the fact that this was one of his favorite books. So, he embarks on the path of wizardry in the hope of discovering the way it works, the laws or theories that govern it; he wanted to find its essence. He tries to find the answer to questions like What is the soul. Why can wizards use magic, while muggles cannot? Do bloodlines truly exist? And if so, what use is it to wizards? Could it be the reason that some wizards are born with exceptional talents like Parselmouth or Metamorphmagus? When Edward finally uncovers the answers to these questions he pondered on, he suddenly thought to himself: "Since the world of Harry Potter is real, what about all the other anime, movies, games, and books that I read from my past life? And if they are indeed real, how I can I get there?" This story is an Infinite Stream novel where the mc travels through different anime and movie worlds acquiring various magical abilities and knowledge to become a supreme wizard that stands on the top of countless dimensions and universes. Warnings: The MC will spend a great deal of time in the Harry Potter World before going to other worlds.I have not decided whether the [Curse Child] is canon or not. I do not care what JK Rowling said. This is a pseudo-science explanation of magic, so take it with a grain of salt. I am an amateur writer with not-so-good grammar, so any constructive criticism is appreciated. This is a wish-fulfillment and Gary Stu-type novel so read at your convenience. If this is not your kind of thing, then move along and do not complain about it later. Although this fanfic will be a Harem, the mc will not have a thousand women. Most likely, I will write so that he has a certain relationship with some female characters, then he will leave her in her own universe. Only a few will follow him in his journey. Also, a few men will be in his group. THIS IS NOT A YAOI. Disclaimer: All the characters--except the one created by me--belong to JK Rowling.
