Brotherly love .

At Yue Gu Zai’s home in Las Vega, Yue Gu Zai met with Cheng Yi in the study room .

‘Cheng Yi, I want Yan Fen to take over Lam Ping’s position,’ Yue Gu Zai said . ‘Where’s my wife?’

Cheng Yi coughed awkwardly .

‘Boss, your wife is visiting Yan Fen in the guest room again,’ Cheng Yi said .

Cheng Yi was surprised Yue Gu Zai wanted to promote Yan Fen . He knew Yue Gu Zai was jealous Zhen Zhen didn’t cook for Yue Gu Zai in the last two days because she spent most of her time visiting the injured Yan Fen .

In the guest room, Zhen Zhen sliced an apple for Yan Fen .

‘Big brother Yan Fen, you’re awake,’ Zhen Zhen said . ‘How are you feeling?’

Yan Fen thought he was dreaming . Every night he dreamt of Zhen Zhen . But Zhen Zhen’s voice sounded real . He opened his eyes, and saw Zhen Zhen sitting on a chair in front of him .

‘Are you thirsty?’ Zhen Zhen asked .

Zhen Zhen was relieved Yan Fen’s complexion looked better than two days ago when Yue Gu Zai brought Yan Fen to Yue Gu Zai’s home . She saw Yan Fen as an older brother .

‘No thank you,’ Yan Fen said .

‘Big brother Yan Fen, why do you sound so distant?’ Zhen Zhen asked .

Yan Fen didn’t want to upset Zhen Zhen, he forced himself to smile and he looked at the apple slices on the table .

‘Did you cut the apple for me?’ Yan Fen asked .

‘Yes,’ Zhen Zhen said .

Zhen Zhen passed the plate of apple slices to Yan Fen and she smiled at him .

Yue Gu Zai and Cheng Yi walked into the guest room, and Yan Fen tensed on the bed .

‘Boss,’ Yan Fen said .

‘Yan Fen, it’s your lucky day,’ Cheng Yi said . ‘Boss wants to promote you . You’re taking over Lam Ping’s position . ’

‘I don’t deserve the promotion,’ Yan Fen said . ‘If boss didn’t kill Lam Ping that day, I would have been the one killed . ’

‘Don’t sell yourself short,’ Cheng Yi said . ‘If boss believes in you enough to personally nominate you then you deserve the promotion . ’

‘Big brother Yan Fen, you should accept the promotion,’ Zhen Zhen said . ‘Think about the pay rise . ’

‘Miss Zhen Zhen, I didn’t expect you’ll be motivated by money,’ Cheng Yi said .

‘Do you have a problem with me chasing my career ambitions and money?’ Zhen Zhen asked .

‘I wouldn’t dare,’ Cheng Yi said .

Yue Gu Zai held Zhen Zhen’s hand and Cheng Yi followed them outside the guest room to let Yan Fen rest .

Later, Tan Cuo and Tan Hai knocked on the guest room’s door . Strangers wouldn’t know they were siblings, because of their opposite personalities .

‘Little boy, you gave me a scare,’ Tan Cuo said .

‘Big brother Yan Fen, why are you here instead of staying at the hospital?’ Tan Hai asked .

‘This home belongs to Ni Sheng’s boss,’ Yan Fen said . ‘The medical facilities here are as good as a hospital . ’

‘Is Ni Sheng’s boss home?’ Tan Hai asked .

‘Are you saying this is Yue Gu Zai’s home?’ Tan Cuo asked .

‘Yes,’ Yan Fen said .

‘Yan Fen, help me get into Ni Sheng,’ Tan Cuo said .

‘I can’t make any promises,’ Yan Fen said .

Zhen Zhen carried a vase of flowers into Yan Fen’s room . She smiled at Tan Hai .

‘Miss Tan, did you bring a friend here to visit big brother Yan Fen?’ Zhen Zhen asked .

‘Yes,’ Tan Hai said .

If Zhen Zhen wasn’t Yue Gu Zai’s wife, Tan Hai didn’t want to talk to someone like Zhen Zhen who was beneath her .

‘Zhen Zhen, this is my friend Tan Cuo,’ Yan Fen introduced . ‘Tan Cuo, this is… boss’ wife . ’

‘Mrs Yue,’ Tan Cuo greeted .

‘Big brother Tan Cao, you don’t have to call me Mrs Yue,’ Zhen Zhen said . ‘You can call me Zhen Zhen like big brother Yan Fen . ’

‘Big brother Yan Fen, I’ll come back,’ Tan Hai said . ‘I need to go to the bathroom . ’

Tan Hai wanted to look for Yue Gu Zai while Zhen Zhen was visiting Yan Fen .

Yue Gu Zai was in the study room catching up on work he put aside when Zhen Zhen was missing .

Guards stopped Tan Hai from entering the study room . She looked over the guards’ shoulders, and she saw the man of her dreams again .
