Abe The Wizard Chapter 1168

Chapter 1168: 1168
Wizard Dolan was quicker than Abel expected. In just a few minutes, he was at the Golden Castle.
Abel met up with him in the lounge.
“Grandmaster Bennett, I’ve been waiting for you to accept my request for a long time!” Wizard Dolan said with a friendly yet irritated tone.
“Wizard Dolan, I’ve been in retreat. Sorry!” Abel smiled.
“Grandmaster Bennett, that’s why I come here so fast. I was afraid that you would go back in retreat!” Wizard Dolan also smiled.
He organized a few men to monitor the wizard union system at all times and notify him once Abel accepted his request.
“Wizard Dolan, what Life potion is it? I saw that a few other legendary wizards also listed some similar requests.” Abel asked curiously.
“The Life potion’s formula was discovered in an ancient sight by the wizard union. We sacrificed a lot for it’s ingredients. But even after we did, we realised no potion maker could make them!” Wizard Dolan laughed.
It has been a few thousand years since, but even with the large amounts of odd resources of the WIzard Union, they only managed to accumulate 5 portions.
Perhaps there were only 5 portions in this world.
The wizard union needed a confident master potion maker, but no one was up to the task.
After some long investigation, the wizard union discovered this Life potion actually belonged to a completely different rank, a grandmaster rank.
There was information about grandmaster alchemists in the ancient documents, but since there was never a grandmaster alchemist, their investigation could only stay on the surface level.
However, since the 5 legendary wizards met Abel when he was a master alchemist, they were confident that he could become a grandmaster alchemist eventually. Therefore, they decided to beat the others to the punch and exchanged all the Life potions ingredients from the Wizard Union.
Most of the other legendary wizards were in retreat, so they didn’t even know that a grandmaster alchemist had emerged.
“Wizard Dolan, can I look at the formula?” Abel asked curiously.
“Of course, I got it ready long ago!” Wizard Dolan took out a vintage stone from his portal bag and carefully placed it on the table.
Abel picked it up. The age on it was hard to hide. Abel could immediately tell it was from ancient times.

“Grandmaster Bennett. I’m afraid that the translated formula they got was wrong, so I’ve brought you the original one. the language of high elves shouldn’t be a challenge to you right?” Wizard Dolan smiled.
Abel knew the language of high elves. He even had a group of them in the Dark World.
He began to scan the stone. The first thing that caught his attention was the main ingredient. It was the blood of a god, the actual blood of a god.
There were also many supporting ingredients he never even heard of.
At least now he understood why master potion makers could not make them. The alchemy pattern within them could not possibly possess the power to ignite the blood of god.
The power of a life potion was to increase lifespan by 20 percent.
For a normal person who lived to 100, it would be 20 years.
But for a law-defying wizard who lived for thousands of years, that would be 200 or even 300 years.
It would be even more for a Legendary.
“Wizard Dolan, do you have the ingredients?” Abel asked.
“Grandmaster Bennett, please!” Wizard Dolan took out a box filled with magic patterns.
Abel looked down. The box was bound by energy. Even his power of the will could not scan the things inside without opening it.
He carefully opened the box with his hand. The ingredients were stored in the typical Central continent fashion, with ingredients divided into different slots.
The slots were also filled with magic patterns for preservation.
A crystal glass within a slot caught his eyes.
He immediately knew it was the blood of god. He reached out and began to examine it in detail.
He was not a stranger to the blood of god. Back when he was in the Holy Continent, he already ventured into the orcs and found an orc god’s blood.
However, this blood of god was far more powerful than the Orc god blood.
“Wizard Dolan, have you heard about the Orc god?” Abel asked.
“Orc god? The one in the Holy Continent?” Wizard Dolan guessed, but he wasn’t sure.
“Yeah, the one in the Holy Continent!” Abel nodded.
“Grandmaster, the orc god is actually not a real god—just an arrogant half god with no passed down knowledge. He picked a fight with the wizard union and we began to hunt him down. But still, he escaped!” Wizard Dolan laughed.

Abel sighed. Maybe the orc god could become an actual god if they were in a time ruled by gods, but they were not.
It was too bad—not knowing how to be humble in front of wizards was basically suicide.
Abel then turned his attention back to the blood of god.
However, he soon frowned. Although its energy was extremely powerful, its life force was pale in comparison.
It was not even as powerful as the orc god’s blood.
There was no way this blood belonged to an actual god, according to the wizard union.
He ignited his world stone and fully focused on the crystal glass.
Soon, he discovered the reason—the passage of time. Even the wizard union used their best crystal glass and magic box to preserve it. They were still nothing compared to the preservation method of ancient times.
This chapter is scrapped from readlightnovel.org
The orc god, on the other hand, had not been dead for too long, and its life force was always preserved in an ancient sight.
This was how drinking the orc god blood could directly increase 100 years of age.
According to his analysis, this blood of god only had one-third of its original power.
He might get better results even if he just used the orc god blood to make this Life potion.
“Wizard Dolan, I’m afraid there is a problem with this blood of god!” Abel turned and said.
“Grandmaster Bennett, I’m not doubting your ability, but we are quite confident in it!” Wizard Dolan said confidently.
“What I meant is that the life force of this blood of god is fading. If I make a life potion with this bottle, the outcome will not be as good as you expected!” Abel explained.
“Grandmaster Bennett, are the other ingredients okay?” Wizard Dolan suddenly let out a breath of relief and asked again.
Abel was confused. Weren’t the main ingredients the most difficult ingredients to get?
Still, he began to look through the other ingredients.
Luckily the wizard union still had a good method of storing newer ingredients.
“Wizard Dolan, the other ingredients are all good!” After a while, Abel replied with certainty.
“That’s great, do you know how to preserve the blood of god?” Wizard Dolan asked.
Abel was caught off guard. What kind of question was that? Did Wizard Dolan have a way of getting fresh blood from a god?
Although all the remaining gods of this world were close allies of the Wizard Union and Wizard Dolan was very powerful in the union, Abel still wouldn’t believe he could just ask a god for their blood.
It was not easy to negotiate with a god. Especially getting a part of their body. Even a legendary professional needed a long time to recover from a small injury through meditation without Abel’s potion, let alone a god.
Recovery for them needed the power of god, which would be unnecessary to even explain its significance.
On top of that, all gods were arrogant, so asking them for blood was basically an impossible task.
“Wizard Dolan, I don’t have a good method either!” Abel shook his head.
The only method he had was his personal storage box in the Horadric Cube. It was a holy object with the ability to freeze time. However, it was also the foundation of his power, and he was not planning to expose it.
Wizard Dolan frowned. In reality, it was not totally impossible for him to get a tiny bit of blood from a god, but getting some each time would be a big hassle since he could not guarantee if the life force within it would fade or not.
From Abel’s words, he understood that the effect of a Life potion depended on the life force within the blood.
He hesitated, but lifespan was still extremely important to him as a low-rank legendary wizard.
He needed time to push him through the next rank.
“Grandmaster Bennett, can you come with me to the Wizard Union HQ? I can set up the best alchemy room there for you!” Wizard Dolan asked.
“Why?” Abel asked in confusion.
“Grandmaster Bennett, to be honest with you, the Wizard Union had gods locked up in the HQ. There is one of them that we can get some blood from and make a Life potion out of it in real time!” Wizard Dolan replied.
Abel’s jaw dropped. He knew the Wizard Union was powerful, but he never expected them to have gods locked up as blood providers.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.

So another player transferred, but not to the same world, but the Multiverse. Quickly hired, with NO FORCE OF ACTION, by an ancient primordial being, to hunt down and eliminate anomalies around the multiverse. Of course, he'll encounter various kinds of challenges he will ever face. . . (X-Overs between other Worlds/Dimensions) To give details this is a story about an OC that travels around through random universes; the Multiverse at hand. I may need some ideas and suggestions to where next this OC will hop upon, and what would be the objectives would he get. Although, usually the missions would be "dealing with the anomalies". I'll let the story explain that one for me. . I do not own anything in relevance nor anything mentioned in this story.
