“That’s not right! You’re still the one with the upper hand here. After all, our academy’s great arrays are very strong. The way I see it, even Earthen Immortals would be suppressed by them.

“If you still cannot defeat me under such conditions, those rumours of you being the reincarnation of an Immortal Human would be nothing more than just rumours. Even if it isn’t, you must be some trash-tier Immortal Human! Are Human Immortals qualified to be called Immortal Humans now?!

“Ha ha ha ha!”

The words coming out from Chen Feng’s mouth grew increasingly savage, but his heart became increasingly calm instead.

Chen Feng had a feeling. After this major incident, he will no longer be able to continue staying in Absolute Academy. If that was the case, he would just escalate it even further. Sword Immortal Azuretip and the others who were plotting against him will not have a happy ending.

As Chen Feng had already made up his mind, he would not falter. 

“Chen Feng seems to have changed somehow,” Xie Hongyan and Luo Pianpian, who were beside Lan Ling, whispered.

“Naturally. His cultivation base has risen so quickly,” Feng Jian and Tie Yuan quickly chimed in.

Pondering the issue for a moment, Lan Ling then said, “This is not due to the rise in his cultivation base. I can sense that Chen Feng himself has changed somewhat. Maybe it is due to the things he had experienced in the past few years.”

“Senior Sister Lan Ling, are you also interested in Chen Feng?” Hu Xian’er looked at Chen Feng, her pair of beautiful eyes shining brilliantly.

“Chen Feng is on a completely different realm from us. The first time I met him, he was only at the Sky Human stage. His cultivation level was below me. And yet, after just a short time, he has reached the high-level Human Immortal stage while I am still only at the starter-level Human Immortal stage.”

Lan Ling then sighed. “This gap between us will only grow bigger and bigger.”

Hearing Lan Ling’s words, Hu Xian’er’s face took on a dejected look. She had always been very interested in Chen Feng. At present, however, it would appear that such a thing was impossible. 

After considering it for a moment, Hu Xian’er then asked, “Do you think Chen Feng can overcome this crisis?”

“At present, even though Chen Feng’s opponents have the advantage in numbers, they do not appear to be his match. I am just afraid that the seniors of our academy would take action.”

“However, since Chen Feng is doing this, he must already be prepared.”

“Yes. He must surely have some cards up his sleeves. The way I see it, Sword Immortal Azuretip and the others will not be able to get an easy win today.” Marquis Scarletfire walked over.

“Chen Feng possesses a magic treasure that’s even stronger than a Dao artefact on him,” Bi Shuidie spoke up.

“Stronger than a Dao artefact?! That means an Immortal artefact!” Everyone there grew shocked.

“However, our academy also possesses Immortal artefacts. If both sides were to mobilize their Immortal artefacts, a disaster will befall this place.”

“Alright! Let’s not talk so much and watch how things develop instead. Chen Feng has his own force and territory in the ocean region. I believe that the higher-ups of our academy will not casually turn on him.”

As they were discussing the issue, Chen Feng was fighting against Immortal Skyfire. Chen Feng controlled the Deepsea Maelstrom to block the force of the surrounding great arrays while brandishing the Aquafire Lance to fight Immortal Skyfire.

Even though Chen Feng was able to gain the upper hand, he was not able to quickly defeat Immortal Skyfire. It was all because of the great arrays, which were growing increasingly strong.

This fellow is truly capable. The lance in Chen Feng’s hand swung out as he displayed the Longevity Lance Technique to once again force Immortal Skyfire to give ground. 

Seeing Immortal Skyfire on the verge of losing, Sword Immortal Azuretip and Sage Aquafire exchanged glances. After secretly discussing something, they brought out a token, which they then hurled forward.

Pa!

The token exploded, releasing a dazzling light as a result and a massive ‘command’ character hovered in the sky, growing bigger and bigger before descending on Chen Feng.

The magic arrays corresponded with the ‘command’ character and grew stronger before forming a cage that could seemingly entrap the whole world.

Boom!

Due to that, a mountainous pressure bore down on Chen Feng. Power descended unceasingly to shake his figure and the Deepsea Maelstrom shrank again. Even the rate at which it was spinning had become slightly chaotic. 

As Chen Feng’s figure was shaken by this attack, he was no longer capable of unleashing his moves. Immortal Skyfire, on the other hand, made use of this opportunity to unleash a series of attacks, putting Chen Feng on the back foot.

“Shameless!” Marquis Scarletfire shouted.

“You fellows already said that this is a one-on-one fight! To think that you fellows would besiege him instead! What a shameful display! I really wonder how people with such character could cultivate up to this level.”

Sword Immortal Azuretip and Sage Aquafire maintained an impassive look on their faces and they brought out another token. Similarly, this token also exploded. This time, it did not form the ‘command’ character. Instead, it was the ‘subdue’ character.

The two tokens were items forged by the peak-level experts of Absolute Academy, to be used in tandem with the magic arrays against rebellious students.

Rumble!

The ground sank and Chen Feng’s whole body shook. Even the muscles on his face had become contorted.

Bang!

The Scarlet Dragon Staff in Immortal Skyfire’s hand struck Chen Feng’s body.

Due to the blow, the Deepsea Maelstrom became affected, seemingly on the verge of dispersing. As for Chen Feng, his whole figure was blasted into the ground. The Scarlet Dragon Staff had smashed him directly underground. 

“The Scarlet Dragon Staff in Immortal Skyfire’s hand is a top-grade Dao artefact while that fellow is not even an Earthen Immortal. That blow should have smashed him good, right?”

“The way I see it, there is no way to tell.”

“Oh, no!” Marquis Scarletfire and the others grew anxious and they attempted to charge forward only to be stopped by the cultivators from the Enforcement Division. Just as they were about to get into a fight, however, something happened.

“Eh?”

Immortal Skyfire was about to press the advantage when his face suddenly froze. A hand had suddenly shot up from the ground to grab his Scarlet Dragon Staff.

Sou!

A formidable force snatched the Scarlet Dragon Staff away and it disappeared, having entered a strange space.

“Eh?” Immortal Skyfire stared at his empty palm. His face turned pale and he instantly knew that the situation did not bode well for him. He wanted to run away, but he also could not bear to part with his magic treasure.

And so, the Aquafire Lance swung forward to send Immortal Skyfire flying. His figure smashed into a group of cultivators with such momentum that some of them ended up spraying out blood.

Chen Feng emerged from the ground, faint-yellow energy streams encasing his entire body. With a wave of his hand, the Scarlet Dragon Staff appeared in his grasp. At that very moment, all the seals within the Scarlet Dragon Staff had been destroyed. Even though it was still radiating an eye-piercing light, it remained still as Chen Feng held it.

“A decent magic treasure. It contains the power of wood and fire. There is also a hint of a dragon’s might in it. Tsk, tsk. A pity, you are incapable of fully utilizing even one of its various powers.” 

“Leaving such a good magic treasure in your hands is a waste. So, this is mine now.” Chen Feng then kept the Scarlet Dragon Staff.

“Argh!”

Immortal Skyfire bellowed, wanting nothing more than to rush forward and give it his all to fight Chen Feng. However, the cultivators around him held him back.

“Tsk, tsk. Are you fellows here to give me presents today? What other presents are there? Just bring it out. I will gladly take them all.” Chen Feng laughed. The ‘command’ and ‘subdue’ characters hovering above him had been shattered apart by the faint-yellow energy streams around him while the Deepsea Maelstrom had already recovered.

Immortal Skyfire had suffered from a serious defeat. Even his magic treasure had been snatched away. Seeing that caused the faces of Sword Immortal Azuretip and Sage Aquafire to contort to the extreme. They knew that this force they brought with them would be no match for Chen Feng. Not even swarming him with numbers would work. Even a peak-level Human Immortal had been defeated. Those starter-level and mid-level Human Immortals would only be asking for a beating.

“Break!”

Chen Feng roared and the Deepsea Maelstrom grew bigger once more, causing the surrounding magic arrays to break apart. Chen Feng chuckled as he lifted the Aquafire Lance to jab at the cultivators standing in his path and he put on a display of utter arrogance.

Boom!

Suddenly, the sky turned dark and a massive seal appeared up in the sky. The seal was made of unknown materials and there was a depiction of towering mountains, torrential rivers and swirling clouds on it. It emanated a quaint and grand aura, like immortal mountains. It also gave off the impression that an entire world had been compressed to create it.

Several cultivators stood on top of the seal. Appearance wise, each of them were standing on one of the seal’s mountaintops. They looked down upon the world, giving off the atmosphere of lofty existences.

“That’s the Seal of Mountains and Rivers! Our academy’s sect guardian treasure! That’s an Immortal artefact!” Marquis Scarletfire cried out.

So, they decided to bring out an Immortal artefact in the end. Chen Feng shook his head and sighed.

All first-rate sects and families would have Immortal artefacts for protection. What else could be expected from Absolute Academy? Absolute Academy’s possession of certain Immortal artefacts was common knowledge for them and this Seal of Mountains and Rivers was one of them.

Truth be told, if it weren’t for Chen Feng’s relationship with Heavenly Premier Absolute and the fact that he did not want to expose his trump card, something that would shock the world, he would have brought out the Longevity Tower to suppress and devour this Seal of Mountains and Rivers.

It was an Immortal artefact, after all. Devouring it would increase the Longevity Tower’s power somewhat.

“Chen Feng, you need to be careful. Hurry up and escape!” Marquis Scarletfire sent Chen Feng a secret vocal transmission.

“That’s an Immortal artefact. Not to mention, there are several elders empowering it. Every single one of those elders is at the Earthen Immortal stage.”

“Don’t worry, I know what I am doing.” Chen Feng responded.

“Chen Feng, are you still not going to come in quietly? You have committed a serious crime. Are you not aware?” A strict voice spread out from the Seal of Mountains and Rivers, reverberating with great force to shake everyone’s souls.

“I wonder, what crime did I commit?” Chen Feng said smilingly. His calm demeanour caused some of the observing students to wonder what was giving him such confidence.

“Killing the students of the academy, is that not a crime?”

“Where’s the evidence?”

“You will be given the evidence. But now, you must be investigated. Also, you wounded those from the Enforcement Division earlier, thereby increasing the crimes on you. Come forth and admit to your crimes and you will be able to lessen it somewhat.”

“My crimes? What a joke! If I am not mistaken, you fellows are here on behalf of some students, no? Just go ahead and attack! Let me see what abilities you elders possess! I would like to see if you are worth your titles!” Chen Feng laughed.

“Insolence!”

A stream of energy emerged from the Seal of Mountains and Rivers to quickly take on a square shape. On its surface was also an image of mountains and rivers and it descended upon Chen Feng.

At that very moment, Chen Feng had already kept the Aquafire Lance. He had even kept the Deepsea Maelstrom that was protecting him. The two magic treasures were simply lacking in the face of an Immortal artefact.

Another lance appeared in Chen Feng’s hand. This time, however, the appearance of the lance caused the world to shake. With a thrust of the lance, the attack from the Seal of Mountains and Rivers was blown apart.

The majestic might of Immortal artefacts spread out and Chen Feng’s grotto-mansion and everything within a radius of over 5,000 kilometres was flattened. Some of the nearby cultivators were forced to flee as fast as they can.
