“Just four minor starter-level Ascendant Immortals. If I am at my full strength, I can kill all of you with just one punch,” the Wicked Barbarian Deity said with a sneer.

“Demonic barbarian deity! You are already wounded. And yet, you still dare spout such boastful words?” Heavenly Premier Eternal responded with a scoff.

“Now is not the time for a fight. Just wait until I have obtained the Immortal Warsoul Palace,” the Wicked Barbarian Deity said, his body abruptly growing in size as energy streams swirled around him. Next, he pushed and the energy streams surged forward to assail the four Heavenly Premiers. Following that, he leapt forward, charging towards the palace.

In just half the blink of an eye, he had already arrived before the palace. Next, he reached out with his hand and grasped.

Weng!

The Immortal Warsoul Palace shook violently. However, it did not send the Wicked Barbarian Deity flying.

Speaking of which, the master of this Immortal Warsoul Palace, Star Monarch Warsoul, was only a mid-level Ascendant Immortal, the same level as the Wicked Barbarian Deity. Normally, the Wicked Barbarian Deity should be able to easily collect the item that he had left behind. Unfortunately, the Wicked Barbarian Deity was still wounded. Thus, it would be difficult for him to collect this palace. At the very least, it could not be done quickly.

The four Heavenly Premiers attacked simultaneously, breaking apart the energy wave assailing them while attacking the Wicked Barbarian Deity.

Just as the attacks from the four Ascendant Immortals were about to reach the Wicked Barbarian Deity’s body, the Wicked Barbarian Deity’s broad shoulders pulsed and he disappeared.

Their four attacks struck the immortal palace at the same time, causing it to shake even as it was rapidly blasted backwards. Layer after layer of ice broke apart in its wake to leave a massive passageway.

“What are you spacing out for? Hurry up and attack!” the Wicked Barbarian Deity shouted at Immortal Monarch Starfire before punching forward to fire out a fist blast at Heavenly Premier Heavensight.

Immortal Monarch Starfire hesitated for a moment. In the end, he brandished his flaming forked spear and charged forward. His target, Heavenly Premier Four Cardinals.

Truth be told, if the Wicked Barbarian Deity and Immortal Monarch Starfire were at full strength, they would not have viewed the four aborigines as a threat. Unfortunately, the Wicked Barbarian Deity had yet to fully recover his full strength. Immortal Monarch Starfire, on the other hand, was worse off. He had been wounded again and again. Thus, he was incapable of even wielding half of his normal strength at the moment.

Boom! Boom!

That one confrontation utterly decimated the ice field, which spanned a radius of 5,000 kilometres. A few breaths’ later, the ice field disappeared, leaving only a gargantuan crater there.

This battle is not something I can participate in. A faint, semi-transparent pair of wings appeared on Chen Feng’s back.

That was none other than the Longevity Wings. Chen Feng had only managed to condense it out by borrowing the Longevity Tower’s power. However, even this was far from the minor success phase. In fact, he had yet to even take a step forward in regards to his cultivation of the technique.

And yet, despite his near-insignificant mastery of the technique, a thought from Chen Feng was all he needed to flap the wings slightly, bringing him somewhere 500 kilometres away. In just the blink of an eye, Chen Feng flashed forward a few times, covering a distance of over 5,000 kilometres. Even so, Chen Feng could still feel strong winds blowing towards him. The strong winds were produced from the clash between the Ascendant Immortals. Everywhere the strong winds went, towering trees and mountains formed from hard stone were reduced to powder. They were so weak that it seemed as though they had never existed.

Planet Voidsoul shook and some of the cultivators who were training there grew alarmed. As for the creatures native to the planet, they panicked and started running around chaotically.

“Students from the Four Great Holylands, head to the teleportation passageway and return to Eternal World. This planet will be blowing up soon.” Heavenly Premier Eternal sent his imprint power spreading across the entire planet.

Next, his imprint transformed into energy to wrap around the students from Eternal Academy, quickly transporting them to the teleportation array.

Likewise, the Heavenly Premiers Four Cardinals, Absolute and Heavensight also split off a wave of imprint power respectively to transport their students away.

Everyone there were astounded by this magnificent display of magic. Some who were more experienced instantly speculated that this was the work of an Ascendant Immortal. Thus, they did not hesitate to quickly enter the passageway and return to Eternal World.

Soon enough, almost all of the cultivators on the planet had left. Chen Feng, however, remained. Earlier, the imprint from Heavenly Premier Absolute had also acted upon Chen Feng only for Chen Feng to forcibly break out. With the Heaven Piercing Lance – an Immortal artefact – in his hand, not even Heavenly Premier Absolute could control Chen Feng’s movements. Moreover, he was still in the midst of a battle. Thus, he could not divert too much of his power.

The Immortal Warsoul Palace charged out to hover in mid-air, growing bigger in size while emanating the formidable atmosphere of an Immortal artefact. It appeared as though the attacks from the Ascendant Immortals that had accidentally struck it earlier had triggered an abnormal reaction.

The immortal palace descended like a million-zhang-tall mountain, smashing down against the ground. The entire planet shook as it went off orbit due to the impact while cracks began appearing across its surface.

Most of the creatures residing on the planet were killed off by the shockwaves.

Some who possessed slightly stronger powers gave it their all to fly out from Planet Voidsoul, charging into space with the hopes of overcoming this calamity. Certainly, space was a dangerous place and the act of exploring space would most likely end in death. Even so, a high chance of death was preferable to certain death.

A few amongst those formidable existences were in fact, Earthen Immortals. They were also the existences meant to train the students from the Four Great Holylands. However, upon sensing the aura of Ascendant Immortals, all of the Earthen Immortals meekly ran.

The only exception within the whole planet was likely Chen Feng.

“Sigh! This is the treasure I found. Unexpectedly, others would end up competing for it. Tower, can you collect this palace?” Chen Feng secretly asked.

“I can collect it. However, we will not be able to escape their murderous pursuit,” Tower gave a simple reply.

“Fine, then. We should just watch the show. Getting some gains from this will be good enough. As for the immortal palace, forget about it.” Chen Feng shook his head. Next, his eyes shone and his gaze peered through the chaotic streams of stormy energy to observe the battle.

Cultivators who had cultivated up to the Ascendant Immortal stage would be able to utterly break free from the worldly shackles binding them and ascend to the Immortal Plane. They would also have the ability to protect themselves when exploring the cosmos. Additionally, they would also be able to open up a world within their bodies and refine their own worldly powers. Their life essence was far above that of Earthen Immortals and their life span could go beyond a million years, with a primary spirit that was practically inextinguishable.

Cultivators at this level could no longer be described as possessing the power to rearrange mountains and upheave the seas. No. Every move they make could destroy a small planet. Thus, with six Ascendant Immortals fighting against one another, the destruction of a mid-sized life-bearing planet like Planet Voidsoul was just a matter of time.

“Kid, this planet is about to be destroyed. This is also a good opportunity for you,” Tower suddenly said.

“I understand. You are referring to cosmic essence power. I had already sensed it earlier. This planet does indeed contain essence power. However, it is inside the planet’s core. I will have to wait for them to blow up this planet.” Chen Feng smiled.

“Only, what is that thing calling out to me?”

The battle grew increasingly fierce and the attacks thrown about sent the Immortal Warsoul Palace flying around. If it weren’t for the fact that the immortal palace was durable enough, it would have been destroyed by their attacks long ago.

Immortal Monarch Starfire was the first to be blown away. Terribly wounded, his body was blasted over 5,000 kilometres away. Coincidentally, he ended up appearing before Chen Feng.

“Chance!”

Chen Feng’s eyes lit up. Without a word, he thrust his Heaven Piercing Lance into Immortal Monarch Starfire’s body while channelling the Heavengulping Absorption Technique to quickly devour his essence.

“You have a death wish!”

Immortal Monarch Starfire slapped Chen Feng away with a swipe of his hand. Then, turning around, he charged towards Chen Feng.

Chen Feng, on the other hand, smiled. Although it had only been a short time, he had managed to gain a lot from that attack. Even a strand of an Ascendant Immortal’s essence, energy and soul power was great enough that it would take Chen Feng some time to refine. It was a high-level item that could bring about a world-shaking transformation to Chen Feng’s strength.

Suddenly, a wooden staff emerged from the void to strike Immortal Monarch Starfire’s head. Heavenly Premier Absolute’s voice rang out. “You’re a dignified Ascendant Immortal, after all. Isn’t the act of attacking a Human Immortal too shameless?”

Immortal Monarch Starfire had to block the attack from Heavenly Premier Absolute, leaving him no time to attack Chen Feng.

As for Chen Feng, he did not make use of the opportunity to run away. Instead, he brandished the lance to charge forward once more. Next, sky-encompassing lance silhouettes thrust towards Immortal Monarch Starfire.

Chen Feng kept provoking Immortal Monarch Starfire, causing Immortal Monarch Starfire to become highly infuriated. Thus, he ended up losing his focus for a moment, allowing Heavenly Premier Absolute’s wooden staff to strike him, causing his figure to tumble about. Chen Feng then made use of the opportunity to charge forward and utilize the Heavengulping Absorption Technique to suck away some more of his essence, energy and soul power.

“This feels great!” Chen Feng laughed loudly.

Hearing that, the Four Heavenly Premiers laughed as well. The Wicked Barbarian Deity, on the other hand, muttered, “Idiot!”

Immortal Monarch Starfire’s face turned livid and he said nothing. He also stopped throwing a fit. Instead, he grew increasingly calm.

A sense of foreboding surged into Chen Feng’s heart. Just as he was about to back away, flames spread out before him, transforming from a spark into a massive wildfire. Ferocious heat waves enveloped Chen Feng, who did not have enough time to think before putting up the Heaven Piercing Lance to block it.

Boom!

An unstoppable force made its way through the Heaven Piercing Lance to assail Chen Feng. Realizing that he would be incapable of blocking this power, Chen Feng linked up to the Longevity Tower. Instantly, the Longevity Tower pulsed to send an endless stream of formidable power into Chen Feng’s body. At the same time, the 100,000 great arrays within the Longevity Tower began activating.

The Longevity Tower’s power alone was insufficient. However, the Longevity Tower was also able to utilize the power of the other Immortal artefact, the Netherbone Lance.

As a result, despite receiving considerable injuries on his end, Chen Feng successfully blocked the attack from Immortal Monarch Starfire.

“What?”

Immortal Monarch Starfire was not the only one who was shocked. Even the other Ascendant Immortals who were in the midst of fighting the Wicked Barbarian Deity were astounded. Likewise, the Wicked Barbarian Deity was also staring with a look of shock.

Although Chen Feng was wielding an Immortal artefact, he was just a Human Immortal in the end. And yet, he was able to block an attack from an Ascendant Immortal. This was simply unbelievable.

There is something peculiar about the kid. There is likely something else going on here. If there is an opportunity, I must capture him and investigate this, the Wicked Barbarian Deity thought.

“Absolute, an amazing student has emerged from your academy. However, an outstanding tree can be destroyed by a storm. This kid’s performance is too dazzling,” Heavenly Premier Eternal said.

“Too dazzling? Ha ha ha ha! Did you forget our younger days? Which of us aren’t Heavenly figures? This kid is a talent. He has potential. If there is a chance, I will have to nurture him properly.” Heavenly Premier Absolute laughed loudly.

As Immortal Monarch Starfire was still stunned, Heavenly Premier Absolute’s wooden staff swung over to strike him and send him tumbling once again.
