“This duel… Is a draw!”

There was no dispute between the two sides regarding the result.

Mars returned to the preparation area, exhausted, and panting like a dog.

“Your actions near the end of the duel was disappointing!” Alva glared fiercely at Mars as he made his way over.

“Please send out your next participant, Federal Academy!” The chief judge signaled.

Just as Locke was about to stand up, Tristan held him down.

“I’ll take this duel. I’ve been looking forward to fighting Alva for a long time. Please take care of John…” After placing John in his seat, Tristan then made his way towards the battle platform.

Locke had never seen his gentlemanly instructor in action before. Noticing the determination in his voice, Locke made no attempts to stop him.

Instead, Locke turned his head and waved at his Diamond Class classmate who owned a medical Battle Beast.

“The second duel is about to begin! Both sides, please summon your beasts!”

Alva raised his head and looked at Tristan. After thinking for a long while, he then spoke with an amused expression, “So, it’s you, huh? I remember you, you were a student in the Diamond Class as well, right…”

While he spoke, the orange glow of an epic rank Battle Beast enveloped the platform, and the murderous black tank appeared!

“I didn’t expect that someone as influential as you would remember me…”

“Boom!”

With a thunderous slam, Black Tortoise appeared behind Tristan as well.

“Woah! Their Battle Beasts’ are massive!”

“I’ve heard that Black Tortoise is also a mechanical-type. However, had the students not walked out from its hatch earlier, I would never have believed the rumors…”

Alva entered his tank. After giving an order, his tank fired a cannon as well!

An explosion rang out, and the dueling platform quaked!

“Regardless of the type of Battle Beast, all their moves are created via mana. As such, you need not be surprised…” John explained. Although he still had not recovered from his wounds, his nature as an educator had compelled him to clear Locke’s confusion.

A full-on firefight had already begun between the two duelists on the platform. The two Battle Beasts constantly exchanged shots at one another while making evasive maneuvers.

Their cannon shots were in sync!

To the audience, the duel was more akin to a military confrontation.

Alva’s attack was quite fierce. The firepower of his cannonballs was obviously higher than his opponent’s!

Tristan, on the other hand, fought cautiously. He remained on the defensive and only attacked whenever he found openings!

Noticing how cautious his opponent was, Alva snorted, “Boring! Let’s have some fun!”

He jumped out of his tank, and his Heaven-disrupting Tank transformed!

Mechanical sounds continued to ring out, and soon, the tank had turned into a robot that had a cannon attached on its right shoulder!

While standing on the left shoulder, Alva telepathically issued his orders. With that, the robot then unleashed a barrage of shots!
