《Lord of All Realms》Chapter 1183: Acknowledgment

Finally, Chu Rui couldn’t suppress his anger anymore, and said with an unpleasant expression, “Ladies and gentlemen, don’t tell me you came here to look for trouble in our sectmaster’s absence.”
Perhaps Chu Rui wouldn’t be so bothered if the Void Spirit Society and Five Elements Sect openly invited others to join their sects.
However, Nie Tian was a Son of the Stars!
Even other important members of the Ancient Fragmentary Star Palace, such as Wei Lai and Yan Zhan, grew indignant at this moment.
WHOOSH!
A figure suddenly appeared in the distant starry river, shining with dazzling starlight.
It was Luo Wanxiang’s dharma idol!
Luo Wanxiang, who had activated his dharma idol, was wreathed in rings of mysterious starlight that looked like the Milky Way, within which numerous fragmentary stars could be seen flickering.
However, both his flesh power and spiritual power fluctuations seemed rather chaotic at this moment.
Upon seeing him, Guan Cong waved at him and let out a whiny cry. “Master!”
Luo Wanxiang flew over in the blink of an eye. Canceling his dharma idol, he presented himself in his true form.
Ji Yuanquan frowned and asked, “What did you run into on your way here, Brother Luo?”
The chubby Chu Rui also took a deep look at him and asked, “What happened?”
“I was ambushed on my way here.” With these words, Luo Wanxiang ran his gaze over Ji Yuanquan, Hou Chulan, and the other experts from the Void Spirit Society and Five Elements Sect. “Why are you here?”
Before they said anything, Guan Cong rushed over to Luo Wanxiang’s side, and explained that both Ji Yuanquan and Hou Chulan had invited Nie Tian to join their sects on behalf of their sectmasters.
Not only did Ji Yuanquan not deny it, but he even said with a faint smile, “That’s our sectmaster’s will.”
Hou Chulan join the conversation. “All of our five sect heads gave me their word too. As long as Nie Tian agrees, we’ll have a place for him in the Five Elements Sect.”
Luo Wanxiang’s face twitched.

Calm and composed, Nie Tian stepped forward and bowed. “Greetings, Vice Sectmaster.”
Then, without any hesitation, he said, “The grand elder suggested that I give the Heavenly Stellar Stream to Sikong Cuo, and I did. He told me that, considering the preciousness of the Heavenly Stellar Stream, you’re willing to compensate me with some of the precious treasures in your possession.
“So may I ask when you plan to honor your agreement with the grand elder and give me those treasures?”
Nie Tian’s eyes glittered with a determined, fearless light as he looked directly into Luo Wanxiang’s eyes.
Luo Wanxiang frowned and remained silent, as if he was pondering an answer.
The Saint domain experts from the Five Elements Sect and many other Qi warriors whispered to each other with surprised looks on their faces, as if this was the first time they had learned about this arrangement regarding the Heavenly Stellar Stream.
“So the grand elder communicated with Nie Tian and made another arrangement with the Heavenly Stellar Stream? That’s an Immortal grade divine tool! The treasures that can be used to trade for it must be extraordinary!”
“No wonder no one had a problem with the Heavenly Stellar Stream merging with Sikong Cuo.”
“But since Mo Heng still hasn’t returned...”
However, none of the important members of the Ancient Fragmentary Star Palace, including Wei Lai, Yan Zhan, Fang Yuan, and Wang Meijia, seemed surprised.
Apparently, they all knew about this arrangement.
Luo Wanxiang nodded and said honestly, “Grand Elder Mo and I did come to an agreement. However, there are still some details that we haven’t decided on. So only after he returns will we be able to determine what I’m giving you.”
Since many members of the Ancient Fragmentary Star Palace knew about this deal between him and Mo Heng, he didn’t deny it.
The method he adopted was very simple: drag things out. As long as Mo Heng didn’t return, he wouldn’t give Nie Tian the treasures he was supposed to give him.
Nie Tian’s eyes grew cold.
“This can wait.” With these words, Luo Wanxiang snorted disdainfully and pointed at Master Blood Spirit, Li Langfeng, and the members of the Blood Sect. “What are they doing in your territory? Don’t you know that Master Blood Spirit is the current sectmaster of the Blood Spirit Sect?”

Here came the tough questions.
“I know that. So?” Nie Tian said in a calm voice.
“The Blood Spirit Sect is a crooked sect,” Luo Wanxiang said with a harsh, accusing tone. “The incantations they practice are brutal and inhumane. They...”
However, before he could finish, Nie Tian snorted an said, “I myself practiced the Blood Spirit Sect’s Blood Refining Incantation, but I didn’t see anything wrong with it. It’s an incantation that allows cultivators to refine spirit beast and outsider blood, and then use their flesh auras to strengthen themselves. What’s wrong with that?
“Humans’ flesh auras are far too weak. They didn’t harm anyone. Only because their cultivation method is different from ours, we have to kill each and every one of them?
“The incantations we practice allow us to channel the spiritual Qi of Heaven and Earth and energies of different attributes into ourselves, and condense them into spiritual power cores. Meanwhile, disciples of the Blood Spirit Sect channel spirit beast and outsider flesh auras into themselves and condense them into flesh power cores. We’re essentially using the same cultivation method. The only difference is our source of power.
“They’re not mutilating their own kind. What makes their cultivation method so unacceptable?”
Nie Tian’s words resonated through the silent crowd.
After he finished, many, except Luo Wanxiang’s subordinates, seemed absorbed in thought.
Among them, Master Blood Spirit, Li Jing, and the others from the Blood Sect were the most excited, Master Blood Spirit especially.
He looked unblinkingly at Nie Tian and made a deep bow, trembling as he did.
Even though he didn’t say a word, everyone could see in his eyes how deeply touched he was.
Nie Tian didn’t give up a single drop of his Blood Essence this time. However, with these words, he had won Master Blood Spirit’s heartfelt acknowledgment.
From now on, he would stand unswervingly by Nie Tian.
What Nie Tian had just said was what he had said countless times to others during the past centuries, and what the former sectmaster of the Blood Spirit Sect had said to those who had gathered in front of their sect, hoping to destroy them.
However, neither of their arguments had made a difference.
Ji Yuanquan from the Void Spirit Society took the initiative to break the silence and say, “Nie Tian isn’t wrong. The sectmaster of the Heaven Span Pavilion initiated the operation to wipe out the Blood Spirit Sect. In fact, we discussed it within our sect, and didn’t think the Blood Spirit Sect was as unacceptable as the other sects.”
Hou Chulan joined the conversation. “Our five sect heads also talked about this before I came here. They also think that it was unnecessary to eliminate the Blood Spirit Sect. What we did was a bit too extreme, and we could have adopted a different approach.”
Master Blood Spirit grew even more excited.
If he could win the Void Spirit Society and Five Elements Sect’s acknowledgment, it would mean that the Blood Sect would get to live on, and be treated fairly in the Blood Spirit Sect’s name in Nie Tian’s territory.
This had been his dream, for the Blood Spirit Sect to endure.
He knew that if it was just him, even if he entered the God domain someday, he still wouldn’t be able to rectify the Blood Spirit Sect’s name.
Who would have thought that the Void Spirit Society and the Five Elements Sect would approve of the Blood Spirit Sect’s existence so easily after Nie Tian said these words?
If the Ancient Fragmentary Star Palace could come to the same opinion on this matter, then the Blood Spirit Sect would finally be able to cross their name from the list of crooked sects.
If three of the four great sects came to an agreement, the Heaven Span Pavilion would have no reason to oppose their decision.
It would be a dream come true for Master Blood Spirit if the Blood Spirit Sect could have its name rectified.

Contact Through Voided Lenses
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Edit: Fixed some inaccuracies in the synopsis. The void is a vast unexplored ocean filled with various wonders and dangers all waiting to be explored by those brave enough to travel and record. Many souls do find themselves brave enough to face the vast distances, the various risks to personal safety and do the hundreds of task required on a craft. However, at times the void itself can be boring with absolutely nothing to do but as time pass and more and better technology is reached, things got better. The various trips got faster, communications became faster than light and you can be home to see your loved ones after only months now. Through the various planets whether rocky or gaseous, the various stars whether small or giant, the various systems both eerily similar or completely alien. As part of an expeditionary scientific exploratory survey craft, one could see that the void offers no reprieve from all the discoveries and wonders. At times, it can feel empty and silent where no soul can hear you scream and at others it can be overwhelming with sudden phenomenon that can overwhelm the brightest of minds. The void itself is a truly fascinating ocean where one must chart the various islands or drown in its deadly tidal waves. But the question still remained no matter how you try to hide it in of itself… is there truly other intelligent life out there? Are we alone in this ocean? Those very questions still haunt the minds of those on the crafts themselves as they brace for every jump ready for the unknown and the known. Many would try to explain that yes there is other intelligent life out there whilst other still say no after 2 centuries of continuous flight out of the home system. Still, those are questions that bury deep in the minds of the crew and those at home as the voidcraft jumps to a system with a single yellow star orbited by 8 other planets with one crowning blue jewel being the 3rd closest with its 5 oceans and 7 continents, a planet called Dirt which is inhabited by a primitive species called Humanity. Hello, author here and this is my newest dive into writing particularly for the Writathon currently in progress being my first one. I hope you give me story a try but in case you still want more information on what you’re getting into, below are some pointers about the story itself. First Contact: CTVL is a story about a first contact scenario between an advanced alien civilization and a slightly more advanced modern day humanity on their planet called Dirt. Characters: The story will take place mainly on the perspective of the alien visitors themselves though there will be human POV characters who will show how the rest of humanity react through media and forums. Action: It won’t be an actual alien invasion but you have to see for yourself how well first contact went. Sci-Fi: I will be very forward here, I WILL bend the rules of physics in order to add in parts of the plot and there WILL be parts that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Theme: It will be a brooding story talking about the futility of pe… Just kidding, it’s mostly wholesome stuff to be honest here. Alien: The aliens themselves will… actually why should I tell you, you have to go and read it to find out what the aliens are though I will draw a few things here and there to aid in the process. Extra tidbit: If you are a grammar nazi or someone who really wants a realistic scifi story... this story is probably not for you at all. Anyways, that’s pretty much all I can say before I spoil something major of the plot itself, the story is slice of life so make sure that type of story is what you like because I am terrible with anything else as I found out, anyways, have a good time everyone and good luck to the other Writathon participants.
