Surface wise, it would appear as though Jue Wushen was here to trouble Chen Feng. However, his true objective was to take East Dragon Island for himself.

Seeing Chen Feng appear there, Jue Wushen was secretly shocked. However, he was confident that the forces on his side was strong enough that he could absolutely defeat Chen Feng. Thus, after falling into a stunned state for a moment, Jue Wushen laughed. “Chen Feng! If you hadn’t appeared and just found a place to hide, I would have no way to deal with you. However, now that you have decided to come out, only death awaits you.”

“Oh? You say that only death awaits me?” An ambiguous smile appeared on Chen Feng’s face.

Chen Feng’s eyes then shone and his gaze swept across some of the cultivators there. “Based on these people you brought along? A bunch of defeated soldiers are all I see.” 

In addition to Jue Wushen, Lan Hai, Dao Jun, Gui Liubing, Young Master Feng Liu, characters that he had defeated in the past, there were several more wicked characters that Chen Feng had never seen before.

The reason Chen Feng determined that they were wicked characters was because he could sense strong killing energy coming off them. It was a sign that they had killed too many people before.

All of them were Human Immortals. In fact, a few amongst them were mid-level Human Immortals whose cultivation bases were in no way inferior to Jue Wushen.

Heh! Those fellows are likely not students of Absolute Academy. And then there are the attackers on the island. Judging by their appearances and the auras they are emitting, they are most likely bandits. Jue Wushen must have gathered them up from the Absolute Mountain Range. Chen Feng’s shone brightly and he was able to quickly make an informed judgement of the situation.

However, where did Netherpython and the others go to?

That was the issue puzzling Chen Feng the most. Before leaving, Chen Feng had left eight Demon Kings to defend East Dragon Island. All eight of them were at the peak-level Demon King (Human) stage. Even if only one of them had remained, Jue Wushen’s group would have to reconsider their decision to attack East Dragon Island.

Seemingly having sensed Chen Feng’s thoughts, Jian Xiaotian sent Chen Feng a secret vocal transmission, giving him a brief account of what had happened.

So, we have been expanding too quickly recently. Due to that, we attracted the attention of some formidable far ocean forces. The water yaos from other ocean regions came to attack us. Due to that, Netherpython and the others set out to fight them. However, they did not expect that Jue Wushen and his group would suddenly come to plunder the burning house. After understanding the whole issue, Chen Feng instantly broke into a smile.

These fellows sure are persistent. Thankfully, I came back when I did, otherwise they would have succeeded. Fine. This time, I will kill them off to save myself the trouble of having others try the same thing. After making up his mind, Chen Feng’s killing intent rose. As he had advanced to the mid-level Human Immortal stage, his now formidable strength allowed his atmosphere of power to grow to an even greater degree.

“Defeated soldiers!”

Hearing that, the faces of Jue Wushen and the others sank. Jue Wushen then revealed a savage grin and strode forward, wanting to capture Chen Feng.

In Jue Wushen’s opinion, Chen Feng was already a dead man.

However, not everyone believed that. Seeing the confident smile on Chen Feng’s face, Lan Hai’s heart lurched as a foreboding sensation rose up to the fore.

Does Chen Feng still have a hidden card up his sleeve? That must be the case! This fellow is too confident! What should I do? Should I attack? Lan Hai, who possessed the highest cultivation base amongst all the attackers there, began hesitating.

Certain cultivators, by dint of their high cultivation bases, or some insight into the dao of cultivation, or a keen sense granted to them innately, could sense the arrival of danger. Lan Hai was one such character. In fact, this keen sense had allowed him to escape from dangers before in the past.

By then, Lan Hai no longer had any desire to attack Chen Feng. However, Jue Wushen suddenly attacked Chen Feng instead. Thus, Lan Hai had no choice but to observe the situation first.

Bang!

What happened next unfolded quickly. The *** in Jue Wushen’s hand flared with a dazzling light as they clashed. Next, the *** was sent flying.

Before they could even react to what happened earlier, Jue Wushen himself was sent flying. As his figure was hurtling through the air, it burst apart, transforming into a mist of blood.

Chen Feng then performed a grasping motion and all the essence, energy and soul power there flew into his palm, where they all compressed into a small bead. Jue Wushen’s soul, caught in Chen Feng’s grasp, was shattered apart. He did not even get the chance to struggle or shout before dissipating away.

“What?!”

Lan Hai and the others cried out in shock. Were they dreaming? This was beyond their expectations.

Who was Jue Wushen? He was a mid-level Human Immortal wielding a Dao artefact. And yet, he was killed off with just one punch, a very simplistic punch. It was not some profound secret technique, but just a punch. In the end, even his soul had dissipated away.

If so, just how powerful was Chen Feng now?

In the beginning, it was shock. Then, came the fear.

“Chen Feng! You dare kill Jue Wushen? You’re a dead man! You’re killing a fellow student! Even running to the ends of the earth will not save you now!” Young Master Feng Liu suddenly shouted.

“Die.”

Chen Feng’s figure abruptly flashed forward and he released another punch. In the eyes of all present, it was a very simple-looking punch. However, the entire world seemingly disappeared due to the punch.

“Cosmic Sleeve!”

Young Master Feng Liu then unleashed his strongest move. At the same time, he also unleashed a strand of grand dao powers.

However, it was useless. Chen Feng punched out again and space itself twisted and the Cosmic Sleeve move from Young Master Feng Liu was instantly broken. Next, Chen Feng’s fist landed upon Young Master Feng Liu’s body.

“No!”

Young Master Feng Liu screamed in horror. However, his voice came to an abrupt halt. Next, his body blew up with a bang as he met the same fate as Jue Wushen.

“Attack together!”

Chen Feng’s figure disappeared. Upon his re-appearance, another cultivator was killed.

“Too weak!”

Chen Feng said coolly. He did not utilize any secret techniques. Instead, he simply utilized simplistic attacks against them. Unfortunately for them, Chen Feng’s fleshly body was simply too strong. Every heartbeat would generate a formidable amount of power for Chen Feng. Both his hands grasped and another cultivator was ripped apart from head to the groin. 

It was an extremely violent sight to behold. It was simply a slaughter fest. Chen Feng continued attacking and Dao Jun, Gui Liubing and several other Human Immortals were killed off.

Lan Hai was the only one who had chosen to stand still, not attacking Chen Feng. He also did not choose to run away. Instead, he simply watched Chen Feng with an impassive face. There was no telling what was on his mind.

Giving Lan Hai a glance, Chen Feng then chose not to attack him. Instead, he turned around and began butchering the other cultivators. Chen Feng killed off the few remaining Human Immortals. As for the remaining Sky Human stage cultivators, they were all knocked unconscious by Chen Feng’s soul attack. Chen Feng would deal with them later. Rather, killing off cultivators at that level was beneath Chen Feng.

Chen Feng then came to stand before Lan Hai. Smiling, he said, “Lan Hai, what do you have to say?”

“I hope you can let me go. I am willing to pay any price,” Lan Hai said calmly.

“Any price?” Chen Feng laughed.

“If you kill us all off, you will unlikely be incapable of explaining yourself to the academy. By letting me go, I can cooperate with you and come up with a lie for this incident. That way, Absolute Academy will not find out it’s you.

“You should know. Although you are strong, you are still far from capable of fighting against a Holyland like Absolute Academy.”

“There is no need for me to fight Absolute Academy. There is something you might not be aware of, but even if I kill every single one of you, the higher-ups of Absolute Academy will not punish me for it. Do you believe me?” Chen Feng thought back to Heavenly Premier Absolute.

In Chen Feng’s opinion, incidents where the students of the academy fight to the death every now and again was a normal thing. Thus, the death of a few students should not be an issue. If it really came down to it, he would simply have to ask Heavenly Premier Absolute for help.

Seeing the look of nonchalance on Chen Feng’s face, Lan Hai finally started panicking. He was uncertain if Chen Feng simply didn’t care or if Chen Feng possessed a backer. However, since Chen Feng had not hesitated to kill off Jue Wushen and the others, killing him off as well should not be an issue for Chen Feng.

“Since you did not attack me earlier, I hope that you can spare my life. At any rate, a living person is more valuable compared to a dead person.” Lan Hai finally stopped putting on a strong front and he began begging earnestly for mercy.

“You are correct. A living person is more valuable compared to a dead person.” Chen Feng smiled.

Hearing that, Lan Hai’s face revealed a hint of delight.

“So, you will not be killing me?”

“Yes. However, you will need to show me your worth. How about this? I cannot simply let you go just like this. I want to leave some seals in your soul,” Chen Feng said coolly.

Lan Hai sighed. He was aware that those without power must submit to those with power. Thus, he simply nodded and said nothing else.

Chen Feng’s eyes shone and his soul power surged out to quickly place some seals within Lan Hai’s sea of wisdom.

“All right. You head back to Absolute Academy first. Just think about how you’re going to cover up this whole thing. Although I am not afraid of having this matter becoming exposed, not having any troubles is always a good thing. After all, I don’t feel like dealing with it.” Chen Feng then waved him off.

“Yes!” Lan Hai nodded his head, his face impassive. Then, he left.

Chen Feng did not feel burdened at killing those fellows earlier. Next, he went towards Jian Xiaotian and the others. Truth be told, when he appeared earlier, he had already inspected the wounds on them all. Thus, he already had a rough estimate on their situation.

Stepping forward, he did not ask anything. Instead, he brought out some spiritual herbs to quickly help the cultivators from East Dragon Island.

He worked on it for two whole hours.

“Chen Feng, this is enough. There is no need to worry so much about us. You should go check out the other places. The Demon Kings might require assistance.” After Chen Feng was able to get a breather, Jian Xiaotian came over to quickly inform him.

“It’s that serious?” Chen Feng asked smilingly.

“It is probably quite serious, otherwise they would not have all left. It is because not a single one of them are here that some fellows would try to take advantage of the situation,” Ye Ziming said.

“Since those who tried to take advantage of the situation have been dealt with, I will go check up on the other places. You fellows take care of your injuries.” Chen Feng’s eyes shone and he flashed away from sight.

Seeing Chen Feng go to assist the Demon Kings, Jian Xiaotian and the others breathed a sigh of relief.

“Unexpectedly, Brother Chen would be able to level up again. He is now already a mid-level Human Immortal. This is too fast. I am no longer capable of catching up to him,” Jian Xiaotian said with a wry smile.

“Isn’t that the case for everyone else? The way I see it, it is not a simple matter of levelling up. The speed at which he was throwing out punches earlier was simply too fast. The enemies did not have the time to even fight back. Chen Feng’s fleshly body must have grown at least ten times stronger.”

“Ten times? Isn’t that too outrageous?”

Moving away from their discussion, Chen Feng moved swiftly, heading to the other islands. As expected, there were enemies on every island. All of the enemies were water yaos and monsters from the ocean. However, the number of enemies was so high that Chen Feng ended up frowning.
