“Prince Blood Edge, what do you think? Should we ally with them?” After Chen Feng and Bi Qing had left, the other blood cultivators came forward and asked. Although Prince Blood Edge was the strongest amongst all the Ascendant Immortals who came through the passageway, there were also several with cultivation bases close to that of Prince Blood Edge.

“Humph! Absolute, stuff that smug face of yours. My Four Cardinals Academy also has a few students that are only one step away from reaching the Ascendant Immortal stage.” Heavenly Premier Four Cardinals had a hard time looking at the smug expression on Heavenly Premier Absolute’s face.

“It’s all because Chen Feng is biased. Back then, your Absolute Academy received a little more immortal dao laws.” Heavenly Premier Heavensight was also feeling somewhat displeased.

“Ha ha ha! No matter how you cut it, those two undergoing tribulation right now are cultivators from my Absolute Academy!” Heavenly Premier Absolute was smiling so widely that the other three Heavenly Premiers had to clench their teeth to endure the sight of his face.

“Ha ha ha! No need to stand on ceremony with Chen Feng. You fellows can head back.” Heavenly Premier Absolute appeared, laughing as he did. Behind him came a group of cultivators who came to offer their congratulations.

“In the following year, our alliance will likely have at least 10 new Ascendant Immortals.” Given Chen Feng’s present level of strength, he could scan and sense everything happening within East Dragon Island. After arriving in outer space, though, Chen Feng did not immediately undergo tribulation. Instead, he brought out the Blood Mustering Bead. After devouring the blood essence of some Ascendant Immortals, the Blood Mustering Bead had managed to stabilize its low-grade Immortal artifact state. More, it was constantly growing in strength. In Chen Feng’s opinion, the Blood Mustering Bead would certainly be the first amongst the rest of the magic treasures to level up again.

A total of nine beams of bloody light rushed out from the Blood Mustering Bead. The Blood Mustering Bead’s rise to the Immortal tier had also greatly benefitted the Poisonous Vileblood Wyrms that were cultivating inside it. And now, it was time for them to undergo their tribulations.

All nine wyrms underwent their tribulations at the same time. This was Chen Feng’s first time witnessing something like this. As the nine wyrms could be considered as one, their Heavenly Tribulations were slightly more ferocious than normal. In the end, however, the nine wyrms succeeded in overcoming their tribulations to become peak-level Earthen Immortals.

After that, the nine wyrms flew back into the Blood Mustering Bead. With the Blood Mustering Bead’s existence, it was just a matter of time before the nine wyrms advanced to the Ascendant Immortal stage.

And so, the place fell into a state of stillness and Chen Feng hovered quietly in space, not moving at all. It seemed as though even his cognitive abilities had come to a halt.

Before him was a mighty cultivator in black armour who wielded a lance while riding a wicked wyrm. Hovering above him was a great river. Only, the great river contained lightning waters. More, they were Devastation Lightning.

The cultivator was an Ascendant Immortal.

“Chen Feng, you made use of heretical magic to violate the Heavenly dao. To think that you would still have the audacity to undergo tribulation! Today is the day you face obliteration!” The cultivator spoke the human tongue. Even as he spoke, his magics shot forward. A wave of energy fluctuations condensed into tangible form before assailing Chen Feng.

It's a real person! Only, he has fused himself with the Heavenly dao. This will not be easy to handle. Chen Feng stretched his hand and grasped to dig out a huge chunk of the space before him. Then, the tangible wave of energy fluctuations became like a stream of water striking a massive boulder and water splashed all over the place.

“I am a cultivator from the Longevity Clan! A minor Immortal Plane dares to interfere with my affairs? Believe it or not, I will one day flatten your Ministry of Heavenly Tribulation!” Chen Feng said with a derisive grin while brandishing the Heaven Piercing Lance.

“A load of rubbish! Die!” The black-armoured cultivator waved his hand and the river above him abruptly stretched. One wave of lightning waters after another surged, interconnecting before furiously smashing their way towards Chen Feng.

The river was formed using Devastation Lightning. It also contained laws of destruction at the immortal dao level. Even Ascendant Immortals could forget about escaping after the river had engulfed them.

The black-armoured cultivator rode the wicked wyrm forward and attacked, the lance in his hand locking down on Chen Feng’s aura.

“Seal!”

Chen Feng brought out the Domain Geocompass and domain power emerged to form a shield, which rapidly spun before charging forward.

The Domain Geocompass was already a top-grade Dao artifact. Additionally, it had all eight of its domain powers working in tandem to create a domain world. Even amongst top-grade Dao artifacts, the Domain Geocompass could already be considered a top-quality magic treasure.

In the face of the river of Devastation Lightning, however, the shield instantly shattered apart. Chen Feng then jabbed with one finger and the Domain Geocompass moved to position itself before him. Next, the river smashed into the geocompass and a thunderous boom rang out.
