Chapter 221: 221
Chapter 221: Beautiful Woman
After waking up from the hangover, Locke went to the living room and drank some milk.
The real estate agent in his hometown called.
“Hello, Mr. Viscount! I’m from the Atlanta City’s Widdock Real Estate Development Company. There are some procedures that I need to confirm with you…”
“Yes! I want to build a small manor on that piece of land. I’ll send the deposit to you immediately!” After drinking quite a lot yesterday, Locke even forgot about this matter.
Just the deposit alone was a large sum of money. Although it was a little expensive, it was good as long as his parents liked it.
However, the service staff said, “Mr. Viscount, don’t misunderstand! The governor of the city hall has already given us the deposit! You only need to sign the electronic document on your phone…”
“???” Locke did not quite understand what had happened.
It turned out that after contacting them to buy the land yesterday, the local city hall noticed the identity of Viscount Locke in the remarks.
Moreover, it was granted by His Majesty the King.
This was a great event for the remote Atlanta City, where there were almost no nobles!
The local governor was only a Baron. When he found out about this matter, he immediately realized that Locke definitely knew His Majesty the King!
To curry favor with Locke, he bought this land for Locke out of his own pocket.
Locke did not expect that such an identity could bring so much convenience.
It seemed that his parents’ safety could also be guaranteed!
After signing the document, the other party politely hung up the phone.
After everything was prepared, Locke took a few boxes and went downstairs.
Dickens’ motorcade to the airport had been waiting at the entrance for a long time.
After bidding farewell to their parents, they officially headed to the Heavenly City.

The plane was provided by Adelaide.
Once Dickens sat down, he turned on his laptop.
“Boss, look! This is a manor I bought yesterday as well as a few apartments in the city center! It’s convenient for us to do things moving forward. The company we’re covering for is also the Beastmaster training ground…”
These few places were all well chosen. The transportation was convenient and it was bustling.
“You can stay in the manor. The conditions there are very good!” Dickens opened the manor’s preview map.
Locke rubbed the space between his brows and said, “I’ll stay in the apartment. To understand a city, I have to live on the streets.”
“Oh, that makes sense! Then I’ll stay in the apartment next to yours. Oh right, I’ve also arranged for a lot of maids for you. They’ll take care of everything at home…” Dickens raised his eyebrows and smiled evilly.
Locke was very satisfied with the other party’s arrangements.
As Locke drank too much yesterday, he put on a black eye mask and fell asleep again…
…
A few hours later, they had arrived at the Heavenly City.
Locke had woken up long ago.
This was because when Dickens and his men were about to land, they were excited to see the bustling Heavenly City outside the window.
“Boss! Let’s go straight to the apartment!” Dickens and his men began to pack their luggage.
Locke yawned and shook his head. “You guys go first. I’ve memorized the place. Someone will be looking for me soon…”
Sure enough, it had only been ten minutes and Dickens and his men had yet to pack their luggage.
Peter had appeared here.
This was what Locke had told him through a text message before he boarded the plane.
“Hahaha! Child! Welcome to Heavenly City! His Majesty the King was also very happy when he found out that you were willing to come!” Peter laughed loudly as he walked forward and shook hands with Locke.

Dickens and the others had only seen big shots like Peter on television.
This sudden appearance had made them somewhat at a loss.
However, Dickens quickly calmed down. He quietly left the airport with his subordinates.
Dickens was afraid that he and his subordinates’ identities would negatively affect Locke.
“Let’s go! We’ll talk when we get in the car!”
In the limousine, Peter spoke again, “Welcome to the camp of the royal agents! Your main mission is to obey His Majesty’s command! Eliminate the enemies who threaten the safety of the continent and attempt to subvert the royal family…”
“These are some guidelines and rules. Take a look at them when you have the time…”
This was similar to what was shown on television.
However, Locke believed that they would only hand over the most difficult mission to him. After all, his strength lay in this.
“As for the treatment, ten million federal coins a year and three Battle Beast eggs! How about it? Isn’t it great?” Peter laughed.
Ten million and three Battle Beast eggs were naturally very high treatment for ordinary Beastmasters.
To Locke, it was just a drop in the bucket. It did not interest him at all.
“I don’t want money! I only want some items as the reward. Is that alright?”
With the profits from the Holy City’s underground black market, Locke was no longer an ordinary rich man.
Right now, he only wanted those difficult-to-get leveling materials.
Peter was silent for a moment, then smiled, and said, “Hahaha… Your Majesty’s guess is indeed correct. You’re different from an ordinary Beastmaster.
“Alright, that won’t be a problem. As long as it’s not too excessive!”
After the conditions were met, the car drove directly to another secret stronghold.
It was also an ordinary building that did not look eye-catching.
After entering the house, Peter came to a surveillance machine with facial recognition.
After confirming the identity, the wall began to rotate, revealing the interior that looked like a conference room.
“Good afternoon, Mr. Secretary-general…”
A one-eyed middle-aged man immediately came forward to greet him.
“How are you, Miles? I brought you a new member…” Peter smiled politely and walked toward the main seat of the meeting room.
The middle-aged man named Miles sized Locke up with an unfriendly gaze.
There were four young men standing behind him.
“These are the Beastmasters who have three rose gold rank Battle Beasts?”
“Why do I feel like this person is a playboy…”
“He should be a few years younger than us…”
“Hello, handsome…”
The four of them, three men and one woman, all looked at Locke with curious gazes.
After the seven of them sat down, Peter officially began to introduce Locke.
Miles’ face was like an unchanging cement floor. From beginning to end, there was no expression on his face.
“Locke, you’re now a member of the First Division. This is your captain, Miles! Everyone else, please introduce yourselves…” Peter said to the other four people.
The first to speak was a tall guy. “I’m Gustav! I’ve been working for five years!”
Locke nodded. This guy looked like he was about 27 or 28 years old.
He was probably a member of the Royal Secret Service at his age.
The man had thick limbs and a fist full of scars. Locke felt like he was a boxer.
Just as the second person was about to speak, he was interrupted by a beautiful woman.
“Hello, Locke, I’m Belinda…” As she spoke, she brushed her blonde hair and gave Locke a wink.
Locke was very sure in his heart that this was the sexiest and most beautiful woman he had ever met.

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
