The golden armour that the golden-armoured cultivator was wearing was something forged by a True Immortal. It was an Immortal-tier armour with True laws embedded within it. The power of darkness and Immortal artifacts surged into the golden-armoured cultivator’s body at the same time to inflict even more damage upon him.

“Don’t get cocky, kid! You will die before me!” The golden-armoured cultivator’s face contorted and he fired out a punch at Chen Feng. Although he was already injured, the power behind his punch was like a torrential river. Taking this punch would spell certain death for Chen Feng.

“I’ve been waiting for you!”

The Longevity Tower appeared before the charging golden-armoured cultivator, sucking him inside.

“It’s done!”

Seeing the golden-armoured cultivator enter the Longevity Tower, Chen Feng breathed a sigh of relief. As far as he could remember, no cultivator had ever managed to make it out from the Longevity Tower.

The lance pierced the golden-armoured cultivator’s body and the power that the golden-armoured cultivator had been gathering was lost as a result.

“I finally realized why cultivators who have cultivated their bodily world are so powerful. World power aside, there is also the unity of myriad minds. However, this fellow sure is a funny one. Even though he has already cultivated out his bodily world, there are no living creatures inside it. I think he must be practicing a different cultivation path,” Chen Feng said with a chuckle.

The golden-armoured cultivator was pierced a second time. He wanted to gather his strength again to break free, but it was already too late. One by one, the Longevity Tower extracted the True laws out from his body. Following the loss of the power of laws, the golden-armoured cultivator felt his power draining away at an alarming rate and his body became increasingly weak; his essence, energy and soul power kept withering away.

Finally, when all the True laws had been extracted, the golden-armoured cultivator accepted his fate. He knew that he could no longer escape from the Longevity Tower.

“Unexpectedly, I would die inside the Longevity Tower. At the very least, my life was not in vain.” After saying that, the golden-armoured cultivator then laughed loudly.

Chen Feng did not ask the golden-armoured cultivator what he meant by that. This was a living True Immortal, after all. The True laws and essence, energy and soul power extracted from him were all good items. For Ascendant Immortals, just a drop of blood essence from a True Immortal was a great treasure, far more valuable compared to an Immortal artifact.
