Additionally, according to Chen Feng’s speculation, given his level of strength, not even a million years would be enough for him to fully devour the power behind the wall.

I can only resort to some other methods. Thinking of that, Chen Feng’s divine sense then extended into void space. In the beginning, Chen Feng had been worried that the space here would restrict his power. However, it did not take long before he succeeded in establishing a faint connection with the Longevity Tower.

I actually managed to contact Tower! Looks like the Longevity Tower is still in the Immortal Plane. Chen Feng grew excited.

“What’s the matter, kid. You in danger again?” Part of Tower’s consciousness was transmitted over, albeit intermittently.

“No.”

“If that’s not it, don’t disturb me. I am not in a good spot right now. Some brats are chasing me.”

Despite the casual way Tower was talking, Chen Feng knew that the situation was certainly not that simple.

“Something’s up. I found a wondrous space here containing a strange power. I’m thinking it might be useful for you.” After saying that, Chen Feng attempted to send some of the power over, but he failed.

Tower then grew silent for a moment. The link between them was still patchy.

Finally, an invisible passageway made its way over and the connection between Chen Feng and the Longevity Tower stabilized.

“Let me see what kind of power this is.”

The link between the two had been reinforced by the Longevity Tower’s power. Next, the power behind the wall surged forward, going through a special spatial passageway to instantly enter the Longevity Tower. Chen Feng could sense it. The amount of power sucked out from the wall in one breath’s worth of time would have taken him 10,000 years to devour.

“This is a power from another Immortal Region. It also contains the essence power of extra-terrestrial creatures of chaos. Also, it would appear that there are some other types of power mixed in as well.” Making its way through the lengthy distance of space, Tower’s consciousness communicated with Chen Feng.

“Is it useful to you?” That was what Chen Feng cared about the most.

“Yes, very much so. It just so happens I can use it to deal with my current situation. With this power, I can turn the tables and kill off my opponents instead. Though, there needs to be enough of this power here.”

The Longevity Tower then extracted the power non-stop. As it did so, Chen Feng was once again able to sense the vastness of the power.

Thanks to Tower’s words, Chen Feng was finally able to sense the auras of extra-terrestrial creatures of chaos within this power. It was a very strong power. Unfortunately, as it had fused with other types of power, it became somewhat weaker.

After who knows how long, the rate at which the Longevity Tower devoured the power slowed down.

“The danger has been resolved for now.” A formidable power was then transmitted into Chen Feng’s body.

“The Ageless laws of half-step Gold Immortals. Quality wise, they are far inferior to genuine Ageless laws. Still, they are just right for me. Tower, how many half-step Gold Immortals have you killed?”

“Not many, around 10 or so. Damn it, Gold Immortals have come!” Next, even more power was extracted from the wall and Tower stopped talking to Chen Feng.

“Something’s happening! Chen Feng is linking up to a mysterious entity. A great deal of the power behind the wall is being drained away!” The Dao Monarchs were quick to discover the abnormal situation within the cave.

In the beginning, they had wanted to stop it only to quickly discover that their divine senses were incapable of entering the cave. Shocked, they stopped their attempts.

“Did the other party intervene?”

“Doesn’t seem like it. It feels like the power behind the wall. Everyone, do not interfere. This action from Chen Feng might bring about a change. Who knows? He might really be able to find the clues to the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos.”

The connection between Chen Feng and Tower came to a halt for a moment. After several months, it finally reconnected.

“Tower, how are you?” Chen Feng asked anxiously.

“The danger has passed.”

Pondering for a moment, Chen Feng then said, “I want to contact my clones.”

“No problem.”

This time, due to the addition of the power behind the wall, the Longevity Tower’s power rose, allowing its abilities to become even stronger. It did not take long before Chen Feng established a stable connection with his two clones.

“It is very strange. However, those are all rumours. The most important issue now is to see if the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos is behind this wall. If it’s not, I will leave after devouring a certain amount of the power here. Although the power here is quite good, I cannot keep on staying here.”

“Let me check.”

Following that, Chen Feng felt his divine sense abruptly becoming ten times stronger. Next, it entered the space behind the wall. It kept advancing, occasionally spreading out to scan its surroundings.

The deeper Chen Feng ventured into this space, the more unstable the connection between them became. Chen Feng had long since lost contact with his clones.
