《Everlasting》Chapter 1180 Magiris Blackwater

Heng Ri was a variant wyrm from the Extreme Yang Star Region, born with the power of extreme yang. Due to that, he possessed a mighty fleshly body and formidable blood energy. This attack from him was formed by compressing the power of extreme yang to its limits. Even before advancing to the Gold Immortal stage, Heng Ri had been able to kill off several half-step Gold Immortals with this move. That said, this was his first time using it against a Gold Immortal.
In the face of the destructive radiance, Chen Feng and the Dark Kirin swiftly backed away. At the same time, they kept firing out even more arrays to stop the Gold Immortal from fleeing.
Wretched shrieks kept spreading out from the light. On Chen Feng’s end, even though he was already pushing his eye technique to its limits, he was still incapable of seeing what was happening there. Even so, he could sense that the Gold Immortal’s vitality was rapidly dwindling.
Finally, the golden light gradually grew faint and Chen Feng was able to see what was transpiring inside. The Gold Immortal’s body had disappeared, leaving only a clump of golden energy and a somewhat damaged sword hovering there.
“He’s still not dead. This fellow is quite the character.” Chen Feng chuckled.
Next, a golden beam of light abruptly burst out from the place, desirous of fleeing. However, Chen Feng was quick to react. The Longevity Wings flapped just once to stop the golden clump of light and the Undying Heaven Sword swung forward, smacking it to send it tumbling backwards. He then rushed forward and grabbed it.
It was an Ageless law.
Turning, he saw that the Dark Kirin had also stopped another Ageless law. As for the damaged sword, Heng Ri had taken it.
But they were somewhat careless. Golden-coloured flames enveloped their surroundings and motes of golden light charged forward in every direction. Although the three of them did their very best to stop those motes of golden light, one of them managed to make its way through the dimension’s barrier before disappearing into the void.
“We were careless. To think that a minor fragment of his primary spirit would be able to escape.” The Dark Kirin shook his head and sighed.
“The other party is an Ageless Gold Immortal. Given our current level of strength, completely destroying him will be difficult. The fact that we could do so much is already a decent feat. Besides, only a minor fragment of his primary spirit managed to escape. Whether or not he can recover is still up in the air. Even if he does manage to cultivate himself back to his former level, so what? We’ll kill him all the same,” Chen Feng said with a smile.
“Yes. Honestly, I am hoping that a second Gold Immortal would come. And then, a third…” The Dark Kirin’s will to fight soared. Thanks to the previous fight, his cultivation base had experienced a minor breakthrough.
“Hopefully.” Chen Feng merely nodded. He was actually not as eager as the Dark Kirin. The battles he had to face in recent years was enough. What he needed next was time to stabilize his cultivation base.

After returning to the Primordial Mountain Range, Heng Ri went into cultivation retreat again. As for the Dark Kirin, he went off of his own. Chen Feng then spent some time managing the affairs of the alliance before also entering a cultivation retreat.
This time, Chen Feng worked on absorbing the clump of energy containing a million years’ worth of cultivation from a half-step Gold Immortal that he had obtained in the past. Before this, he could only absorb strands of the power at a time. At present, however, Chen Feng already possessed the ability to kill off half-step Gold Immortals. He could even devour the power of a Gold Immortal. Due to that, this power of a half-step Gold Immortal was no longer that formidable in Chen Feng’s eyes. He used but one year’s time to purify and devour all of the power.
Several years later, Chen Feng ended his cultivation session. He saw that the Six Daos Alliance was on the right track. Next, Chen Feng relayed some instructions before heading over to the Mountains and Rivers Domain. It was also the place where the Iron Blood Alliance and Mountains and Rivers Alliance used to occupy.
In the initial plan that Chen Feng had drawn up, he shouldn’t have to head out for the time being. He needed to cultivate with peace of mind. The same was true for the Six Daos Alliance, which needed time to recuperate. However, due to various chaotic situations and pressures, Chen Feng had no choice but to take action.
According to Xue Luosha, the other party should be from the Celestial Planes. Only, which one? This time, Chen Feng had taken action alone. He did not notify the Dark Kirin. As the ruler of the entire Dark Plane, the Dark Kirin was even busier than Chen Feng.
Everything proceeded smoothly and Chen Feng was able to figure out the other party’s background the moment he arrived at the Mountains and Rivers Domain.
So, they are from the Celestial Malla Plane. Judging by this aura, it might be my old friend. Only, it’s strange. Is this guy feeling too bored? Why did he run over to the Immortal Plane? An odd expression appeared on Chen Feng’s face.
“Halt!” Suddenly, two Heavenly Immortals appeared up in the sky to block Chen Feng’s path.
“Oh?” Chen Feng raised his eyebrows.
“This territory belongs to our Blackwater Alliance. Friend, please leave,” one of them said.
“Blackwater Alliance. It really is that kid.” Chen Feng nodded.
“Who are you? Why aren’t you leaving already?”
It was then that the two Heavenly Immortals noticed something amiss. Without exchanging a single word, the two of them attacked simultaneously and black waters surged forward to engulf Chen Feng. Only, two hands emerged from the black waters to easily grab the necks of the two Heavenly Immortals.
“Magiris, are you not going to come out and meet me?” Chen Feng’s soul power swept forward like billowing waves of water.
Sou! Sou! Sou! Sou! Sou! Sou! Sou! Sou! Sou! Sou! Sou!
Cultivators kept rushing forward. In but the blink of an eye, over 100 cultivators had appeared. They all occupied the most strategic positions there and cast predatory eyes at Chen Feng, ready to attack at any moment.

“Ha ha ha! So, an old friend has come.” The surrounding space suddenly shook and a rapidly-spinning vortex appeared. The laughing voice had come from this vortex. Immediately, Chen Feng felt as though there were countless steel needles piercing his soul.
This fellow’s cultivation base is quite good. In terms of combat power, he should be stronger than me. With just the voice, Chen Feng was able to gauge some details of the other person.
A young man in black walked out from the vortex. He had quite the elegant facial features, but his eyes were as deep as the ocean and anyone looking at them would become lost. After seeing Chen Feng, the young man’s eyes twinkled and he swiftly moved forward to hug Chen Feng.
“Should I call you Longevity Celestial or Chen Feng?” This young man was Chen Feng’s playmate back when he was still a child, Magiris Blackwater, from the Celestial Malla Plane’s Blackwater Tribe.
“Up to you. After not seeing you for so many years, you are already a half-step Gold Immortal while I am just a half-step Heavenly Immortal,” Chen Feng said, smiling. Looking at his playmate from the past caused Chen Feng’s heart to stir. The last time they met, both were still children. After a million years, both had gone through a world-shaking transformation. Chen Feng himself had been uncertain if they could continue to be friends. At present, though, sensing the sincerity from Magiris, Chen Feng grew at ease.
“I’ll call you Longevity Celestial, then. Although you are now just a half-step Heavenly Immortal, your combat power is not low. I recently heard that you easily defeated several half-step Gold Immortals. Receiving that news sure shocked me. How about it? You wanna have a go?” Magiris said with a grin.
“What is this? Are you thinking of paying me back for the times when I bullied you when we were children?” Chen Feng laughed.
“Damn straight!” Magiris revealed eagerness as he replied, light already flowing within his eyes.
“Don’t you sense anything strange?” The corners of Chen Feng’s lips suddenly curled up and his eyes turned into two rapidly-spinning black holes.
“A sneak attack! You’re still so despicable-” Magiris cried out as he finally sensed his surroundings turning black. He then found himself within a wondrous space. There was no up or down, no left or right. Neither was there the flow of time. It was as though this was the most fundamental space, one that had yet to undergo the primordial beginning.
What a formidable eye technique! This fellow! Magiris was taken aback, but he did not panic.
Swiftly, all of the surrounding darkness rapidly gathered up before flowing into Magiris’ eyes. As for Chen Feng, he kept snickering. It was as though nothing had happened.
“Unexpectedly, you have cultivated your eye technique to this level. The Divine Eyes of Heavenly Insight. It has fused with the Magic Eyes of Darkness and some other items. Looks like you’ve had quite the amazing adventure. On the other hand, I was stuck in the Celestial Malla Plane all this time,” Magiris said with a bitter smile.
“Aren’t you out now?” After the clash of their eye techniques, the two stopped fighting.
“I have a reason for coming out this time.”
As they chatted, the two of them moved into a grand palace. One glance was enough for Chen Feng to tell that this palace was at the Divine tier. Additionally, the black and malevolent energies emanating from this palace informed Chen Feng that Magiris had personally brought this palace over.
Looking around, Chen Feng could not stop himself from snickering.
“Are you laughing at me?” Looking at the expression on Chen Feng’s face, Magiris said, his voice containing a note of annoyance.
“Yes, I’m laughing at you. Given your cultivation talent, you could already be considered as a top character in the Celestial Malla Plane. How is it that you have to live in a place like this?” Chen Feng’s divine sense had long since scanned the surrounding area, going all the way up to a radius of 50,000 kilometres. Thus, he was able to gain a certain level of understanding regarding this force under Magiris. Although their numbers and combat power were quite good, there was no real expert amongst them. In other words, Magiris did not have any proper bodyguards beside him.
“Do you actually not understand why this is happening?” Magiris cast a look of surprise at Chen Feng.
The words caught Chen Feng by surprise and he swiftly understood.
“Ha ha ha! I actually failed to consider that earlier. After all these years absent from the Celestial Planes, I actually forgot so many things. How about it? How confident are you in becoming the Young Chieftain of the Blackwater Tribe?” Chen Feng asked with a smile.
“I am the Young Master of the Blackwater Tribe. No one can replace me.” Light flashed across Magiris’ eyes.
“You are not the only Young Master in the Blackwater Tribe. In the future, though, there can only be one Chieftain. At present, you are only at the half-step Gold Immortal stage. This rate of cultivation is actually very fast. And yet, competing for the position of Chieftain will still be very difficult for you.” The situation of the Celestial Malla Plane gradually became clear to Chen Feng.
“You’re right. Some of my opponents are very strong. In fact, some have already advanced to the Gold Immortal stage.” Magiris nodded, his face maintaining a calm look.
“Do you need my help?” Chen Feng asked.
“You take care of your own ass first. Your situation is even worse than mine.” Magiris laughed.
“My situation is different from yours. Do not forget, I have the entire Boundless Corps behind me. Besides, the ones after me are different from the ones after you.” Chen Feng shook his head.
“It’s all the same. Everyone is simply pursuing greater heights of power,” Magiris retorted.
“Alright, let’s not talk about that anymore. Let’s talk about some happier stuff. Right now, your territory is too close to my territory. Tell me what’s your plan.” Chen Feng then waved his hand and changed the subject.
