《Everlasting》Chapter 1147 Reinforcements Arrive

While the spatial gate was gradually becoming more stable, more cultivators gathered up around Sword Premier Demolisher. There were over 100 Heavenly Immortals and thousands of True Immortals. For the Six Daos Sword Faction to divert so much power over in the midst of a war proved just how important this Graveyard of Divine Dragons was to them. Or perhaps, this was their only chance to make a comeback.
Finally, the spatial gate became completely stabilized. It was as though it had become embedded into that very spot of space. However, sensing the great aura emanating from it, Chen Feng, who remained hidden, determined that it was indeed the Graveyard of Divine Dragons.
“The Graveyard of Divine Dragons will likely have formidable guardians. I wonder, did the experts of the Six Daos Sword Faction deal with them already?”
The smooth surface of the mirror-like gate suddenly shook violently and two cultivators walked out from it. Next, light flashed and more cultivators strode out.
The Six Dao Swords of Devastation, who had to return to the sect after becoming wounded, were amongst those who emerged. To Chen Feng’s surprise, the auras from the six of them had become remarkably strong. Although they had yet to advance to the high-level Heavenly Immortal stage, judging by the energy waves they were exuding, their strength had at least doubled. Additionally, Chen Feng also sensed a hint of stronger power from their bodies. It was most likely from the treasures that they had found inside.
“To be able to obtain such a harvest in such a short time. It really makes me impatient,” Chen Feng said with a smile.
“Looks like we can only utilize a stealth technique and enter by following them. Either that or lock down this spatial coordinate,” Jin Feng suggested.
“Let’s not rush this. There may still be more variables to consider,” Chen Feng said.
Almost every single one of the cultivators who emerged had undergone a minor change. Rather, some simply held magic treasures and weapons in their hands. Chen Feng observed more than one Divine artifact there.
“The dragon race loves to hoard treasures. If the Six Daos Sword Faction is given some time, it would have no issues sweeping the floor with the surrounding sects. A pity, there is too little time.”
The cultivators who emerged from the spatial gate immediately headed towards the battlefields. As for Sword Premier Demolisher and the others, they lined up and entered the spatial gate.
“I am from the Six Daos Sword Faction, after all. I should be able to enter, no?” Chen Feng kept observing them. Soon enough, he determined that it was not possible. Those who were chosen to enter the spatial gate were all in possession of a talisman, which gave them a certain power. If Chen Feng were to try and slip in without it, he would be swiftly discovered.
“The troublemakers should be making their entrance soon, no?” As the last few cultivators from the Six Daos Sword Faction were about to enter, Chen Feng chuckled.
“Ha ha ha ha ha! So, the Graveyard of Divine Dragons is here! Since you fellows have opened up the spatial gate, we won’t hold back!” A wild laughter rang out to shake the surrounding valley. The assault of the wild energy streams left the members of the Six Daos Sword Faction tumbling around unsteadily.

“A half-step Gold Immortal!” Chen Feng and Tie Zhen looked at each other.
“An expert has finally stepped forward.”
Amidst the sounds of wild laughter, over a thousand cultivators rushed over. Forming something of a river, they charged into the spatial gate.
To Chen Feng’s surprise, the Six Daos Sword Faction did not try to intercept them. On the contrary, they seemed to be waiting for them to enter.
“Is it a trap? It doesn’t seem like it. The aura coming out from the spatial gate is clearly that of divine dragons.” Chen Feng felt somewhat bewildered.
“In other words, the Six Daos Sword Faction must have already made preparations for this inside.”
Sou! Sou!
One by one, three more golden beams of light appeared before entering the spatial gate with lightning-like speed. Meanwhile, even more cultivators appeared from every direction. At a glance, one would have assumed that the Six Daos Sword Faction had been breached. However, Chen Feng could see that many of the cultivators who appeared in the later waves were neither from the Starsource Order nor Immortal Sword Sect.
“Looks like someone leaked the news. Who knows if the Six Daos Sword Faction can still control the situation now that so many half-step Gold Immortals have appeared?”
Given how chaotic the situation had become, Chen Feng and the others were more than able to slip in. However, they decided to wait instead because Tie Zhen had received a message from the other teams. Thus, Chen Feng decided to wait for a while longer.
“It would appear that in the Celestial Longevity Plane, regardless of friend or foe, all think highly of me,” Chen Feng said with a smirk.
“But of course, Young Master is the number one cultivation genius, with the best talent since ancient times,” Tie Zhen said seriously.
“Ha ha ha ha ha!”
Even though they were still hiding, Chen Feng ended up laughing.
“The number one cultivation genius. Unexpectedly, someone as upright as you can also flatter others like this,” Chen Feng said with a chuckle.
“It’s not flattery. Many in the Celestial Longevity Plane are saying that as well,” Tie Zhen’s face turned somewhat red.
“Is that so? Although the Chaos Constitution is renowned as the number one constitution, it is not reason enough for one to be strong. Besides, a dead genius is no genius. In the war back then, my Chaos Constitution was damaged. Later, I ended up wasting a million years. More, those were the most important years! My peers from back then whose talents are not as good as mine are probably already experts amongst experts. I hear that one of them even managed to cultivate up to the half-step Gold Immortal stage. Tsk, tsk. Cultivating up to the half-step Gold Immortal stage in a million years. He can already be considered as a peerless genius, no?” Chen Feng said.
“But…” Tie Zhen had wanted to say something when the expression on his face suddenly flickered. His tone then changed and he said, “They’re here.”
The first two to arrive were Flag Captains like Tie Zhen. Each of them had five subordinates. Upon their arrival, they respectfully saluted Chen Feng.
“Brightmoon.”
“Longevity Brightness.”
Brightmoon was a tall female cultivator with a valiant figure. Longevity Brightness was a male cultivator with a jade-like face. And yet, there was a vigorous power flowing within his body.

“This is Heavenly Immortal Brightmoon. She cultivates the Brightbring Scarlet Heaven Formula. It is a very formidable immortal technique. Her combat power is in no way inferior compared to me. Heavenly Immortal Longevity Brightness is a member of the imperial family. He cultivates the Grand Radiance Codex and some secret Longevity Techniques. His combat power is above me.
“As for the rest…”
Tie Zhen rapidly introduced them to Chen Feng.
“All right, get up. Next up, I have a task for you all,” Chen Feng said with a lofty demeanour and he kept an eye on the way Heavenly Immortal Brightmoon and Heavenly Immortal Longevity Brightness reacted.
“Affirmative!” Surface wise, the two of them appeared respectful towards him.
“There should be more coming, no? Let’s wait until the rest arrive. We can wait for one joss stick’s worth of time.” Chen Feng turned to Tie Zhen.
“There is one more team. They will be arriving soon.”
“Tie Zhen, you said you found Young Master Longevity Celestial. Is that true?”
It did not take long before the space before them turned turbulent. In the face of the formidable power, the space there cracked apart and a young cultivator with a sinister-looking face strode forward. His aura swept out to encompass the surrounding space, instantly breaking the stealth barrier around Chen Feng’s group. Behind him were 12 cultivators who remained silent.
“Prince Fire, hurry up and salute the Young Master!” Tie Zhen shouted, feeling furious at him.
This newcomer’s name was Prince Fire. His original body was that of a unique divine bird. He was endowed with the power of divine fire and the grand dao of fire. And although he was only a Senior Captain in the Boundless Corps, his combat power was superior to Tie Zhen and some other Flag Captains.
Looks like this fellow is a trouble maker. The thought had appeared in Chen Feng’s mind the moment he saw him. This was an intuitive feeling that Chen Feng had of Prince Fire.
Prince Fire’s eyes flashed with light and he turned to look at Chen Feng, a provocative look in his eyes.
“You’re courting death!”
Tie Zhen and Heavenly Immortal Brightmoon shouted at the same time, but Heavenly Immortal Longevity Brightness did nothing.
As expected. The corners of Chen Feng’s lips curled into a slight sneer and he allowed Prince Fire to look directly at him.
Instantly, Prince Fire’s face sank. Upon making contact with Chen Feng’s figure, his gaze instantly beheld, nothingness. Before he could retract this gaze, a massive vortex appeared out of the nothingness to shred and devour every part of his gaze.
Boom!
An extremely formidable aura suddenly burst out from Chen Feng’s body as his blood churned. Prince Fire had to bear the brunt of the suppressive aura head on and was forced to take several steps back. The face of Heavenly Immortal Longevity Brightness, who was standing nearby, twitched and he trembled slightly. He could not stop himself from taking a few steps back as well.
It was then that Tie Zhen and Heavenly Immortal Brightmoon took action. Two highly formidable forces struck Prince Fire’s body. Prince Fire’s twelve subordinates had wanted to rush forward only to be stopped by the subordinates of Tie Zhen and Heavenly Immortal Brightmoon.
Next, Chen Feng’s figure flashed forward to swiftly appear before Prince Fire. Stretching his hand out, he pressed down on Prince Fire’s body. Instantly, Prince Fire sensed the power within him surging out.
“Heavengulping Absorption Technique!” Prince Fire was astounded. This was a monstrous Heaven-defying secret technique. It was one of the top techniques within the Longevity Scripture. Even for members of the imperial family, obtaining the right to cultivate it was no easy feat. In his shock, Prince Fire had wanted to break free with all he had only for two ropes to shoot forward, one from the left and one from the right. The two ropes firmly tied him up. It was the handiwork of Tie Zhen and Heavenly Immortal Brightmoon.
Heavenly Immortal Longevity Brightness, who had been staying still all this time, was finally incapable of holding back. He took a step forward to say something.
“Step back!” Chen Feng shouted. Seeing the look on Chen Feng’s face, Heavenly Immortal Longevity Brightness halted his steps.
“Young Master, mercy!” Prince Fire finally began begging for mercy, but Chen Feng maintained an impassive look on his face as he continued devouring his power. By then, Prince Fire had already become very weak.
There was a look of uncertainty on Heavenly Immortal Longevity Brightness’ face. In the end, he sighed and took several steps back. He said nothing in the end.
Bang!
Chen Feng released his grip and Prince Fire fell limply to the ground, a look of fear flashing across his face. However, now that Chen Feng had stopped, Prince Fire was able to recover. A clump of flames emerged to engulf his body. Next, the air of fatigue on him disappeared and his strength gradually recovered, bit by bit.
Suddenly, another area of space twisted and three ghostlike figures emerged.
“Tun Ri!”
“Tian Wu!”
“Da Feng!”
“Greetings, Young Master!”
Seeing the three of them appear, Chen Feng finally breathed a sigh of relief. A genuine smile appeared on his face.
“Young Master!” Tun Ri was a strong and beefy man, but when he saw Chen Feng, he became so excited that tears trickled down his eyes. Tian Wu had a gloomy face and Da Feng had a bewitchingly handsome face. And yet, when they saw Chen Feng, their eyes turned red.
“Ha ha ha, enough! You’re a dignified high-level Heavenly Immortal. To think that you would cry to the point of snivelling. Won’t others laugh at you like this?” Chen Feng laughed.
“Young Master!”
Tun Ri had wanted to say something else only for Chen Feng to stop him. “Now is not the time to be reminiscing. The spatial gate is about to close up. Let’s head inside first.”
“Spatial gate? Young Master, what is going on here?” The tears on Tun Ri’s face had utterly evaporated and he cast a serious look at the spatial gate.
“This spatial gate leads to the Graveyard of Divine Dragons. It holds a good number of treasures inside. If we’re late, we’ll end up with nothing,” Chen Feng said smilingly.
Note:
‘Tun Ri’ (‘吞日’, pinyin: ‘tūn rì’) can be roughly translated as ‘Sun Devourer’.
‘Tian Wu’ (‘天蜈’, pinyin: ‘tiān wú’) can be roughly translated as ‘Heavenly Centipede’.
“Da Feng’ (‘大風’, pinyin: ‘dà fēng’) can be roughly translated as ‘Great Wind’.
Since there are no titles before their names, eg. Heavenly Immortal Brightmoon, I just went with the pinyin for their names.
