Chapter 595: 595
“Really?”
Jiang He’s eyes lit up. “Perfect timing—I’ll kill them all at once!”
“…”
Both Machine Saints despaired.
Killing even the Demon-God Emperor?
However, when they saw his clones that numbered up to millions… they knew he was not exaggerating that he did have such power.
“No!”
“Jiang He, stop!”
Even so, both Machine Saints were really keen on surviving, and cried out even as they fled, “There would be phenomenon appearing if we die, Jiang He, and if the Demon-God Emperor senses it, they would be wary against you—killing them would not be that easy when that happens.”
“That makes sense!”
Jiang He fully agreed with their assertion… yet did not stop chasing down those two Machine Saints.
Soon, all 129,600 clones caught up with both Saints…
“Jiang He!”
A sharp curse resounded. “Our patriarch would never spare you!”
Kaboom!
With that, they self-destructed.
And how powerful would a Saint’s self-implosion be?
Dozens of planetary systems would be vaporized, and three of Jiang He’s clones were killed, caught off guard, and dozens more injured.
The world rumbled and mists of blood wafted, as if all of the Realms Proper was dyed a mystical red.
“My clones…”
Jiang He was absolutely heartbroken.
Still… the injured ones did not matter since his clones knew everything he learned, and with Esoteric Word: Healing and a flash of Eternium, they would be healed instantly.
After that, Jiang He’s eyes lit up.
“Self-destruct?”
“If the Machine Saints could self-destruct, so can I… Not to mention that I have 129,600 clones. Even the Realms Proper would be blown into pieces if everyone blew up, let alone the Demon-God Emperor!”
Jiang He looked around then.
The force of the Saints’ self-destruct was too great, with dozens of planetary systems now wiped out.

Nonetheless, the Machine Realm was vast enough to leave tons of resources for the taking. Sending out three hundred clones, Jiang He cleared up the constellations while having the rest of his clones return into the world in his body, and he began to look for the Machine Patriarch.
However, he did not find any trace of him even after searching all over the Machine Realm!
“Perhaps he isn’t at home?”
“But is he really not showing up even after I’ve devastated the Machine Realm?”
“Still, since I’m not finding them now… Let’s go bother the Demon-God Emperor!”
As the thought crossed Jiang He’s mind, he put away his other 300 clones and disappeared with a whoosh as he dashed toward the Gods and Demons.

At the same time, the True Lord of Morality and Nothingness suddenly paused. Staring at the blood hue shrouding the stars and the reverberation over Dao, astonishing showing all over his face!
“Fallen Saints!”
“The two Machine Saints… are dead?”
“Did Jiang He destroy them?”
Quickly calming himself, the True Lord of Morality and Nothingness remembered that Jiang He had 129,600 clones—it seemed logical for him to kill both Machine Saints by that line of reasoning.
But where was the Machine Patriarch?
Why had he not done a thing?
Moreover, if the True Lord of Morality and Nothingness was himself stunned to sense the deaths of the two Machine Saints, it was only natural that the Demon-God Emperor’s flock would be even more shocked.
“Jiang He killed the two Machine Saints?”
“Impossible!”
“He’s just a newly ascended Saint and definitely wouldn’t have such power! Could the True Lord of Morality and Nothingness be helping in secret? And where is the Machine Patriarch? Why isn’t he stopping Jiang He?!”

The Demon-God Emperor bellowed in rage, “Keep contacting the Machines!”
However, both Machine Saints were already dead… and the entire Machine race was left upside down in the wake of their self-destruction, while Jiang He’s clones wiped out the rest of their elites. Without any leader, the Machines that survived were bawling at the heavens—why would they be bothered with the Gods and Demons?
Moreover, both Saints who were in charge of staying in touch with the Gods and Demons were killed. How was contact even possible?
“Patriarch…”
The Demon Saint replied, “I can’t reach them!”
Despite the grief the Demon-God Emperor was feeling, he did not dare to do anything now that things had come to this.
Pausing and musing to himself for a long while, he turned towards the Demon Saint and said, “Head to the Machine Realm and find out what’s happening. The rest of you, we’re going back to the God Realm!”
***
In the depths of Chaos beyond the Proper Realm, within the alternate dimension where the towering metallic statue stood…
The white-haired old android suddenly shuddered, shock and disbelief appearing in his eyes.
“Dead?”
“My children… dead?”
The Machines’ children were all made by the Machine Patriarch himself, and it was not an exaggeration to say that they were his children.
The Machine race he made walked the path of technological cultivation, but only he—the Machine Patriarch—was a pure Machine.
While he could not sense the battle at the Machine Realm since he was outside of the Realms Proper, he felt it when the two Machine Saints die. One could say that it was a unique programming that he left when he made both Machine Saints.
In fact, he could even see the scene of their death.
And in that scene were swarms of the same figure, who exuded the same frightening aura.
“What?!”
“S-So many Saints?”
Ooom!
Just then, a silhouette appeared behind the old android.
His figure was blurred and he had no face, but he somehow spoke, “How have you been, Brother?”
Calming down then, the Machine Patriarch stared straight at the silhouette, unable to help a jab, “As our patriarch, you are the first Saint who ascended in the Realms Proper. Your future should have been endlessly bright… but to think that you had fallen so far.”
“Is becoming Eternal that important?”
The Machine Patriarch was absolutely emotional, whereas the blurred silhouette sighed, “From another existential perspective, a Machine lifeform like you is eternal. On the other hand, I’m born unto this world, and have merely suffered a setback in my pursuit of Dao.”
“The world is at your feet, whether you succeed or fail.”
The Machine Patriarch critiqued, “However, you would never transcend as an Eternal if you don’t free yourself from the shackles of the Realms Proper.”
“It’s fine. Why not try another form of Eternal after becoming the Realms Proper itself?”
The blurred silhouette chuckled. “These realms are mine. Did you even ask my permission before beseeching the return of your master?”
Even so, the Machine Patriarch stayed fearless and sneered. “Sure, you have fused with the Realms Proper to become the peerless Celestial Will. But how much power could you really project here, in the depths of Chaos?’
The Machine Patriarch suddenly attacked, instantly destroying that blurred silhouette.
With that, he kowtowed again, repeating his deafening pleas as if it was chant…
***
Meanwhile, Jiang He was rushing towards the God Realm and the Demon Realm.
“Hmm?”
He suddenly felt a powerful presence…
“Is that… A Demon Saint?”
“He’s just around 180,000 light years away…”
Likewise, the Demon Saint who was sent to observe the situation in the Machine Realm felt Jiang He’s presence…
