Chapter 567: 567
Chapter 567: Jiang He Leaves Seclusion!
[Ding!]
[+50 billion Farm Points!]
[Ding!]
[+50 billion Farm Points…]
Seven notifications jingled consecutively in Jiang He’s head then—the seven God-Killing Spears had earned him a total of 350 billion Farm Points, along with substantial EXP.
“Hmmm?”
Jiang He’s gaze twitched then, as he noticed sharply that the world in his body expanded slightly again.
“This is connected to the EXP I earn from planting crops?”
The world in Jiang He’s body had expanded a little after he harvested the forty-eight stone coffins, and how the world had changed just now allowed him to confirm that it had something to do with EXP.
The Farm had fused with the world in his body, which in turn gained the Farm’s attributes.
Jiang He thought about it, and took out a pearl with a flip of his hand.
The Yellow World Qi swirling over the pearl obscured it, giving it a mystical presence.
It was the Yellow World Pearl—a premium-grade acquired soul treasure given to him by Puti Zushi, which in turn was a reward from the Daoist of Guidance for strengthening the medicinal pellets and mystic treasures of the Western Sect.
However, the pearl itself was not useful to Jiang He since it was merely premium-grade acquired soul treasure.
It could release a shroud of Yellow World Qi for defense, and contained the force of a world to subjugate an opponent.
However, while it would work against most Demi-Saints, it was completely useless against Saints.
“Whether EXP is correlated to the expansion of the world in my body can be easily proven… I just need to plant the Yellow World Pearl and harvest it.”
“Hold on…”
Jiang He paused suddenly then. “Now that the Farm and the world in my body fused… where do I plant my crops?”
Landing on one of the living planets, Jiang He dug a hole and sprinkled it with Living Soil of the Nine Heavens.
“Dumbo, Trumbo!” he called out.
Dumbo, Trumbo, the Seven Bottle Gourd Brothers, and Jiang He’s maids all warped to the planet immediately.
“Master!”
Dumbo had a look of utter fawning on its face. “What are your orders?”
“Anyone here carrying normal seeds?”
“Seeds?”
Dumbo thought about it for a second, before taking out a pack of spicy potato strips and asked, “Would this do, Master?”
“…”
Jiang He blinked, while Dumbo quietly added, “Master, this would work… I planted a hundred packs the last time I planted one!”
This dog experimented with my Farm?!
“Mother…”
Jiang He raised his hand at that, and Dumbo promptly dropped prone on the ground, pleading, “Mercy, Master…”
Unable to decide if he should laugh or cry, Jiang He lowered his hand and said, “Fine, get up… Try planting a pack.”
Dumbo jumped up then and quickly dug a hole on the ground.
The planets in his body were no different from the outside world, and had the same earthen composition.
Soon, Dumbo had planted one bag of spicy potato strips… but the ground did not shift at all even after half an hour.

Perplexed, Dumbo tried planting sunflower seeds, cola, french fries, and chicken legs, but it was to no effect.
Beside it, Trumbo took out a few mystic treasures and planted them as well.
“Where did you get those?!”
Dumbo was stunned as if he had discovered a new world, and accused Trumbo, “Didn’t we plant all the medicinal pellets and mystic treasures we plundered? How could you keep stuff for yourself behind my back?”
“This isn’t, and I didn’t. Don’t frame me!”
Worried, Trumbo quickly turned toward Jiang He and explained, “Master, to tell the truth… I really like reading books about item refinement, and had the idea of doing that on my own.”
“However, it turns out that I’m untalented when it comes to refining items, and I only managed to refine inferior-grade immortal items after years of research.”
“You can refine inferior-grade immortal items?”
Jiang He was surprised.
Trumbo usually didn’t talk much… and it turns out that he was that accomplished in item refinement?
Jiang He would certainly admit that his item refinement techniques were slapdash.
Still, he had exchanges with Chan Sect masters of item refinement and pellet refinement, and knew how difficult those disciplines were.
Not matter how talented or how strong their background, a novice item refinist would hardly be initiated into the discipline without a master’s guidance.
And Trumbo was just a cat…
He learned it without a mentor behind Jiang He’s back and was able to refine inferior-grade immortal items in years. Would he not be developing by leaps and bounds should his talent be groomed by a famous master?
“Not bad, not bad…” Jiang He praised. “Keep studying, and after we’re done here, I’ll get you some grandmasters of item refinement to teach you… alright, now plant the mystic treasures you refined.”
Trumbo nodded, and planted his inferior-grade immortal items in the ground.
Dumbo could not help being dumbstruck at the scene.
“Trumbo actually learned item refinement behind our backs?”
“No way!”
“I have to learn something as well… won’t I fall out of favor otherwise?”
It ran off to a corner in the Farm, took out some of the Spatial Rings he had kept for himself, and found several books after searching around a little.
“I bought these books from Earth…”
Dumbo turned toward the cover, its title written in blood-hue: Candle in the Tomb…
And then there was this series titled Grave Robbers’ Chronicle…
Dumbo hence started going through the pages and read engrossedly, and its eyes sparkled at the contents. “Trumbo was praised by Master for learning item refinement in secret, but he would definitely praise me if I learned something as well…”
It was exciting just thinking about it, and it could not help laughing out loud!
Soon, over half an hour had passed, and it was almost two hours since Jiang He planted the Yellow World Pearl… but there was just no reaction, be it from the pearl, the inferior-grade immortal items Trumbo made, or Dumbo’s spicy potato strips as well.
“My Farm couldn’t have crippled, could it?”

Jiang He felt a stabbing pain in his heart, and took out the Yellow World Pearl from the ground, throwing it out.
However, he had grown so powerful that he threw the Yellow World Pearl into the stars, even shattering one planet.
Jiang He grunted—the shattering of a planet in his body left him with an unusual pain. Still, just as he was about to curse, his eyes twinkled…
“Eh?”
In the stars, that premium-grade acquired soul treasure Yellow World Pearl abruptly shown in earthen-yellow luster.
This chapter is scrapped from readlightnovel.org
By the next second, it was expanding before turning into a new world with a loud bang.
It was swirling with Yellow World Qi and exceedingly beautiful.
“…”
Jiang He gaped.
Throwing stuff into the stars was actually the correct way to plant crops?
With that, he snatched off the inferior-grade immortal items Trumbo was holding and threw them all to the stars. Immortal radiance hence shone as the items turned into light and resembled… eventually becoming mediocre-grade immortal items.
The process took one hour sharp.
“Like before, the item is increased by one tier, but the growth cycle has shortened considerably…”
Jiang He mused to himself, and added when his gaze reached the earthen yellow world, “Still, the growth cycle must have something to do with the grade of the mystic item, and the Yellow World Pearl would take hours to ripen.”
Jiang He glanced at Dumbo and the others, instructing, “Each of you pick a planet to cultivate on—I’m going out to check if the Emperors of Gods and Demons have left.”
Arriving outside in a flash, Jiang He found that the cosmic reaches beyond was pitch-black.
The remnants of various godly techniques in space were entangled, and the distinct presence of Saints lingered.
“That’s the Dao presence of the True Lord of Morality and Pure Nothingness… he fought the God Emperor and the Demon Emperor?”
He moved along the battlefield, and had flown over five hundred thousand kilometers when he ran into a powerful Demi-Saint.
It was an Insectoid, and he was absolutely stunned to find Jiang He flying out from the depts of the battlefields.
“Brother…”
“Brother, my foot!”
Jiang He slapped him, killing him right there and there before pulling his corpse into the world in his body, cursing, “An Insectoid, daring to show up in my face? Do you take me for someone to be bullied?!”
After that, Jiang He continued heading outside the battlefield. Along the way, he ran into more cultivators—Demi-Saints, Grand Luo and even Golden Immortals.
Then, he noticed two Golden Immortal daemons from the Three Realms and quickly approached them.
Neither of the daemons recognized Jiang He, but promptly bowed reverently after sensing his oceanic aura, even addressing him as sir.
“I’m not some sir.”
Jiang He said, waving his hand. “You don’t have to be so on guard, I just wanted to ask you two something… what on earth is going on here?”
He had no idea why so many cultivators were here, but the two daemons misunderstood. They were under the impression that Jiang He was some superior being who had just left seclusion, unaware of the great battle before and therefore asked about it.
They promptly went into detail about the God Emperor and the Demon Emperor slaying the prodigy Jiang He, angering the True Lord of Morality who then fought them.
“It really was him!”
Realizing with a start, Jiang He pressed, “What about the other Saints? Was there a war between Saints?”
“All Saints of both sides came, and were engaged in a standoff. However, their auras were tearing the stars apart, and the True Lord of Morality, the God Emperor, and the Demon Emperor all ended up giving up.”
Jiang He stared suspiciously at the Golden Immortal then and exclaimed in surprise, “How did you know? Were you there when it happened?”
“Surely you’re joking, sir.”
The daemon said in embarrassment. “Why would a mere Golden Immortal like me venture to the battlefield proper? I actually heard the story from others.”
The two Golden Immortals then went on to explain how Grand Luo and Demi-Saints had ascended in the battlefield, which left Jiang He taken aback. “Those remaining shockwaves are that impressive? Why didn’t I feel any enlightenment even though I’ve just left the very heart of it?”
He then threw two premium-grade immortal item at the two daemons as their rewards before teleporting away from the battlefield.
***
At the vast Palace of the Gods, the God Emperor, the Demon Emperor and the elites of their respective races were gathered.
They had been in desperate straits because of Jiang He, but his death rallied them. After days of celebration, their respective emperors gathered their respective elites, with the God Emperor giving a speech on his throne.
“Our two races may have suffered much casualties in recent years, and we Emperors had agreed to open our vaults to all talents among to cultivate.
Below his throne, a Demi-Saint asked in confusion whilst on his knees, “Your Majesty, do you mean that us Gods could use the vaults of the Demon Emperor, and vice versa?”
Everyone turned towards the two Emperors, all of them appearing perplexed… everyone knew that the Gods and Demons were at odds against each other before the rise of the Three Realms!
The Gods were born holy, while Demons symbolized darkness, evil, and corruption, just like their very auras and cultivation methods. Both races were disgusted at the sight of one another, let alone cultivate the other’s methods!
So what could any of them do, entering the other Emperor’s vault?
The God Emperor did not offer any explanation, and simply smiled. “You’ll know soon… after the Demon Emperor and I have slain Jiang He of the Three Realms, they would definitely be fuming. Their Grand Luo and Demi-Saints may well wage all-out-war soon, even if their Saints are not fighting.”
“As such, every last individual of our respective races is to be recalled, our realms hence locked down… No one is to move around.”
Just as the God Emperor and the Demon Emperor gave their orders, Jiang He was now close to the Three Realms’ base.
He was about to greet the people inside when the True Lord of Morality’s voice rang in his ear.
“Come to me, but don’t startle the others.”

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?

World Labyrinth
Meet our hero: an average young man with an average life, who ended up dying while working an average job. However, he's a given a chance to see another world at the final crossroads of his old life. The catch... well... he knows there's one. There always is. But, hey, when you're about to die, you take whatever opportunity's provided to you. This is the young man's story in the new world as he learns he can't afford to be average anymore. AUTHOR'S NOTE: I've decided to put this note up due to some comments and ratings left for this ORIGINAL FICTION complaining its boring. This story starts slow and it takes time for things to pick up. Also the MC doesn't start off as superman or become superman magically in two chapters. He also is AVERAGE... so it takes time to build up his character. Starting chapter 14 or so things pick up, but this isn't a pure hack and slash and skills level up story like most of the FF on this site. Just giving you a warning, so you don't end up disappointed and end up having to post large paragraphs complaining about the story... I also post on average every TWO OR THREE DAYS, so you'll get more to read.
