Chapter 271: 271
Chapter 271: Profligate Son
“My dear Divine Light Dragon, darling, let me kiss you.”
A perverted young man of about 1.9 meters tall with a slightly hunched body and a face full of wrinkles appeared at the entrance of the tavern.
As if he had cast some kind of magic, the people in the tavern turned their heads in unison when they heard the voice.
They obediently did not meddle in other people’s business.
All their energy was used to deal with the meat on the table or the wine in the cup in front of them.
It was as if an ordinary object had suddenly become delicious.
It was as if they had never encountered such delicacy in their entire lives.
“Why are you so naughty, running around everywhere? Quick, follow me home!”
The wretched youth stretched out his hand to pull the Divine Light Dragon’s reins. It was as if he was really a domestic animal that had escaped from his home by accident and the owner wanted to pull him home.
Roar!
The Divine Light Dragon shook its neck and raised its head high, not letting the wretched youth touch it.
As it issued a warning, the Divine Light Dragon’s voice sounded in Locke’s mind.
“Can I bite him to death?”
Locke frowned. He did not expect to be in trouble as soon as he entered the city.
As he comforted the Divine Light Dragon, he tidied his clothes and stepped forward.
“Sir, I’m afraid there’s some misunderstanding. This is my Divine Light Dragon.”
“Ah, it’s like this. If you say this is your Divine Light Dragon, then it’s yours. What proof do you have?”
The wretched youth glanced at Locke from outside and subconsciously took a step back for some reason.
The foul words that were already on the tip of his tongue were swallowed immediately.
With his character, he would always take whatever he liked home directly. How could he discuss and reason with anyone?
However, the moment he saw Locke, he subconsciously restrained himself a little.

“Proof?”
Locke was stunned for a moment
Battle Beasts had signed soul contracts, not cabbages sold by the roadside. Why did he need evidence?
The wretched young man in front of him was obviously here to pick a fight.
Locke had met many people like this. They were either the second generation of officials or the second generation of the rich.
Looking at the reactions of the people in the tavern, he knew that this was a playboy from Cloud City.
In the past, Locke would have slapped them and taught them how to behave.
Now, he could not.
Locke came to Cloud City to seek help so he could not afford to offend these good-for-nothings.
The reason why good-for-nothings became the way they were was because their families were rich and powerful.
This group of people had one person of the same sex, who could not do anything but ruin things.
If you asked them for help, you might not be able to succeed even if you asked them for 100 things.
However, if they wanted to sabotage you, their power would be shocking.
When the other party asked Locke to provide evidence, Locke knew that things were not going well.
He took a step forward and touched the chest of the Divine Light Dragon.
With a flash of light, the Divine Light Dragon was put away, leaving only Hathaway in Locke’s arms.
“Please prepare a room for me.”
Locke put away the Divine Light Dragon and used his actions to tell her what the evidence was. Then, he turned around and went straight to the tavern owner. He did not want to talk to her further.
“Stop, what did you do to my Divine Light Dragon?”
“Wait a minute. Beautiful lady, you look so familiar!”
“I’m Morgan, Morgan Morris, the son of the Lord of Cloud City. Beautiful Lady, how should I address you?”
Morgan had just taken a step forward when he suddenly discovered Hathaway in Locke’s arms. He was instantly captivated by her beauty.
After being a tyrant in Cloud City for so long, he had encountered all kinds of women.

However, he had never even seen Hathaway, let alone spent a night with her.
The moment he saw Hathaway, Morgan’s heart thumped quickly, as if there was an electric current flowing through it.
It was as if a small hand had ruthlessly rubbed his heart, causing his entire body to twitch. His lower body immediately stood up high, like a soldier waiting to be inspected.
When Morgan was 12 years old, he had tasted the forbidden fruit on his wet nurse.
Whenever he saw the woman he liked, the first thought that flashed through his mind was to sleep with her.
In Morgan’s world, if you liked someone, you had to sleep with her.
Only in this way could you walk into a woman’s heart.
“Scram!”
Hathaway’s red lips opened slightly and she coldly spat out a word.
Although Hathaway was a beauty in front of Locke, in the eyes of outsiders, she was a real iceberg.
Especially the change in Morgan’s lower body, it could not be hidden from Hathaway’s view.
Although she had been poisoned and her body was weak, Hathaway was once the lord of Water City, a stage three level seven Beastmaster.
Hathaway had seen a lot of profligate sons like Morgan.
Even talking to them would make her feel disgusted.
“A fierce horse.. I like it.
“My favorite thing in life is to tame a fierce horse.
“When you’re panting under my crotch, I hope you can be as feisty!”
Morgan reached out and touched Hathaway’s hair. Then, he placed it under his nose and sniffed it with an intoxicated look.
Locke glared at him and a trace of killing intent surged toward Morgan but it was blocked by a gentle force.
There was an expert!
An old man with wrinkles all over his face and age spots grinned at Morgan.
As the son of the city lord, Morgan had run amok in Cloud City for many years but he had never met with any trouble. This was because there was an old man taking care of him.
This old man was a fourth-tier Beastmaster raised by the Morris family. He was already more than a hundred years old.
In the entire Cloud City, other than the city lord, there were only a few fourth-tier Beastmaster and above.
The city lord was busy with all kinds of government affairs every day. He simply had no time to care about his son.
Everything Morgan had was arranged and taken care of by the old man.
The old man had watched Morgan grow up since he was young. In all of Morgan’s misdeeds, there was a shadow of the old man.
It could even be said that without the old man, Morgan would not be where he was today.
“Boss, get a room.”
Locke knocked on the bar counter and said again.
When Morgan came to look for trouble, the bar owner did not dare to come close.
The first time Locke called for him to get a room, he pretended not to hear it.
Now, the second time Locke called for him, he finally could not avoid it. He could only raise his eyes and look at the old man as if he was asking for help.
It seemed that Morgan’s power was greater than he had imagined.
Locke took a deep breath and forcefully suppressed the anger in his heart.
He took out a magic crystal the size of an egg from his pocket and casually threw it on the table.
“Keep the change.”
It was a magic crystal of a fifth-tier Battle Beast. Not to mention buying the entire hotel, it was enough to cover the cost for a year and a half.
Locke deliberately showed his wealth to warn Morgan not to mess with him.
When the hotel owner saw such a huge magic crystal, he was so shocked that he could not speak.
Locke did not need to open the hotel anymore. The entire hotel could stay anywhere it wanted.
“Did I say you could leave?”
Morgan looked back at the old man.
Seeing that the old man did not say anything, Morgan felt confident and reached out to grab Hathaway’s hand.
