As Chen Feng had also cultivated the Dark Scripture, he had a certain level of understanding towards some of the matters of the Dark Plane. He knew that some abnormal situations would sometimes happen to sources of the power of darkness. A manic wave of darkness was one such example. When he realized that, Chen Feng grew even more excited. For it to be able to trigger such an abnormal situation meant that the Spiritual Fountain of Darkness that they were after was extraordinary.

“Dark Scripture!”

In the face of this manic wave of darkness, something comparable to a void storm, Chen Feng did not run away like the others. Instead, he remained there and utilized a secret, darkness-type technique and the semi-transparent silhouette of the Dark Scripture rapidly formed above Chen Feng.

The semi-transparent silhouette became increasingly solid. In the end, it became almost identical to the one in the Dark Kirin’s possession. Sensing the surging waves of the power of darkness, the scripture began shaking violently.

Invisible waves of energy fluctuations spread out and another scripture appeared. This one was the real Dark Scripture. However, the Dark Kirin did not appear.

The incoming waves of darkness – thick and surging in quality – abruptly contracted before disappearing in a flash, but Chen Feng felt his heart stop. It felt as though something important deep within the universe was stirring. It was a mysterious and indescribable feeling, as though the end of days had come. The feeling he received from it was beyond the concept of fear.

Boom!

Black light abruptly burst out at a speed beyond Chen Feng’s imaginations.

Will I be incapable of stopping it? The thought flashed across Chen Feng’s mind.

Soon enough, Chen Feng found that he was mistaken. The first stream of black light, which gave off an image of invincibility, had been slashing towards Chen Feng. But when it finally arrived before Chen Feng, it suddenly turned to enter the Dark Scripture.

Seeing that, Chen Feng breathed a sigh of relief.

What happened next was akin to a volcanic eruption as black light kept shooting forward. The streams of black light were no ordinary objects. They were the power of darkness, compressed to the point of becoming sharp blades capable of piercing through space and the land.

And yet, no matter how powerful the streams of black light were, all of them were utterly devoured by the two Dark Scriptures the moment they approached Chen Feng. Naturally, the semi-transparent Dark Scripture that Chen Feng formed was only capable of devouring 10% of the black light. Additionally, there was no telling how long it would take for the semi-transparent Dark Scripture to fully refine the black light.

The rest went to the Dark Kirin’s Dark Scripture.

Chen Feng secretly felt envious. He knew that the Dark Kirin’s cultivation would definitely improve greatly after obtaining such a great haul.

The manic wave of darkness lasted for one hour. Chen Feng, who had been calculating how much power of darkness was generated during that one hour, became secretly shocked. The Dark Kirin swiftly appeared before Chen Feng. At that very moment, the atmosphere that the Dark Kirin was exuding had changed. Seeing the Dark Scripture hovering above the Dark Kirin’s head, Chen Feng felt as though there were two of the deepest black holes in the universe standing right before him.

“Congratulations,” Chen Feng said smilingly.

Given Chen Feng’s ability to discern, he could tell that the Dark Kirin had advanced by yet another level. Only, he had yet to undergo his tribulation, otherwise he would already become a mid-level True Immortal.

“Just the manic wave of darkness from the other side is so incredibly useful for me. If I can obtain the Spiritual Fountain of Darkness, I will be able to release even more of the Dark Scripture’s power,” the Dark Kirin said with an excited tone.

“We will surely be able to obtain it. Still, I wonder where Brother Huo went?” Chen Feng was unable to sense Huo Yunlong’s aura and he grew worried.

“He’s there.”

The Dark Kirin’s eyes flashed with light and a certain dark space shattered. Next, Huo Yunlong fell out from it, cutting a wretched sight as he did.

“You guys are finally here.” There was a bitter smile on Huo Yunlong’s face. Although he had only been trapped for a brief moment, for Huo Yunlong, it felt as though it had been decades or longer. Due to the power of darkness, everything was cut off and Huo Yunlong lost his bearings. It was a most unbearable feeling.

“Now that the two mid-level True Immortals guarding the place have been dealt with, there should be no more dangers, right?” Huo Yunlong asked.

“Hopefully. However, I sense that the crisis has yet to be resolved. Still, now that Senior Dark’s cultivation base has risen tremendously, we should be able to handle whatever comes next by mobilizing the Dark Scripture.”

“It’s not that simple,” the Dark Kirin said, waving his hand to fire out a mote of black light from the Dark Scripture. The mote of light abruptly erupted to transform into a hurricane, which then smashed its way forward to carve out a path. It seemed like a path without end.

“Let’s go!”

“What a formidable offensive power!” Huo Yunlong found himself somewhat at a loss for words. Unexpectedly, after not seeing the Dark Kirin for just a short time, he would suddenly become so strong.

“Careful!”

Chen Feng swiftly pulled Huo Yunlong away and a black whip emerged from space to stir their surroundings before sweeping towards the three of them.

“There are still others lurking around.”

“It’s probably the Spiritual Fountain of Darkness’ handiwork.”

Instantly, over 100 whips formed using the power of darkness emerged from the path. Like tentacles, they covered the whole world while unleashing a formidable power of chaos at Chen Feng’s team of three.

“Collect.”

In the face of the attacks, the Dark Kirin merely uttered the word “collect”. Next, all of the whips exploded and transformed into the power of darkness, which was completely devoured by the Dark Kirin.

Seemingly incapable of resisting the allure of the Spiritual Fountain of Darkness, the Dark Kirin advanced rapidly to leave Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong behind.

“What’s he running so fast for?” Huo Yunlong could not stop himself from mumbling.

“Let’s go too!” Fearing that something might happen to the Dark Kirin, Chen Feng swiftly went after him. It did not take long before he heard sounds of battle coming from up ahead.

“Careful, some people have set up an ambush around us.” Promptly, Chen Feng received the secret vocal transmission from the Dark Kirin.

Due to that, Chen Feng came to know that there was danger. However, he did not retreat. Instead, he sped up, for fear that the Dark Kirin would be incapable of holding on.

Chen Feng’s guess was not too far off. By the time Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong arrived, the Dark Kirin was already trapped. There were four human cultivators occupying certain positions to form a separate world of their own there. When he saw that, Chen Feng’s eyes swiftly narrowed.

Judging by the power of darkness coming off their bodies, Chen Feng determined that they were from the Dark Plane.

“These four fellows are very strong. Just taking on two of them would already be quite the accomplishment.” Sensing the atmosphere of pressure there, Huo Yunlong also knew that this would not be an easy battle.

“The four of them are mid-level True Immortals.” Chen Feng was inwardly distressed.

“You two should not have come. There is still time to charge out.” The Dark Kirin, who was trapped by the four cultivators, sent Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong another secret vocal transmission.

“Two more death seekers have come. Oh, this youngster has also cultivated the power of darkness. Is he also from the Dark Plane?” one of the four cultivators said with a smile as he looked at Chen Feng. Instantly, Chen Feng felt an invisible pressure assailing his sea of wisdom as the cultivator’s gaze became like a surging ocean of darkness.

“Humph!”

Chen Feng responded with a scoff and his eyes released a devouring force, which instantly wiped out the enemy attack. But that was not all. Both Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong also chose to attack at the same time.

Their attacks flew towards one of the four cultivators. They wanted to create an opening for the Dark Kirin to escape.

“Magic Eyes of Darkness! You have also cultivated the Dark Scripture!” The four cultivators grew stunned.

“Catch this kid and search his soul.”

The cultivator who was the target of Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong’s attacks waved his hand and a mote of black light erupted. Like an expanding world, the attacks coming at him were all wrapped up. In the end, the attacks failed to do anything.

“That’s world power! These four fellows are very strong. They have such formidable personal worlds!” Chen Feng said as he utilized the Longevity Wings, pulling Huo Yunlong with him as he disappeared from sight.

“That earlier is the Longevity Wings! Is he a cultivator from the Longevity Clan?”

“The Longevity Clan. The Celestial Longevity Plane!”

The faces of the four cultivators flickered, but they quickly recollected themselves. That said, the way they regarded Chen Feng had changed.

“The opponents are utilizing the Dark Dimension Technique. If only I have overcome my Heavenly Tribulation and become a mid-level True Immortal, they would definitely be incapable of entrapping me.” The Dark Kirin channelled all his strength to mobilize the Dark Scripture. And while its power was literally capable of shaking the world, it was still insufficient to break open the world that the four cultivators had created.

The four of them had created their own personal worlds. Now that their four worlds had been stacked together, even a high-level True Immortal would have to tread cautiously when facing this move.

Overcome tribulation? Chen Feng had been hiding in the dark, but when he heard those words, his eyes flashed as he thought of a brilliant idea.

As he spoke, Chen Feng secretly linked up with the Longevity Tower. “Undergo tribulation? What are you talking about?” The Dark Kirin was taken aback, but he quickly caught on.

“Not a problem! I’m absolute confident!” he shouted.

Boom!

Those words had just left him when a mountainous power of devastation descended from the depths of space. This power pierced the world that the four cultivators had created to strike the Dark Kirin’s body, sending it flying. In response to that, the Dark Kirin laughed loudly while the faces of the four cultivators sank.

“Damn it! How could a Heavenly Tribulation happen here?”
