“Incredible!” Sensing the might of the great hand, Chen Feng felt as though all the pores on his body would explode. He thought that he had succeeded in fleeing from the other party’s bodily world. Unexpectedly, that was only the beginning of the crisis.

The cultivators who were following Chen Feng were also shocked senseless. They could not begin to estimate how much stronger this great hand was compared to the previous attack.

This, this was true power. True magic. It was not something that characters like them could resist.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three explosive sounds rang out as three Immortal artifacts that were inside Chen Feng’s body blew up. The power created from their explosions gave Chen Feng greater clarity.

So be it! I’ll just have to stomach this loss! Staying alive is more important here. Next, the stone plate flew out from Chen Feng’s hand. Chen Feng channelled all his power into this Divine artifact and it promptly grew in size. Rotating non-stop, it then swept towards the great hand. Upon firing out the stone plate, Chen Feng did not even bother checking the results as he rapidly flapped his Longevity Wings to flee.

Chen Feng knew that he could no longer keep the Divine-tier stone plate. Even the cultivators who charged out with him would be incapable of surviving. Rather, even his own survival would depend on luck.

Boom!

It was an indescribable booming sound. Even without looking back, Chen Feng knew that – in the face of the great hand – the stone plate had been destroyed. The cultivators had also been shattered apart.

Spatial cracks moved towards Chen Feng like invincible blades. Due to that, the Longevity Wings, an existence that surpassed space-time itself, began breaking down.

Chen Feng was aware that this was not because the Longevity Wings was an inferior technique. The most important factor here was that the other party was simply too strong. It was so strong that he would need to depend on pure luck to escape.

Roar!

Chen Feng roared and a series of booming sounds rang out as more Immortal artifacts inside his body blew up. Thanks to the formidable power, the Longevity Wings unfurled again and the Blood Mustering Bead inside him began rotating. A wave of bloody light burst out to envelop Chen Feng, giving him a somewhat ghastly appearance.

Chen Feng was truly going all out here. After the spatial cracks came yet another great hand. This great hand was even more ferocious and Chen Feng finally realized what level this party was at. He could already sense a hint of ageless aura. That meant Gold laws.

A Gold Immortal, huh? Or is it a half-step Gold Immortal? Regardless, neither of those are existences that I can face. Chen Feng’s face turned truly grim. Even if he were to burn up all his essence, energy and soul power, he would simply be no match for this fellow. There was a good number of levels between them, after all.

Looks like I can only hide inside the Longevity Tower. That way, there is a small chance that I might survive. Still, Chen Feng also knew that the Longevity Tower was likely incapable of resisting the other party.

The pressure bearing down on Chen Feng grew and grew to the point where he became suffocated. Chen Feng then screamed and was about to slip into the Longevity Tower when the gigantic hand suddenly disappeared. The pressure abruptly disappeared, but Chen Feng ended up coughing out a mouthful of blood.

Looks like the other party’s opponent is very strong. They can no longer divert their attention away from the fight. Minute rays of hope shone out from Chen Feng’s heart.

Chi!

Perhaps it was because Chen Feng’s luck had come into play, but a formidable power streaked forward to tear open a long crack in the surrounding space. Chen Feng sensed the aura of the outside world coming from the crack.

This is a true chance! Chen Feng charged into the spatial crack as fast as he could. At the same time, the semi-transparent silhouettes of the Longevity Tower and Blood Mustering Bead encased him while the Longevity Wings flapped furiously. And so, Chen Feng disappeared into the crack.

“We’re out!”

Finally, Chen Feng was able to see the stars in the distant space. He could also sense energies that were different from before. And although all he did was travel through a spatial crack, the two layers of barriers encasing him were almost utterly destroyed.

Shocked, Chen Feng flew as fast as he could, wanting to leave this dangerous place. But he quickly found that the danger was not yet over. Chaotic streams of power kept surging forward to block Chen Feng’s view of the distant stars as Chen Feng was once again caught within a whirlpool of violence.

Chen Feng’s whole body became contorted and blood flowed out from his seven orifices. If it weren’t for the bolstering power from the Longevity Tower, the surrounding streams of power would have ripped Chen Feng apart.

If I keep staying here, I will die! Chen Feng gnashed his teeth and more Immortal artifacts within him blew up. This time, Chen Feng decided to put even more into it, blowing up even a pseudo-Divine artifact along with the rest.

Due to that, power gushed out with a maddening rate from Chen Feng’s body and his wounded body immediately recovered. The Longevity Wings became filled with yin yang energy and Chen Feng became like a butterfly flying through a gale, persisting bitterly as he kept flying forward.

This sense of powerlessness was a rare feeling for Chen Feng. In the face of absolute power, two factors were important. Firstly, he had to go all out. Secondly, he had to be lucky.

It had to be said, Chen Feng was quite lucky. Perhaps it was because neither of the two parties thought highly of an ant-like existence like Chen Feng, but he was able to gradually leave the whirlpool of violence created by their battle. The pressure bearing down on his body gradually lessened until it was finally incapable of affecting him anymore.

Chen Feng himself didn’t know how long he spent flying. Only after he could no longer sense danger did he turn his head around to check what was happening there. However, even after pushing his Divine Eyes of Heavenly Insight to its limits, all he could see were two clumps of golden light colliding against one another. He could not get a clearer view of what was happening there.

“The grand dao of agelessness, Gold laws. Tsk, tsk. One day, I too will cultivate up to that level.” Chen Feng displayed a wry grin before turning to fly away again. In the end, he landed on a desolate planet before releasing True Immortal Soulboost and Heavenly Premier Extreme Celestial out.

“Are you all right?” Seeing Chen Feng’s appearance, Heavenly Premier Extreme Celestial anxiously asked.

“I was really lucky back then. I managed to escape.” Chen Feng then gave them a brief summary of what happened earlier. Heavenly Premier Extreme Celestial and True Immortal Soulboost would sharply suck in a breath of air again and again as they came to admire how Chen Feng was able to escape.

Leaving the rest to the two of them, Chen Feng began working on healing his wounds. Although he managed to escape this time, he also lost a Divine artifact. It gave Chen Feng quite the heartache. Chen Feng had been constantly attempting to catch the auras of the two parties engaged in the battle earlier, but all his attempts were met with failure.

“It is said that when Immortal Humans fight, mortals would suffer. In the face of cultivators at that level, we are but mortals.”

One month later, the three of them left the desolate planet. With this trip, Chen Feng was able to find Heavenly Premier Extreme Celestial, but he failed to find the other two seniors from Extreme Celestial Sect. At the same time, he also lost contact with Huo Yunlong and Premier Golden Earth.

Chen Feng searched around the surrounding starry space for decades before finally returning to Eternal World.

Everything in Eternal World remained the same. Heavenly Firmaments Palace’s forces there had been utterly wiped out and the Immortal Plane was also not interfering with Eternal World anymore. Still, Heavenly Premier Extreme Celestial’s return did shake the entire world of cultivation there. That was especially so for Extreme Celestial Sect. Every part of the sect jumped with joy.

A Heavenly Immortal. No words were needed to know what this meant for a sect.

However, Heavenly Premier Extreme Celestial only stayed in Eternal World for a moment. After pondering it for some time, he finally chose to ascend to the Immortal Plane.

True Immortal Soulboost also – after seeking Chen Feng’s consent – entered the Immortal Plane. In recent years, the Immortal Plane had undergone too great of a change, so much so that even the various Celestial Planes had to look at them seriously. Additionally, Chen Feng had also given True Immortal Soulboost an order. He was to first enter the Immortal Plane and establish a base of operations to develop a force there.

With their departure, Chen Feng was once again left alone. Following the increase in Chen Feng’s status and cultivation base, the relationship between him and his old friends became increasingly distant. Many whom he was able to drink and chat with in the past would now – subconsciously – treat him with awe and a respectful behaviour.

Chen Feng was not fond of this, but he could not change the hearts and minds of others. Besides, he had already expected this.

One day, he received news that Bai Ziyan had disappeared.

When going to outer space for an adventure, it was normal for the cultivators to not return for tens of thousands of years. However, back when Bai Ziyan left Eternal World, she was only an Earthen Immortal. It had been over 1,000 years since she left. Even the life-indicating jade card that she left behind before leaving had stopped working. All of that showed that something had most likely happened to Bai Ziyan.

Thinking about Bai Ziyan, Chen Feng’s state of mind was affected. Forcibly suppressing his thoughts, Chen Feng then utilized a secret divination technique from the Longevity Scripture.

Even though Chen Feng failed to divine out Bai Ziyan’s location in the end, he did find out that she was safe and sound. Additionally, there was a high chance that she had come across serendipity. After repeating the divination technique several times, Chen Feng then grew at ease.

When Chen Feng was not cultivating, he would sit down and observe the development of Eternal World. He even visited Domain World one more time. The two worlds were very stable. Seeing that pleased Chen Feng.

Finally, Chen Feng managed to refine up to 108 True laws and 36 Heavenly laws and his strength rose to a monstrous level. Despite having utilized a Heaven-shrouding Technique, Chen Feng could still feel the oppressive power of the Heavenly dao. Sensing that, Chen Feng knew that it would not be long before he had to leave Eternal World.

Before leaving, though, there are some things that I must get to the bottom of. Chen Feng’s figure flashed and he entered a wondrous space. Yellow sands spread out endlessly and an 18-storey tower appeared before him.

Given Chen Feng’s present level of power, he no longer needed to depend on the Teleportation Talisman to bring him over. He could enter this place on his own.

As expected, it is a bodily world. In the past, I had actually assumed that this was a pocket dimension. A pity, this world has already withered up. Who knows how long its owner had died? Chen Feng stepped forward, directly entering the 15th floor of the Spirit Essence Tower.

Once again, he was faced with tribulation powers on the 15th floor. This time, however, it was the Flames of Hell, which burned everything. For Chen Feng, however, the flames were practically incapable of doing anything to him.

“It’s too weak.” Chen Feng grasped and the sea of flames transformed into a clump of flames before flying into Chen Feng’s palm, where it became nourishment for the Essence Spirit Bead.

On the 16th floor was a clump of primary spirit left behind by a True Immortal. It did not even have any memories of its own. When it saw Chen Feng, the primary spirit charged at him, wanting to snatch Chen Feng’s body only for Chen Feng to casually gulp it down instead.

Too weak. Chen Feng shook his head lightly.

On the 17th floor was a decent combat puppet. Its strength was comparable to a Heavenly Immortal. Even so, it was still no match for Chen Feng, who easily subdued it.

On the 18th floor, the highest floor for the Spirit Essence Tower, was a crystal-clear human skeleton.

“The corpse of a Heavenly Immortal!” Initially taken aback by the discovery, Chen Feng swiftly recollected himself. It was not that shocking.
