《Everlasting》Chapter 1153 Six Daos Sword Codex

Sword Premier Demolisher’s group had quite a high number of cultivators. It was a fairly strong force. However, in the face of the shockwaves from the battle between Gold Immortals, they were but weaklings. Even a high-level Heavenly Immortal would be ripped apart after the chaotic streams of golden light wrapped around them.
Seeing the number of cultivators around them falling, Sword Premier Demolisher and his companions fell into a state of despair. It was then that they saw Chen Feng’s group smashing their way forward, seemingly undeterred by the chaotic streams of energy there.
A glimmer of hope flashed out from their hearts and Sword Premier Demolisher chose to ask for assistance.
“What do you think?” The Dark Kirin asked Chen Feng.
“Let’s help them.” Chen Feng nodded.
And so, the Dark Kirin waved his hand and a black stream of light broke open a passageway through the space there. Enveloping Sword Premier Demolisher and his men with his power, the Dark Kirin then rapidly whisked everyone away.
Boom!
Finally, they made their way out from the Graveyard of Divine Dragons. But it wasn’t until they made contact with the ground outside were they truly able to breathe a sigh of relief.
“Thank you for the assistance, senior.” Sword Premier Demolisher and the others moved forward to express their gratitude. After that, they went towards Chen Feng. And while there was an awkward expression on their faces, they had still thanked him with sincerity.
“No need for thanks. If possible, I want to study the Six Daos Sword Codex,” Chen Feng said smilingly.
Once again, an awkward expression appeared on Sword Premier Demolisher’s face. “I do not have the authority to make that decision.”
“Don’t have the authority. In other words, your group of 36 Heavenly Immortals are so worthless? Or is the Six Daos Sword Codex so valuable?” Chen Feng scoffed.
“Chen Feng, it is true that you have saved us. We can repay you some other way, but you can forget about the Six Daos Sword Codex,” Sword Premier Abyss said coldly.
“If that’s the case, I bid you farewell. If you fellows hadn’t asked me for help, I would not have bothered to save you fellows,” Chen Feng said nonchalantly. Hearing that, the faces of Sword Premier Demolisher and the others grew even more contorted.
“Friend, please wait.” Just as Chen Feng was about to leave, someone emerged from the Graveyard of Divine Dragons.
This person wore voluminous robes with the portrait of a wicked ghost embroidered on it. It appeared lifelike and filled with devilishness.
“Greetings, senior!” Sword Premier Demolisher and the others immediately took on a respectful demeanour.
“You can address me as Dao Monarch Hungry Ghost. I have the authority to let you cultivate the Six Daos Sword Codex. More, if you are lucky, you might even obtain the cultivation technique for the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos,” Dao Monarch Hungry Ghost said.
“Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos? Isn’t that technique missing?” Chen Feng asked, dubious.
“That’s what outsiders say about it. In truth, the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos is within our Six Daos Sword Faction. However, due to certain reasons, only a limited number of people are capable of cultivating it.”

“Ha ha ha! If even the disciples of your Six Daos Sword Faction are incapable of cultivating it, can I – an outsider – cultivate it?” Chen Feng said with a ridiculing chuckle.
“Whether or not you can cultivate it is a matter of luck. If you can indeed comprehend the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos, we can even make you the Faction Premier of our sect,” another voice spoke up. Emerging from a spatial crack, this person was also a half-step Gold Immortal.
This person wore tattered Daoist robes. It was so tattered that he looked like a beggar.
“I am Dao Monarch Hell. Friend from the Longevity Clan, do you not believe us?” the cultivator in Daoist robes said, smiling.
“Make me the Faction Premier of the sect? In other words, you are confident that I cannot cultivate the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos. However, since you two are inviting me, it would be remiss of me to reject. I do want to go see the Six Daos Sword Codex.” Chen Feng smiled and nodded.
“That’s easy.”
Dao Monarch Hungry Ghost said, stretching his hand to point a finger down. Next, an avenue of golden light appeared beneath him. There was no way to tell where it led to.
“Please!”
Nodding again, Chen Feng then stepped onto the golden avenue.
After that, golden light swept up and both the avenue and Chen Feng disappeared. Seeing that, Tun Ri and the others turned to look at the Dark Kirin. After seeing the Dark Kirin nod his head, they grew relieved.
“Fellows, please follow us to our sect and wait,” Dao Monarch Hell said with a smile.
…
After stepping on the golden avenue, Chen Feng saw light flashing before his eyes before he arrived at a still area of space. A large book – encased by golden light – hovered before Chen Feng.
“This is the Six Daos Sword Codex. You have only one month. As for how much of it you can cultivate, that will depend on your comprehension abilities.” Dao Monarch Hungry Ghost’s voice echoed around him.
One month? Hah! You’re messing with me here. Chen Feng sneered inwardly. Judging by the aura it emitted, the book was indeed the real Six Daos Sword Codex. Only, there were layer after layer of restrictions applied over it. Breaking open the restrictions to cultivate the secret technique recorded within the book was not something that could be achieved in a short period of time. One month. In one month’s time, Chen Feng could store up to 10,000 secret techniques. However, whether or not he could break open the restrictive arrays on the large book was an issue here.
Still, Chen Feng was aware that now was not the time to complain. Backing away was not an option for him. Since the other party had given him the opportunity, he must grasp it.
The Six Daos Sword Codex was only an Immortal-tier cultivation technique. Would his Heavenstealing Technique be incapable of breaking the restrictive arrays on it?
But the moment his divine sense made contact with the codex, he realized that it would be even more difficult than he had imagined. There were restrictive arrays set up by six half-step Gold Immortals in total there. Sensing that, Chen Feng nearly cussed out loud.

The reason the Six Daos Sword Faction had the words ‘Six Daos’ in its name was because of the circle of six daos. They were the dao of Heaven, dao of secularism, dao of asuras, dao of animals, dao of hungry ghosts and dao of Hell.
The restrictive arrays sealing up the Six Daos Sword Codex were bolstered by the power of the six daos. In turn, the power of the six daos rotated continuously to form the grand dao cycle of rebirth. Breaking it would not be easy.
Chen Feng was also aware that there were six half-step Gold Immortals in the Six Daos Sword Faction. They were Dao Monarch Heavensdao, Dao Monarch Asura, Dao Monarch Secularism, Dao Monarch Animal, Dao Monarch Hungry Ghost and Dao Monarch Hell. They were likely the ones who had bolstered the restrictive arrays on the codex.
Chen Feng’s divine sense assumed a spiral shape and shot towards the Six Daos Sword Codex. As expected, the first restrictive array flared with golden light to swiftly disperse Chen Feng’s divine sense.
Chen Feng, on the other hand, did not mind. He would usually train himself using the fragment of the Great Wilderness Ding, resulting in his divine sense breaking down countless times. Comparatively speaking, this power was weak.
Even so, Chen Feng was still incapable of breaking the restrictive arrays. The power of six half-step Gold Immortals had come together to form a rotating cycle. Its power was already nearly at the same level as a Gold Immortal.
You guys forced my hand. Don’t blame me for going rough here! The fragment of the Great Wilderness Ding flew out from Chen Feng’s body, transforming into the shape of an awl. Flames could be seen burning on the tip of the awl, the product of fusing Chen Feng’s soul flame and the flame of the Divine artifact.
I don’t believe I cannot break through! Chen Feng revealed a derisive grin.
…
Within a mysterious space inside the Six Daos Sword Faction were six cultivators. Golden light shrouded them, making it so only their faint silhouettes were visible.
“Hungry Ghost, Hell, your actions here are improper. When I went out, I found out some information regarding Chen Feng. Although he is just a True Immortal, he is not someone that our Six Daos Sword Faction can offend.” The voice was fleeting, yet thick. It was none other than Dao Monarch Heavensdao, the strongest amongst the six half-step Gold Immortals.
“The two of us are sincerely hoping that this kid can succeed. If he can truly learn the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos, even making him the Faction Premier would not be an issue,” Dao Monarch Hell said with a chuckle.
“Easier said than done. After all these years, no one could comprehend the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos. It is practically a missing item now. If Chen Feng finds out that you fellows are messing with him, heh, are you not afraid of bringing a calamity down on our Six Daos Sword Faction?” Dao Monarch Secularism said flatly.
“What calamity? So what if he’s a member of the Longevity Clan’s imperial family? Even though the Dark Kirin is formidable, he is only a single person.”
“Enough. Heavensdao, tell us what you know.”
“I’ll just say this. Chen Feng’s father is the Commander of the Boundless Corps,” Dao Monarch Heavensdao said.
“What?!” The other five Dao Monarchs exclaimed.
“The Celestial Longevity Clan, the Commander of the Boundless Corps! Are you certain?”
“Yes. When I first found out about it, I was thoroughly shocked as well. The Boundless Corps. I believe you fellows should know what this means. Chen Feng’s followers are from the Boundless Corps.”
“It is said that the Deputy Commanders of the Boundless Corps are all at least half-step Gold Immortals. As for the Commander rank, there is only one. This person would rarely appear, but even his personal bodyguards are at the Gold Immortal stage. In other words, we fucked up.”
“We fucked up real bad…”
“I’ll go unseal the restrictions now!”
“Wait.” Just as Dao Monarch Hell was about to get up, the expression on Dao Monarch Secularism’s face flickered.
“What is it?” Everyone became curious.
“He has broken the first restrictive array.” Dao Monarch Secularism revealed a wry smile.
“Impossible!” Dao Monarch Hell swiped forward with a finger and everyone could see Chen Feng encased in a clump of golden light. The golden light had come from the Six Daos Sword Codex.
“The second restrictive array has been broken as well,” Dao Monarch Heavensdao then said.
“He has a mid-grade Divine artifact on him. No wonder he can break open the restrictive arrays. We miscalculated.”
“The third restrictive array is open as well,” Dao Monarch Asura said.
“This kid is not cultivating. He is directly imprinting the secret techniques into his sea of wisdom. What do we do?”
“What can we do? Just stay back and watch.”
The fourth restrictive array.
The fifth restrictive array.
The sixth restrictive array.
Chen Feng imprinted all the contents of the Six Daos Sword Codex into his sea of wisdom and kept the fragment of the Great Wilderness Ding. A greyish-pale look flashed across Chen Feng’s face and he swiftly sat down to regulate his rate of breathing. The earlier effort had consumed quite a lot of energy and Chen Feng was almost incapable of handling it.
“That’s our sect guardian treasure. And just like this, an outsider managed to get all of it. Should we silence him?”
“We can silence him, but in the end, our entire Six Daos Sword Faction will be silenced as well.”
One month quickly passed and Chen Feng was able to finish dealing with the Six Daos Sword Codex. On the other hand, the Dao Monarchs also managed to come to a decision.
Before Chen Feng could say anything, another avenue of golden light appeared beneath Chen Feng. This avenue extended far into the distance.
“Whether or not you can obtain the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos next will depend on your own luck.” An unfamiliar voice rang through the space there. Chen Feng figured that it must be one of the Dao Monarchs.
After stepping onto the avenue, the golden light swept Chen Feng and he re-appeared in an ordinary-looking cave. Rough stone walls surrounded him and there were even some damp areas and spots with water vapour. All of those made it look like a very ordinary cave.

Except for the first 4 chapters, Book 2 has been moved to Amazon Kindle Unlimited. If you do not have the financial means to purchase the books, then you may DM me on discord through my discord channel for a pdf version of the book. There is only one main protagonist, but the story does have more than one perspective that it is told from. It's mostly first person from the main protagonist and third person perspective for the livestreams. The beginning of the story has also been massively rewritten since most of the reviews as of 1/23/2022. The release schedule right now is dependent on my college classes and coursework, but I always try to keep it to at least one chapter every other day, if not one chapter every day. I do not write sexual content or harem stuff. I am also not very interested in writing romance, so if you think you might see some romance, then you are probably wrong unless it's only a slight hint at romance or a slow romance very far into the story. Lastly, know that I don't like long-winding antagonists that get on everyone's nerves and last throughout the entire story. And I do like plot twists, so if you are predicting something that you think is going to happen later on that you dislike, (particularly around the middle to end of book two) then it likely won't happen.

When their paths converge, even the false gods will take notice. * * * Hello and thank you for giving Divine Intervention Online a chance. This is not my first book (that honor belongs to The Flock by Chris Sauter- available on Amazon). This is hopefully going to become my second book, the first of a planned LITRPG trilogy. This is a labor of love, dedicated to my absolute obsession with the LITRPG genre that has held me in its grasp for over 3 years. There will be dark situations that perhaps only adults should read including: slavery, violence and the results of war. There will be no harems, little profanity, but possibly some triggers for people who don’t like torture, violence, and other dark stuff.
