This divine lightning was even more powerful compared to the lightning from Heavenly Tribulation. The two Divine Manifold Magbolt attacks were followed by several more clumps of Divine Manifold Magbolts. Their formidable power aside, they were also highly peculiar, making it hard for the cultivators to detect the incoming attacks.

Amongst the four Ascendant Immortals, Zi Doutian, who came here with his real body, was the most worried of them all. In the worst-case scenario, the others would only lose their clones. It was something that they could recover through cultivation. However, if he were to die here, that would spell the end of the road for him.

As the four of them were in a wretched state, the Longevity Tower secretly captured the Divine Manifold Magbolts that had appeared all of a sudden. After several breaths’ worth of time, tens of the clumps of Divine Manifold Magbolts had been brought into the Longevity Tower.

These highly destructive divine lightning powers could kill off even Ascendant Immortals. At that very moment, however, they could do nothing as the Longevity Tower devoured and refined them.

It was then that Ascendant Immortal Max Yang was struck by one of the Divine Manifold Magbolt attacks, causing his body to tumble backwards. Coincidentally, his figure tumbled towards the Longevity Tower.

Next, Ascendant Immortal Max Yang was brought into the Longevity Tower. As he was getting pulled in, the power of the Divine artifact of the Celestial Ardent Yang Plane, the Divine Sun Furnace, activated. It collided against the Longevity Tower. However, due to the magnetic region, the amount of power that the Divine artifact could exert was affected and it could not contend with the Longevity Tower that was right there.

Due to that, Ascendant Immortal Max Yang ended up getting pulled into the Longevity Tower. Even before falling to the floor, Ascendant Immortal Max Yang was already in a half-dead state, courtesy of the shockwaves from the collisions between the two Divine artifacts earlier.

Power converged and a talisman the size of a small mountain appeared to press Ascendant Immortal Max Yang down to the floor before ceaselessly sucking away the power inside him.

Seeing that, those who had been preparing themselves for a fight gaped. Even Chen Feng felt somewhat awkward. “Cough! I didn’t expect something like this to happen. Still, this is a good thing. There is no need for us to exert ourselves for this. However, there are still three more outside.”

Ascendant Immortal Max Yang was in utter misery. He was only able to let out a few cries before the suction force sucked him dry, leaving only a thin human skin behind. For the Longevity Tower, however, there were plenty of impurities even within an Ascendant Immortal.

“The other three are now prepared. They will not be easy to deal with. A pity, we only managed to pull in one just now.” Chen Feng shook his head.

“That’s easy.” Tower said and an indescribable aura emanated out from his body. Instantly, the Longevity Tower, which had been tumbling about aimlessly, stopped. Next, it rotated slowly as it moved in a seemingly slow manner through the magnetic forces. However, it managed to appear before Ascendant Immortal Alpha in just the blink of an eye.

A Longevity Whip, formed using a stream of light, heavily smashed down on Ascendant Immortal Alpha’s body.

Instantly, Ascendant Immortal Alpha’s body burst with an eye-piercing light as his figure was knocked backwards, blood spraying out from his mouth. Surprisingly, the energy shield encasing his body remained intact.

“Guys, help!” Ascendant Immortal Alpha had only just shouted those words when a sudden attack by one of the Divine Manifold Magbolts knocked him back again.

Some of the Divine Manifold Magbolts also struck the Longevity Tower. However, the Longevity Tower simply released a suction force to absorb them all. It was none other than the Heavengulping Absorption Technique. This move from the Longevity Tower far surpassed that of Chen Feng. For the Longevity Tower, the Divine Manifold Magbolt powers were supplements for it.

Both Nameless Brahma and Zi Doutian knew that the situation was not looking good. They wanted to take action, but had no strength left to help. Thus, they could only watch as the Longevity Tower devoured Ascendant Immortal Alpha as well.

Ascendant Immortal Alpha suffered the same fate as Ascendant Immortal Max Yang. His essence, energy and soul power were drained away and the power of the Divine artifact on him was refined as well. Like Ascendant Immortal Max Yang, he also left a sword behind.

“This sword contains the power of the Celestial Imperial Plane. However, it also contains a hint of void powers, giving it a softer and more fleeting quality. This one is suitable for the Divine Phantom Mink.” Chen Feng then waved his hand to send it to the third floor of the Longevity Tower, where it lay there quietly.

Nameless Brahma and Zi Doutian exchanged glances. Then, clenching their teeth, they began burning their own essence power. Using this formidable power, they linked up to their homeworlds once again. Although this failed to let them charge out, it did cause two more streams of Divine artifact power to descend upon them again, further empowering them.

The two of them grew even stronger and faster, allowing them to blast apart the surrounding magnetic forces. Even the several clumps of Divine Manifold Magbolts coming at them were all shattered apart.

Next, they ran. Even though their strength had risen, neither one of them had any intentions of fighting the Longevity Tower.

The Longevity Tower had killed off too many Ascendant Immortals. Even if the two of them were twice as powerful, they were still not confident in their chances of winning. At that very moment, they had recalled just how powerful the Longevity Tower was in the legends.

“I’m personally hoping that those two can escape.” Chen Feng laughed.

“That’s not possible,” Tower replied.

As Tower predicted, the power coursing through Nameless Brahma and Zi Doutian’s bodies gradually subsided. Even though that power had allowed them to charge through a considerable distance, they had still failed to make it out from the magnetic region.

Just as their speed was faltering, a stream of light flashed forward, smashing against Nameless Brahma’s body. Due to that, Nameless Brahma’s protective energy shield swelled before bursting apart.

Yet another stream of light shot forward, piercing a large hole through Nameless Brahma’s body.

“Oh, no! Hurry forward!” Chen Feng shouted.

“Too late.”

As expected, yet another stream of light shot forward to pierce his head and body. Due to this attack, the vitality within Nameless Brahma’s body rapidly disappeared. Even the Immortal artifact on his person was shattered by this sudden attack.

“It could even shatter Immortal artifacts! This is bad!” Chen Feng exclaimed.

Seeing what happened to Nameless Brahma, Zi Doutian gritted his teeth. Next, he turned around and rushed towards the Longevity Tower.

“He’s gone crazy.” Chen Feng chuckled.

“No. Staying outside means certain death. However, by entering the Longevity Tower, he might gain a chance to live, however small that chance may be,” Bi Qing replied with a smile.

However, before Zi Doutian could approach the Longevity Tower, the streams of light appeared again. The first stream of light flashed forward and Zi Doutian’s Immortal artifact was shattered into pieces.

The second stream of light flashed forward and half of Zi Doutian’s torso disappeared.

The third stream of light flashed forward and only Zi Doutian’s head was left.

The fourth stream of light appeared. Seeing that, the light in Zi Doutian’s eye turned deathly grey.

“He’s a goner.” Chen Feng sighed.

Contrary to Chen Feng’s expectations, a wave of bloody-purple light suddenly emerged from Zi Doutian’s sea of wisdom. It was only a faint sphere of bloody-purple light, but it managed to stop the seemingly invincible stream of light.

Next, the sphere of bloody-purple light encased Zi Doutian before disappearing from sight.

Seeing that stunned Chen Feng and the others.

“The Heavenly law of a Heavenly Immortal. Unexpectedly, this kid actually has the imprint of a Heavenly Immortal within his sea of wisdom,” Bi Qing said smilingly. He was also somewhat stunned to see that.

“That fellow has most likely left this magnetic region. We are the only ones left here. Still, if just the imprint of a Heavenly Immortal is enough to charge out, this magnetic region is probably not that strong.”

“You can’t say that.” Tower turned around to reveal a rather serious look on his face.

“Given my current level of strength, I do not have the confidence in my ability to charge out. Even so, the other guy will also not have an easy time against me.”
