《Everlasting》Chapter 1109 Easy Beatdown

Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa!
Due to the terrifying aura, the ground beneath them began cracking. And yet, Chen Feng remained immobile. It was as though it was nothing more than a light spring breeze.
“All right, then. If you guys are ready, then just go ahead and attack. There are so many of you fellows besieging just the two of us. Do you need to be so wary? Since when did the cultivators from the Demon Plane and Nether Plane become so cowardly?” Chen Feng said smilingly.
“Damn you! Your arrogance will be the death of you!”
“Attack!”
Chen Feng waved his hand and Patron Mountriver was sent somewhere 5,000 kilometres away from the area. Without even waiting for the power that Chen Feng exerted upon his body to dissipate away, Patron Mountriver ran as fast as he could.
This was too dangerous. Staying behind would spell certain death for him.
As for Chen Feng, his figure disappeared with a flash and before the opponents’ attacks could arrive, two waves of sword energy fused together to form a hurricane, which swiftly swept forward.
After that, Chen Feng swung his hand and a black vortex appeared on his palm. It rotated furiously and its formidable aura swept out, causing all the cultivators from the Demon Plane to back away, a look of dread on their faces. Some of the weaker ones were forced to reveal their true forms.
“The Demonic Heavengorging Art! How could you cultivate this technique? Are you also from the Demon Plane?”
That one clash caused both enemy groups to fall into a state of turmoil. They had numbers on their side and their attacks would occasionally land on Chen Feng’s body. But the attacks could not damage him in the slightest. As for Chen Feng, he was able to stop the hundred plus Demon Plane cultivators with the Demonic Heavengorging Art and the Nether Plane cultivators with the waves of sword energy.
For Chen Feng, despite the other party’s advantage in numbers, they were not at the Heavenly Immortal stage. Thus, they posed no threat to him. Only, the number of secret techniques that Chen Feng could utilize was limited. For that reason, he had to spend some more time dealing with them.
Due to the suppressive might of the Demonic Heavengorging Art, the hundred plus Demon Plane cultivators grew increasingly incapable of holding on. A good number of them had already reverted back to their original forms while those who remained were all humans who had transformed into demons. Even so, the essence power within their bodies was swiftly draining away.
For them, Chen Feng’s aura was no different from the essence power of the Demon Plane itself. The stronger the cultivation technique, the more suppressive it became towards those with related genes.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Eventually, some Demon Plane cultivators began blowing up, turned into clumps of energy, which Chen Feng utterly devoured.
“You want to devour us all? That is not possible. You will only blow yourself up!”
“Go all out!”
The hundred plus Demon Plane cultivators began burning up their essence power and thick streams of demonic energy became like dark clouds, enveloping the surrounding sky. In the end, black-coloured raindrops began falling down.
Likewise, the Nether Plane cultivators also knew how serious the situation was. They worked together to utilize a secret technique and countless bone vines appeared in the sky, accompanied by nether flames.

Patron Mountriver, who was observing the fight from afar, grew even more horrified and he ran again, covering a distance of tens of thousands of li. There was only one thought in his mind.
Just what level is he at? Just what level is he at?!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Chen Feng began increasing the amount of power he was exuding and thunderous sounds rang out from his body. Like tidal waves crashing down on the shore, power roared out from his body like wyrms.
The black vortex on his palm swiftly shrank down, but its power increased tenfold and it indiscriminately devoured all the demonic energy and attacks from the Demon Plane cultivators.
“You’re not a True Immortal! You’re Heavenly Immortal!”
When the hundred plus Demon Plane cultivators lost 30% of their forces, they finally realized that they can no longer go on. Unfortunately for them, Chen Feng had gained the upper hand. Moreover, his strength was continuously rising. Escape was impossible for them.
“Mercy! We are willing to surrender!”
“Don’t need it.”
Chen Feng’s palm released a sudden pulse and the remaining Demon Plane cultivators were all shattered. After that, Chen Feng devoured all the shattered fragments.
A pity. None of them is a member of the imperial family. Chen Feng felt a twinge of regret.
After Chen Feng was done with the Demon Plane cultivators, he swung his sword and Slicing Sword Beams rampaged about, ripping apart the Nether Plane cultivators and their seemingly-invincible bone armours.
I have gained over a million contribution points. Looks like I may have gone overboard here. For Chen Feng, killing off these opponents was nothing. But for the Six Daos Sword Faction, this would be quite a shocking feat.
With a flash, Chen Feng then re-appeared in front of Patron Mountriver.
“Come. Let’s find a place to cultivate. It’s time we head back,” Chen Feng said, a smile on his face.
All Patron Mountriver could do was nod his head. Chen Feng had become an unreachable senior in his mind. He was at the very least a Heavenly Immortal.
That said, hearing Chen Feng say that they would not be heading forward anymore, Patron Mountriver breathed a sigh of relief.
After finding a mountain, Chen Feng casually dug out a grotto-mansion there. And so, time passed and it did not take long before the one-year time limit arrived. Chen Feng and Patron Mountriver then leisurely headed towards the agreed-upon location.
Senior Brother Wang and the other two heir disciples had been waiting there for quite some time.
“Senior Brother Wang, how many do you reckon will make it back?” Junior Brother Zhang asked with a smile. During this one-year period, the three of them had managed to gain quite a harvest as well. They had been to this Chaos Battlefield many times before. Thus, they were aware of the situation here and the dangers. However, the same could not be said of the loose cultivators who were here for the first time.
“Even if only half of them make it back, it would already be a good thing,” Senior Brother Wang said.
“Oh, someone’s back.”
“Greetings, fellow senior brothers.” After arriving, Patron Mountriver immediately stepped forward to salute them. Chen Feng, though, merely nodded his head without saying a word.
“So, it’s you two juniors. Looks like you managed quite the harvest this time,” Senior Brother Wang said with a smile, ignoring Chen Feng’s attitude.

Following that, more loose cultivators turned up. To the heir disciples’ surprise, of the 20 loose cultivators sent out, 15 managed to make it back. This had exceeded their expectations.
That said, the loss of the five loose cultivators did cause the others to feel shocked and fearful.
“Well then. Since everyone is here, take out 10% of what you gained here,” Senior Brother Wang said smilingly.
“Why?!” someone immediately asked.
“No need for why. We three brothers had to bring you fellows here. That is just compensation. Don’t you know the rules?”
A look of fury appeared on the faces of all the loose cultivators. Though, thinking about it, this was indeed a rule. By joining forces, they may be able to finish off the three senior brothers, but what would happen to them after they returned to the sect? At any rate, they were loose cultivators. They had no way to stand up to these heir disciples, not unless they decided to be ruthless about it and kill off the three heir disciples.
“What is it? Do you fellows want to attack us together?” The smile on Senior Brother Wang’s face turned icy.
“No way!” Some of them quickly brought out their identification tokens and tossed them over to Senior Brother Wang.
“A decent harvest of 10,000 contribution points. When you return, you will be able to purchase some decent cultivation techniques,” Senior Brother Wang said with a chuckle.
The loose cultivators kept bringing out their tokens. Some were able to accumulate thousands of contribution points and some managed to accumulate over 10,000 contribution points. One managed to accumulate over 100,000 points, the most amongst all the loose cultivators there. Bringing out his token caused his heart to ache.
The Dragon Slaying Daoist managed to accumulate 20,000 contribution points while Patron Mountriver managed to accumulate 50,000 contribution points. This shocked the others.
Finally, only Chen Feng was left. Chen Feng waved his hand and 10,000 contribution points entered Senior Brother Wang’s identification token.
Senior Brother Wang was first taken aback. Then, he stared at Chen Feng and a sneer appeared on his face.
“Handing over 10,000 contribution points just like that, looks like you managed to gain quite a lot. However, the rules are the rules. Hurry up and hand over your token. Or do you want me to take action?” Senior Brother Wang said with a contemptuous grin.
The others were looking at Chen Feng, gloating at his predicament. Patron Mountriver was the only one with an excited look on his face. He seemingly already knew what would happen next.
Chen Feng stretched his hand out. Next, his palm abruptly pressed down and the three heir disciples fell to the ground with a plop.
“As long as the three of you can get up, I can hand over the one million contribution points on me,” Chen Feng said coolly.
“You, you are offending our Six Daos Sword Faction!” Senior Brother Wang’s face turned red and he howled in rage. He struggled with all his might, but it was as though there was a massive mountain pressing down on him while he had seemingly transformed into a normal human.
“What are you saying? We are all disciples of the Six Daos Sword Faction now. We are the same,” Chen Feng said, his palm pressing down again. Instantly, the three heir disciples coughed out blood. Who knows how many of their bones had been broken?
“You loose cultivators! How can you compare with us heir disciples?!” Junior Brother Zhang shouted. Hearing that, the faces of the other loose cultivators turned ugly to behold.
“And yet, look at you three, lying on the ground like dead mutts. I can’t see what’s so great about you heir disciples,” Chen Feng said, continuing to apply pressure on them. Almost all the bones on the three heir disciples had been broken apart and blood kept flowing out from their bodies. They were already on the verge of becoming minced meat.
“Well done!” the Dragon Slaying Daoist shouted.
“Are you fellows perhaps thinking that I wouldn’t dare kill you? That’s right. You fellows have been cultivating for a long time. Maybe you have forgotten about something. No matter where you go, what background you may have, strength is all that matters,” Chen Feng said, and one of his fingers hooked. Next, the three heir disciples immediately felt the power in their bodies flowing away at a rapid rate.
“Mercy!” Senior Brother Wang and the other two immediately cried out in dread.
Finally, Chen Feng lifted his palm and the three heir disciples stood up, cutting a miserable sight as they did. Energy streams circulated and the wounds on their bodies rapidly healed up as they fearfully regarded Chen Feng.
Chen Feng beckoned and all the contribution points in the three heir disciples’ tokens flew into his token.
“Tsk, tsk. Worthy of the title heir disciples, there are actually over a million contribution points. Only, are these your hard-earned contribution points, or did you get them from others?” Chen Feng said, smiling.
“Don’t go too far!” Junior Brother Zhang shouted. He had been saving up those contribution points for a long time. He had wanted to use them to get a secret technique after returning to the sect.
Boom!
Just one wave of Chen Feng’s hand sent Junior Brother Zhang flying across a distance of over 1,000 metres.
“You don’t know the meaning of death,” Chen Feng said icily.
The others cast a look of awe at Chen Feng. And so, Senior Brother Wang and the other two heir disciples behaved themselves. Only, there was a resentful light shining deep within their eyes.
Soon enough, they all left the Chaos Battlefield and returned to the Six Daos Sword Faction.
“By the way, you three better remember this. It’s in your best interest to not disturb me if you fellows don’t want to die. This is the only chance you’re getting.” Before leaving, Chen Feng warned Senior Brother Wang and the other two.
“We wouldn’t dare!” They quickly responded.
“I wonder, what items can I get with so many contribution points. Mountriver, let’s go check it out.” Chen Feng was interested in what the Six Daos Sword Faction had to offer. That was especially so in regards to the Six Daos Sword Codex. It was quite the Heaven-defying scripture.
“Senior Brother Wang, what do we do?” After Chen Feng left, a look of hatred appeared on the faces of the three heir disciples.
“We suffered from a serious loss this time. I don’t have any contribution points left.”
“What is this Chen Qing’s background? To think that he would be so powerful. He must be hiding his strength.”

Sarsaparilla's Scary Super Power. Completed
Sarsaparilla is an older teenage girl living on Mars. And, like many other young people around her, she has a super power. Or, rather, she is supposed to have a super power. Only she has never been able to activate it, she doesn’t even know what her super power is. This annoys her, tremendously. But she hides this behind a really sweet smile. Adalace is another teenage girl, also on Mars. She knows what her own super power is, and it is quite a good one. She is also really cute… so long has she keeps her feelings under control and doesn’t let out anything from her dark past. Teylon is a man, currently living on Earth. He likes to think of himself as still young, even if he is over fifty. He’s a bit smug about his successful career and is thinking of retiring… until a sadly unfortunate event leads him to the conclusion that he had better immigrate to Mars. Immediately. Apparently, meeting one’s own Angel of Death tends to cause people to make profound changes to their lives… Mars society had better brace itself, because once these three people, plus another three also not so quite stable individuals, collide with each other, the resulting explosion is not going to leave anyone on Mars unaffected. This is another Esmeralda, the Angel of Death, story. It follows on from my previous two such stories, but it is in no way dependent on the previous stories. They can be read in any order. It is fully written and proof read (using Word for Windows, no real editor touched this transcript) and comes to about 247,000 words (about 895 Royal Road pages). It is organized into 50 chapters and I will be publishing them roughly one per day. In my writing, there are multiple characters and multiple points of view. Each change in a point of view is introduced by a header, giving the viewpoint character’s name first, and possibly a title. Inside a Point of View section, dialog in italics represents the Point of View character’s thoughts, while dialog between quotes represent normal spoken dialog. This story is very much inspired by the anime A Certain Scientific Railgun. However I have only taken some elements from the anime, and changed everything I took to make my own story, and so it does not count as fanfiction. Yeah, I know, the book cover page isn’t very good. It’s the best I could do, by tracing over a stock image. The two ladies shown are supposed to be Adalace and Sarsaparilla. Ideally I would have liked there to be two images of this pair, one where they are smiling sweetly and looking cute, and one where they are looking really angry and dangerous. But that totally exceeds my graphics abilities. You will just have to imagine it.

A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!
