“I’m fine. I’ll test this fellow for a bit.” Bi Qing’s face turned serious and the sword in his hand thrummed. The sounds of surging water rang out from Bi Qing’s body and his chaos-ridden aura rapidly stabilized. In just the blink of an eye, the wounds on his body had healed up completely.

“Incarnation of Wind and Lightning!” Bi Qing became one with his sword, transforming into a luminescent sword before charging forward.

Chen Feng, on the other hand, dared not be careless about this. The pressure that this newcomer was giving him was simply too great. Thus, Chen Feng was quick to mobilize the great array through a secret technique, launching an attack at the newcomer at the same time as Bi Qing.

This newcomer was not wielding anything. He only had the golden armour on his mighty body. And yet, there was a wide smile on his face, which appeared calm. In the face of Bi Qing’s attack, he simply responded with a simplistic punch. 

An expert! Even though Chen Feng had yet to see the result of the clash, he could already tell that the golden-armoured cultivator was an expert, far stronger compared to the previous three. Thus, he utilized the great array to form a silky thread of light, which he sent forward. In just an instant, the thread had appeared before the golden-armoured cultivator.

By then, the punch from the golden-armoured cultivator had knocked Bi Qing back. The golden-armoured cultivator had been about to press the advantage when he sensed the space before him fluctuating. Layer after layer of restraining power then pressed down on him from various directions.

“This is the Great Heavenstealing Array that is forbidden by the Immortal Plane. Using it recklessly will invoke the fury of the Heavens,” the golden-armoured cultivator said coolly, swinging his palm. The power of metal rushed out to hack the silky threads of light around him, only to create sparks of fire.

“It’s useless. I have gathered the power of 36 Immortal artifacts for this,” Chen Feng said with a derisive grin.

Bi Qing displayed his sword techniques and fired out an endless barrage of attacks. At the same time, cyan-coloured flames burned all across his figure. Meanwhile, streams of energy reached out from the depths of space to enter and strengthen his body. Due to that, Bi Qing’s cultivation level rose from the mid-level Ascendant Immortal stage to the high-level Ascendant Immortal stage. The laws of the universe and the pulling power, on the other hand, did not have much effect on Bi Qing.

“So, it is a friend from the Celestial Clearblue Plane. Since when did those from the Celestial Planes become interested in our Immortal Plane’s laws?” the golden-armoured cultivator ridiculed, his hands moving rapidly to stack several attacks together, breaking the silky threads encasing him. Rather, it even broke space, causing void powers to pour in.

True law! Chen Feng thought to himself. For this cultivator to be able to utilize True laws here meant that he was capable of unleashing the might of a True Immortal.

However, Bi Qing had received the support from the Celestial Clearblue Plane, pushing his cultivation level up to the high-level Ascendant Immortal stage. His combat power became over 10 times stronger and he was actually a match for the golden-armoured cultivator.

The golden-armoured cultivator could not stay here for long, but Bi Qing’s strengthened state also could not be maintained for long. Knowing that, Chen Feng mobilized the great array to create and attack with another astral blade. This attack struck the golden-armoured cultivator, causing him to tumble backwards, giving Bi Qing the upper hand in the fight.

“The Immortal Plane is only so-so!”

The group of Ascendant Immortals who were observing the battle from afar felt relieved. At the same time, they also felt some contempt for the Immortal Plane.

“You cannot say that. Those cultivators from the Immortal Plane are violating the grand dao laws of the universe here. Due to that, they are incapable of sending their real bodies over, which leads to a severe reduction in their strength.”

“The way I see it, Chen Feng and Bi Qing are simply too strong. By the way, what is that Bi Qing’s background? How could he push his level up to the high-level Ascendant Immortal stage? It looks to me like the laws of the universe are not having much of an effect on him.”

“A pity, we are incapable of joining in. Otherwise, we would have been able to exchange a few blows with the cultivators from the Immortal Plane.”

“One thousand! How many more can you extract?” Chen Feng asked.

“At most, another thousand.”

“That’s too little. Can you extract True laws?”

“That’s impossible.”

As Bi Qing was having the upper hand in the battle, another golden-armoured cultivator appeared. This one brought with him a vast amount of Devastation Lightning. And while the Longevity Tower was capable of devouring the Devastation Lightning, Bi Qing could not.

“Looks like we are more or less done here.” Chen Feng mobilized the great array to stop the other golden-armoured cultivator, but it did not take long before a third and fourth golden-armoured cultivator appeared, one after another. Despite going all out with the great array, Chen Feng was still incapable of stopping the full-powered attacks from the other party. Finally, one of the golden-armoured cultivators made his way into the central area of the great array – right in front of Chen Feng – and fired out a punch at Chen Feng.

Chen Feng did not move away. Instead, he utilized the great array’s power to block this attack. However, part of the great array was broken apart as a result and even the ocean region ended up shaking. 

Impressive! The other party has the might of True laws on their side. It will be very hard to stop them. Chen Feng beckoned and a sword appeared in his grasp. Next, he displayed the Longevity Sword Technique to entangle this golden-armoured cultivator.

Boom!

One punch from the golden-armoured cultivator shattered the sword beam that Chen Feng sent forth and he forced Chen Feng to give ground, again and again, nearly forcing him out of the great array.

“Golden-armoured cultivator! Are you from the Ministry of Heavenly Justice, Ministry of Heavenly Tribulation or Ministry of Heavenly War?” Chen Feng asked with a smile on his face.

“I know you are someone from the Longevity Clan, but the majestic might of the Immortal Plane cannot be challenged, not even for those from the Celestial Planes.” The golden-armoured cultivator did not answer. Instead, he continued to fire out another punch, sending Chen Feng flying away with it.

If it weren’t for the great array, that one punch would have obliterated the surrounding ocean region. An area encompassing a radius of hundreds of thousands of li would have disappeared. Such was the might of a True Immortal.

“Chen Feng, should we help out?” Heavenly Premier Absolute sent a secret vocal transmission to Chen Feng.

“Do not come! Just stand guard over East Dragon Island!” Chen Feng was quick to respond. Heavenly Premier Absolute and the others must not involve themselves with this. Should they do so, the pulling power of the Immortal Plane would find them and force them to ascend. Moreover, even someone like Bi Qing could only fight them to a tie. Thus, they would only be committing suicide by joining the fight.

“Hold on for just a while longer!”

Chen Feng mobilized the 36 Immortal artifacts to fight back against the golden-armoured cultivators. However, whatever power he could muster was destroyed the moment it emerged. There were four golden-armoured cultivators in total. Two were fighting Chen Feng while two were fighting Bi Qing and they wrecked the great array, tearing it down bit by bit. Bi Qing would not be able to hold on for much longer.

“Chen Feng, we have a problem!” Suddenly, Heavenly Premier Absolute sent Chen Feng another secret vocal transmission.

“What happened?” Chen Feng no longer had time to deal with anything else.

“Heavenly Firmaments Palace has taken action! A high number of cultivators are moving out from the Northern Plains. They have already crossed the Twospan Mountain range area and are now fighting three first-rate forces. Those three will not be able to hold on for much longer.”

“Chen Feng, a hostile force has come to East Dragon Island through a teleportation array. They have many Earthen Immortals within them. There are also Ascendant Immortals mixed within them!”

“Chen Feng, the Heavenly Sword Mountain Range is under siege!”

A series of news made their way to Chen Feng, who sharply sucked in a breath of air.

No wonder the Northern Plains has been so quiet all this time. Looks like they were making preparations. However, to think that Heavenly Firmaments Palace would be able to hold back for so long. They’re really patient.

“Senior Absolute, I will leave this matter to you all. You must be sure to keep them away. Bi Qing and the Dark Kirin aside, East Dragon Island’s side had 11 mid-level Ascendant Immortals and another 11 newly-joined Ascendant Immortals. This should be enough to stop Heavenly Firmaments Palace’s attack. 

“We already have 2,000 immortal dao laws,” Tower suddenly said.

“About done.”

After Chen Feng said that, the Longevity Tower abruptly grew several notches bigger and whatever remained of the great array rotated rapidly to channel forth the vestiges of its power to send Chen Feng, Bi Qing and the four golden-armoured cultivators to outer space.

Without the protection of the great array, continuing the battle would result in the destruction of East Dragon Island and the deaths of countless people. Thus, they had – prior to this – decided on moving the fight into outer space.

“Once we finish off these four fellows, this matter should end, right?” Chen Feng said smilingly.

“Not necessarily. The Immortal Plane might not be willing to let this slide. They might choose to keep sending men after us. If they are willing to pay the price, they can utilize some secret techniques to send a real True Immortal down. Then, we’ll probably die.” Bi Qing was not feeling too optimistic about it. 

“A True Immortal? We are indeed incapable of fighting a real True Immortal, but even for a real True Immortal, killing us will not be easy. Unless the Immortal Plane has the courage to risk losing a True Immortal here.” 

“When it comes down to it, a True Immortal is actually not that important in the Immortal Plane.”

As Chen Feng and Bi Qing were discussing the issue, the four golden-armoured cultivators did not rush forward to attack. Instead, they moved to surround Chen Feng and Bi Qing from four different directions.

Chen Feng held the Longevity Tower in his hand, standing side by side with Bi Qing. The 36 Immortal artifacts were floating around them, with runes linking them up. As for Chen Feng, he was occupying the most important array core position.

“Let’s finish off these four fellows first,” Chen Feng said, waving his hand. The 36 Immortal artifacts thrummed and the great array spun into action to quickly form a sword.

“It probably won’t be that easy, unless you are willing to make contact with the Celestial Longevity Plane,” Bi Qing said.

“I’d be committing suicide.” Chen Feng laughed. With a flick of his finger, the sword shot towards one of the golden-armoured cultivators. This attack contained not just the power of Immortal artifacts. Chen Feng had also mixed in the power of True laws into this attack.

Chen Feng had only just figured out this way of fighting. Using the power of True laws to fight True Immortals. That was the best way to go about this. Naturally, he was still not confident in his ability to kill his opponents. What he wanted was to buy some time. He still had another card up his sleeve. Only, some more time was needed.

“My time limit is almost up,” Bi Qing said. However, he did not slow down at all. Sword light swept forward to instantly envelope two golden-armoured cultivators.

As mentioned earlier, Bi Qing could link up to the Celestial Clearblue Plane to receive the support of the Celestial Clearblue Plane. Chen Feng, on the other hand, dared not utilize the same move. The Longevity Tower was simply too important. He could not afford to make a single mistake when it came to the Longevity Tower.

“Four against two. We can easily deal with this. One is a cultivator from the Celestial Clearblue Plane while the other is a cultivator from the Celestial Longevity Plane. We will have earned ourselves a great merit this time.”

“I’ll deal with this kid. You three, go handle the other one.”

“Not a problem.”

Due to the golden-armoured cultivators’ actions, Chen Feng did not have to face too much pressure. Bi Qing, on the other hand, ended up in a miserable state. Just one exchange left him seriously wounded.

“Senior, endure for just one breath’s worth of time!” Chen Feng sent a secret vocal transmission to him.

“I’ll do my best.”

Chen Feng’s eyes were focused. He had already pushed himself beyond his limits and the 36 Immortal artifacts swirled around him. In the face of the power radiating from them, his opponent dared not recklessly approach him.

“Senior Dark, are you done with your preparations? It is time,” Chen Feng secretly called out.

No response. However, a black passageway suddenly and silently appeared behind the golden-armoured cultivator. Next, a pitch-black paw emerged from it and grasped, firmly catching the golden-armoured cultivator.
