It was actually worth it to use Gluttony on an SS-rank weapon.

First off, he had infinite Stamina!

Transcendent Blade and Mad Wind's Sword cost a ton of MP and Stamina, but now, he'd be able to use them without holding back.

His belt's 'Eternal Spring' ability gave him enough MP to use these skills as much as he wanted.

Demon Sword Ubist's attack power had also gone up from 1,513 to 2,013.

To add to that, 'Rip Apart' would activate more frequently now!

Lastly, the Hell Greatsword had four item effects.

Awful Pain, Evil God That Dwells In Your Back, Soul Absorption, and Annihilation Spear. It had four tremendous abilities, and their effects were as follows:

[Awful Pain]

All of your attacks inflict awful pain onto your opponents.

[Evil God That Dwells In Your Back]

Activating this ability will create a four-armed silhouette of the Evil God that will assist you in battle for 10 minutes. The Evil God's silhouette can also cast four different curses. Cooldown: 1 day. Mp Cost: None.

[Soul Absorption]

Absorbs the souls of the enemies you kill. Each soul increases your maximum HP by 1% for 30 seconds. HP can be increased by a maximum of 1,000%.

Plus, every soul absorbed extends the duration of Evil God That Dwells In Your Back by 10 seconds.

[Annihilation Spear]

Unleashes an energy blast shaped like a spear that annihilates everything in its path. This attack possesses tremendous destructive and penetrative power. Cooldown: 10 minutes. MP Cost: 10,000.

Kang Oh activated Evil God That Dwells In Your Back.

He could extend its duration with Soul Absorption, and there was plenty of prey for him to choose from, so using it now would be best.

The jet-black energy transformed into a four-armed silhouette.

"Do you think that'll scare me!?" Tainos swung his double-bladed axe at Kang Oh.

Whoosh!

That was one of the top three most dangerous sounds he'd ever heard from a weapon. It wasn't extremely fast. It did, however, act as a sort of vacuum that sucked him in.

When he became a Master Barbarian Warrior, Tainos created this secret move.

Herculean Whirlwind!

It was a passive skill. Whenever Tainos attacked, his enemies would be sucked into his weapon.

Tainos was well aware of his weakness. He had a large build, and he was neither agile nor flexible, so his movements were simple and he was weak to change.

Thus, he created a secret move that would catch his opponents for him.

Kang Oh made no attempts of blocking or dodging it, and merely swung Ubist at him.

Bam!

A blunt sound rang out.

Both Kang Oh and Tainos were shocked.

'He wasn't pushed back?'

'As expected of Tainos.'

Though Kang Oh's abilities had been increased threefold, Tainos was able to match him in strength.

This was the first time Tainos had found someone equal to him in pure physical strength.

Then...

"Tainos, get out of the way!" Irene yelled.

Everyone in the Empire Guild acknowledged her leadership abilities. When Dukeram wasn't there, she was the one who ordered their troops.

Tainos backed off, sporting a regretful expression. The nearby members of the Glacier Squad pointed their spears at Kang Oh.

'Not going to happen!'

Tainos would be a good meat shield.

Kang Oh rushed forward and glued himself to Tainos. Tainos swung his axe at him.

Herculean Strike!

He unleashed fierce energy, which could crush a rock into fine powder, and Kang Oh was dragged in by a strange vacuum force.

However, the strange pull wouldn't prove a problem for him, especially since Gluttony was active. He swung Sarahoff without any issues.

Slash!

Bam!

Tainos was pushed back three steps.

"Spear Strike!" Irene yelled coldly. Then, the Glacier Squad immediately shot fierce energy at Kang Oh.

Mad Wind's Sword!

Kang Oh repeatedly swung his twin demon swords.

The four-armed silhouette worked diligently.

His defense was absolutely perfect. He sliced through or blocked every single energy blast.

At the same time, the silhouette unleashed four different colored rings.

The red ring was Fear, the purple ring was Age, the yellow ring was a healing debuff, and the green ring was Bad Luck.

The Fear Curse brought fear and terror into the hearts of his enemies, while the Age Curse reduced all of their abilities.

The healing debuff nullified any healing or HP regeneration, while the Bad Luck Curse reduced the activation rate of skills or magic.

These four curses went far and wide.

They worked perfectly.

Most of his enemies were affected by two curses, while some of the Glacier Squad was affected by all four.

Irene, Tainos, and Moby Dick proved why they were Masters; they weren't affected by a single one.

"Priests, dispel the curses. The rest of you, ready your Spear Strikes! Don't panic." Irene reacted immediately.

Kang Oh kicked off the floor. His target: Tainos!

Gluttony would only last for 30 minutes. He had to make the best of that time.

'I'm killing the captains!'

Transcendent Blade!

He swung Sarahoff so fast that Tainos couldn't react to his neck being cut.

Bam!

Shards of light burst from the wound.

"Kuhahk!" Tainos cried out. He was completely shocked; he had never felt this level of pain since he'd started playing Arth.

Kang Oh continuously swung Ubist and Sarahoff one after another.

Mad Wind's Sword!

There was no reason to hold back. He had infinite Stamina and plenty of MP to spare, so why would he!?

Rip Apart!

Black shards of light burst from Tainos's body.

The Evil God's silhouette barraged him with attacks too. It continuously raked Tainos's body with its claws.

After that, Darkness Strike activated. A jet-black wave in the shape of a ferocious beast came flying at him, and right after, a purple bird shaped wave followed it.

Countless shards of light fell from Tainos's body. He gritted his teeth. It was so painful that he was getting pissed off.

"Kang Oooooh!"

Madman's Fury!

Tainos randomly swung his double-bladed axe. It was truly indiscriminate. However, the axe unleashed tremendous shockwaves with every swing.

At the same time...

"Spear Strike!"

Countless energy blasts came flying at Kang Oh once more.

He had no choice but to raise his swords and briefly fall back.

Then...

His back felt cold. A spiked mace came flying at him from behind.

It was Moby Dick.

Kang Oh ducked, and then immediately turned around and thrust Sarahoff.

Moby Dick raised his shield.

Clang.

He blocked it easily.

The Evil God's arms came flying at him next. However, Moby Dick's shield skills were second to none. He tilted his shield, dispersing the force of its attacks, and blocked them perfectly.

"Kuhahk!" Tainos let out a bestial cry, and swung his axe at Kang Oh.

Bam!

His axe slammed into Kang Oh's shoulder. Huge shards of light exploded from it.

That wasn't all. Moby Dick swung his mace at him from behind.

Kang Oh had to make a decision.

Does he dodge it or take it head on?

'There really is nothing free in this world.'

Instead of dodging Moby Dick's mace, he extended Ubist and stabbed Tainos's body.

Annihilation Spear!

The Hellfire Greatsword's special ability exploded from the tip of Ubist's blade.

Whir!

Thick, ominous green energy whirled around Kang Oh's jet-black blade, which then pierced through Tainos's body.

It had incredible penetrative power!

Tainos's eyes widened from the incredible pain combined with the sudden loss of so much HP.

Then, Moby Dick's mace struck Kang Oh's body.

Although he'd expected it, he wasn't able to withstand the force of the blow and fell to the floor.

However, he soon stood up.

'It wasn't that bad!'

While Moby Dick's defense was incredibly high, his attack power wasn't anything to write home about. Because he was using Gluttony, he was able to take it without difficulty.

However...

"Spear Strike!"

It was annoying to deal with three people who specialized in offense, defense, and leadership.

While his blades and the Evil God's arms blocked the barrage, Kang Oh pulled out a scroll from his inventory.

'It feels like a waste, but... Now's not the time to be stingy.'

He immediately ripped the scrolls. There were four in total.

After that, four magic circles appeared on the ground.

First up was the Platinum Lion, Violf. It was followed by the Monster Wyvern, Wakaiser.

He had summoned his soul dungeon guardians.

The remaining two guardians were from soul dungeons he'd bought.

The Iron Knight, Redman, and the Monster Elephant, Indra.

Redman was a 4 meter tall golem, which was covered in steel armor.

Indra was a white elephant that was much larger than Redman. There were sharp spikes all over its body like a shark's serrated teeth.

"Kill them all!"

"Understood!"

Kyaaahk!

Violf, Redman, and Indra went their separate ways and rampaged about.

The Platinum Lion reflected the enemies' ranged attacks back at them, and bit or trampled on them.

The Iron Knight released metal fragments from its body. Indra was like an unstoppable bulldozer that swept through everything.

Wakaiser soared into the air. Then, it released its Poison Breath, grabbed enemies off the ground, and ate them.

Meanwhile, Teynos used Tsunami of Vengeance and swept through any nearby enemies.

Tasha also took this chance to create countless blood harpoons and shot them everywhere.

"Let's see who wins in the end."

Dukeram had his Invincible Army, but Kang Oh had his soul dungeon guardians.

There was a sense of urgency on the battlefield now.

"Deal with the closest guardians first. Don't panic! We need the help of the sand army. Contact Commander Dukeram." Irene gave order after order.

Tainos and Moby Dick's target hadn't changed.

Kang Oh!

Tainos rushed at Kang Oh and swung his axe. It seemed like Moby Dick was going to try something with his shield too.

Frozen Spike!

Sharp frozen spikes protruded from the ground in front of him.

Then, Kang Oh leapt off of one of them. He dodged Tainos's attack and then aimed for his head.

However, Moby Dick's shield got in the way. He had thrown his shield at him.

"Tch." Kang Oh crossed his swords, and pushed the shield over his head. At the very least, the Evil God's silhouette managed to attack Tainos.

But Tainos wouldn't just sit there and take it. He swung his axe at Kang Oh once more.

Bam!

Kang Oh slammed into the floor, his body releasing shards of light.

Then, Moby Dick's shield came flying at him like a homing missile.

This was Moby Dick's secret move, Flying Shield. It was incredibly similar to Weapon Bombardment in terms of application and power!

Boom!

The shield struck the ground, resulting in a huge explosion and a large crater in the ground.

However, Kang Oh was nowhere to be found.

"Where did he go?" Tainos tilted his head.

"He used Abyss Transfer. Be careful; he could show up anywhere!" Moby Dick yelled.

The Empire Guild kept collecting information on Kang Oh. Thus, they were aware of how Kang Oh's Abyss Transfer worked.

Kang Oh reappeared behind Tainos.

"Behind you!" Moby Dick urgently yelled.

Tainos turned around and swung his axe. The two exchanged blows several times.

Moby Dick forcefully threw his shield.

The Evil God's silhouette blocked the shield for him, allowing him to focus entirely on Tainos.

There was no way Tainos could beat Kang Oh in a one-on-one fight. The gap between them was too great.

Mad Wind's Sword!

Opening, opening, opening!

Kang Oh's demon swords continuously ripped through Tainos's body. Red and black shards of light fell from his body like a waterfall.

"Tainos!"

Once his Flying Shield was blocked, Moby Dick charged in.

However...

Slash!

Demon Sword Ubist sliced through Tainos's neck.

Thud.

Tainos fell to the floor. It was as if a giant tree had just been felled. Kang Oh had pierced through his heart.

It was definitely game over for him.

With this, Kang Oh had killed two of the Empire Guild's captains.
