“You’ve actually recovered to this level?!” The pupils of the Gold Immortal contracted. It would appear that his fears had come true. That was even more so after seeing the Longevity Tower fuse with the artifact spirit. He could not stop the feeling of fear from growing within his heart.

Tower’s hand gently beckoned and the Soul Demise Bow transformed into a stream of light before flying into his hand.

“You’re just an insignificant Ageless Gold Immortal. You dare think of obtaining me? You must have taken the wrong medicine.” After Tower said that, he shook the Soul Demise Bow slightly and the longbow’s bowstring automatically pulled itself and an even more outrageous-looking arrow was formed.

The Gold Immortal did not even have the time to react to the loss of the Soul Demise Bow before realizing that the longbow was targeting him. He knew then that escape was an impossibility. Only by attacking would he have a chance of surviving. Thus, he gnashed his teeth and brought out a sword. Surprisingly, it was also a mid-grade Divine artifact. The Gold Immortal thrust the sword towards Tower.

“Another mid-grade Divine artifact. Not bad.” In the face of the incoming attack, Tower stretched his hand, which seemingly elongated through an endless distance to grab hold of the sword. Meanwhile, the Soul Demise Bow twanged and its arrow arrived before the Gold Immortal’s glabella.

Seeing the Gold Immortal run away, Tower then used his hands to pull the Soul Demise Bow. At the same time, a drop of blood appeared to fuse with the longbow.

The sword in the Gold Immortal’s hand was blasted away.

A second arrow, also fused with a drop of blood, flew forward. This time, it pierced the Gold Immortal’s body.

“The blood essence of a Gold Immortal!” the Gold Immortal cried out in fear. Flames then burned all over his body and his speed doubled. He was practically tearing his way through space as he fled.

Wielding the Soul Demise Bow, Tower moved leisurely after the Gold Immortal. The third arrow flew forward. Once again, this arrow also pierced the Gold Immortal’s body.

“You want to kill me? It won’t be that easy!” the Gold Immortal shouted and the power within him began turning turbulent. Even his soul imprint was undergoing a transformation.

“You want to leave? Not so fast.” Tower sneered and the fourth arrow flew out before blowing up all of a sudden, transforming into 13 mini arrows. The 13 mini arrows struck every part of the Gold Immortal’s body, locking down his essence, energy and soul power. And so, his attempt to blow up his body failed.

“What a pity! I had to waste so much Gold Immortal blood essence. Thankfully, I managed to capture a Gold Immortal as well.” Taking a step forward, Tower appeared before the Gold Immortal. Next, the Longevity Chains flew out to tie up the half-dead Gold Immortal before keeping him inside the Longevity Tower.

After doing that, though, Tower did not leave. Instead, he pulled the Soul Demise Bow again. This time, three drops of Gold Immortal’s blood essence and the Longevity Tower’s power fused with the longbow before an arrow streaked forward to disappear into the depths of the starry space.

Suddenly, something blew up somewhere far away and the resulting shockwaves destroyed an entire galaxy. At the same time, a Gold Immortal who was there cried out wretchedly before jumping into the void, disappearing from sight.

Elsewhere, at another location far, faraway from the Longevity Tower, another Gold Immortal silently disappeared.

Tower’s eyes swept around, seeing through everything. The formidable atmosphere of coercion caused all the living creatures beneath his gaze to shiver.

It felt as though a high amount of wicked energy was spraying out from them.

“You’re a living person?” Chen Feng was somewhat surprised.

“Ha ha ha! You sure know how to say some amusing words. For me to be able to talk to you here, it naturally means I am a living person,” Demon Monarch Wickedness replied and a sceptre appeared in his hand. Seeing the sceptre, Chen Feng’s heart gave a thump. He had realized who this person was.

“Demon Monarch Wickedness. The Wicked Sceptre,” Chen Feng said.

“Tsk, tsk. Unexpectedly, there is still someone who knows my name. How unexpected! Still, you are from the Longevity Clan. Moreover, you are also a member of the imperial family. That is understandable.”

Despite the smile on the other party’s face, Chen Feng dared not let his guard down at all. Additionally, as their conversation continued, the feeling of danger within Chen Feng only grew increasingly strong.
