The Wicked Barbarian Deity is truly formidable. Thankfully, he is still wounded, otherwise he could have killed off Immortal Monarch Starfire with just one punch. Even so, it would appear that Immortal Monarch Starfire will not be able to endure for long. By then, Chen Feng had seated himself on the ground, the Heaven Piercing Lance in his hand as he channelled its power to help him observe the battle deep within the layer of ice.

A layer of ice, spanning a radius of at least 500 kilometres, burst upwards before exploding into pieces with a booming sound. After that, all of them were evaporated.

Those were the shockwaves from the battle between Ascendant Immortals. As for Chen Feng, he had already flown high up into the sky, his pair of eyes still staring at the battle. Observing a battle between two high-level cultivators was greatly beneficial towards him. After spending all this time observing the battle, Chen Feng had already gained some insights, allowing him to resolve many of the cultivation issues he faced. If it weren’t for the fact that this was not the right time for it, Chen Feng would have wanted to start cultivating himself there.

That said, Chen Feng did put his mind in a state of cultivation. In the end, he could not stop the aura within his body from swelling upwards.

A layer of ice, spanning a radius of 5,000 kilometres, shook as the Wicked Barbarian Deity sent Immortal Monarch Starfire flying with a punch. He then smirked and said, “A minor Ascendant Immortal from the Skyfire Clan could actually stop my attacks for so long. You have quite some skills. Well, then. I will now be killing you off with one punch.”

Blood sprayed out from Immortal Monarch Starfire’s mouth again and again, the flaming forked spear in his hand flashing with bright light. It had nearly broken in the earlier confrontation. At that very moment, Immortal Monarch Starfire was secretly regretting it. If only he had known that this Wicked Barbarian Deity was so powerful, he would not have chosen to fight him head on.

The ancient barbarians were as formidable as cultivators from the Skyfire Clan. Not to mention, this Wicked Barbarian Deity had a higher cultivation base.

Seeing the Wicked Barbarian Deity preparing to punch him, Immortal Monarch Starfire roared and charged straight towards the Immortal Warsoul Palace. Knowing that he could not escape from the Wicked Barbarian Deity, he decided to put it all on the line.

“You’re courting death!” Seeing that, the Wicked Barbarian Deity wanted to charged forward to intercept him.

Suddenly, a sword light descended from the sky, piercing Immortal Monarch Starfire and nailing him to the surface of the ice.

“What?” It wasn’t just Chen Feng, even the Wicked Barbarian Deity was somewhat surprised. At the same time, the Wicked Barbarian Deity grew infuriated. Next, he fired out a punch skywards, breaking the firmament apart and causing Planet Voidsoul to shake.

A cultivator in white, fluttering clothes appeared, his facial features blurry to the eyes. Every move he made would give off the disposition of a scholar. His eyes shone like the stars, giving off the aura of wisdom.

This newcomer beckoned and the sword piercing Immortal Monarch Starfire’s body transformed into a stream of light before flying back to his hand. Next, his entire body shook as he seemingly became a sky-surging sword, radiating the aura of a sword immortal capable of roaming unimpeded through the world.

Another Ascendant Immortal has come. Heh! With this, it seems this planet will be blown apart. Chen Feng chuckled.

The earlier situation had been somewhat skewed. If Immortal Monarch Starfire had been killed off, the Wicked Barbarian Deity would be the only one left. Given Chen Feng’s present level of strength, he was no match for the Wicked Barbarian Deity. Chen Feng would rather face Immortal Monarch Starfire than face the Wicked Barbarian Deity. At any rate, Immortal Monarch Starfire was only a starter-level Ascendant Immortal. Moreover, Chen Feng also knew quite a bit about the Skyfire Clan. The Wicked Barbarian Deity at the mid-level Ascendant Immortal stage, on the other hand, was not someone that Chen Feng could face, not even with all of his power.

“Another sword immortal.” The wild aura radiating out from the Wicked Barbarian Deity retracted as he regarded the newcomer with caution. The offensive techniques of sword immortals were the strongest amongst all the cultivation techniques. Although this newcomer was only a starter-level Ascendant Immortal, he was a notch stronger compared to the cultivator from the Skyfire Clan. At the very least, the newcomer was giving the Wicked Barbarian Deity a sense of danger.

“Who are you? You dare attack me? Do you have any idea who I am? You are bringing ruination down upon your sect and family!” Immortal Monarch Starfire’s face had turned red and flames burned fiercely across his body. The wound created from the sword earlier had already healed up. However, healing the wound had consumed a great deal of his essence power.

Given his present state, Immortal Monarch Starfire was likely incapable of exchanging too many blows with the Wicked Barbarian Deity. Rather, the Wicked Barbarian Deity might actually be able to send him flying with just one punch.

Having suffered from the sneak attack, Immortal Monarch Starfire felt highly enraged. However, he was already in a weakened state. Thus, all he could do was to shout out his background to deter this opponent.

There were, after all, not many forces capable of offending the Skyfire Clan in the universe, not even the Immortal Plane. The Celestial Planes were existences above the Immortal Plane, capable of easily conquering a star region.

“I don’t care who you are. Right now, you are making a ruckus in my territory. It is only natural for me to kill you,” the sword immortal said coolly, the semi-transparent silhouette of a sword swirling within his pupils.

“An Ascendant Immortal. And yet, you have yet to ascend. There is the aura of Eternal World on you. You must be from the Four Great Academies, right?” the Wicked Barbarian Deity suddenly said.

Hearing that, the sword immortal grew shocked. Unexpectedly, this Wicked Barbarian Deity was so formidable. He could identify his state with just a glance.

“So, you are an aborigine of Eternal World. You don’t know the meaning of death! All I need to do is to report this to my clan and your Eternal World will be destroyed!” Immortal Monarch Starfire said with a scoff.

“What boastful words! I would like to see how you plan on destroying our Eternal World!” Another cultivator arrived. Likewise, he was also an Ascendant Immortal.

He had the appearance of a middle-aged man. Wielding a wooden staff in hand, he stepped out through the void to appear before them all. He sported a high coronet while wearing an armour that shone with starlight. His aura was in no way inferior compared to the sword immortal.

“Absolute, you’re here.” The sword immortal greeted the newcomer.

“Ha ha ha! Four Cardinals, you sure are fast. Looks like you would have lost if I didn’t come.” The middle-aged cultivator who was addressed as Absolute laughed.

“These opponents are not to be trifled with. One is an ancient barbarian deity and the other one seems like he is from a special clan. However, there is also a little fellow there. He looks to be a student from your Absolute Academy,” the sword immortal, Four Cardinals, said. In the end, he turned his gaze towards Chen Feng.

Absolute, Four Cardinals. Interesting. Looks like they must be the founders of Absolute Academy and Four Cardinal Academy. However, why didn’t they ascend even though they have already reached the Ascendant Immortal stage? Chen Feng thought.

Hearing Heavenly Premier Four Cardinals’ words, Heavenly Premier Absolute turned to look at Chen Feng. First noticing the lance in Chen Feng’s hand, his eyes lit up and he blurted out, “Immortal artefact!”

“Greetings, dean.” Chen Feng moved over and saluted.

“No need for formalities. Right now, I am not the dean of Absolute Academy. Little fellow, not bad. Not bad indeed.” Heavenly Premier Absolute regarded Chen Feng from head to toe a few times before nodding his head. “Unexpectedly, my Absolute Academy could come up with such a character. Four Cardinals, does your Four Cardinals Academy have such a kind of student?”

Looking at the smug look on Heavenly Premier Absolute’s face, Heavenly Premier Four Cardinals answered indifferently, “There should be.”

“Heh!” Heavenly Premier Absolute pursed his lips to the side, not saying anything else. Next, he turned to ask Chen Feng, “Little fellow, what is your name?”

“Student’s name is Chen Feng. Greetings, seniors!” Chen Feng said loudly.

“Not bad! Not bad!” Since finding out that Chen Feng was a student of Absolute Academy, Heavenly Premier Absolute had grown increasingly fond of Chen Feng. In the end, his eyes turned bright.

“Looks like you two are looking down on me.” No longer capable of holding himself back, the Wicked Barbarian Deity spoke up.

“We wouldn’t dare. Sir Barbarian Deity is a senior. May we ask why you chose to come here? Planet Voidsoul is a place that our Four Great Academies jointly opened up, specifically for training our students. A small place like this should not have attracted the attention of a mid-level Ascendant Immortal,” Heavenly Premier Absolute said smilingly.

“You’re blatantly spouting nonsense here. It’s simple. As long as you allow me to take this palace, I will leave this planet. If we start a fight, this planet will likely be destroyed,” the Wicked Barbarian Deity said, snickering.

“Everything here is part of Planet Voidsoul,” Heavenly Premier Four Cardinals said.

“In other words, we are unable to come to an agreement.”

“Of course not. Destroy Planet Voidsoul? We’ll just open up a new one. You want to snatch something from us beneath our very noses? Get ready to fight for it!” Heavenly Premier Absolute said, raising the wooden staff in his hand. The top of the wooden staff was perfectly round and it shone with light. It did not appear particularly striking. However, the aura that it radiated revealed that it was an Immortal artefact.

“Just a few minor aborigines. Wicked Barbarian Deity, let’s put our differences aside for now. We’ll kill off these two aborigines first,” Immortal Monarch Starfire said. The flames enveloping his figure continued burning and his aura gradually stabilized.

That must be the secret technique of the Skyfire Clan. By the way, this fellow sure is unlucky. Chen Feng thought, incapable of stopping himself from smiling.

“Old man, are you still not going to return to the Celestial Skyfire Plane? Why are you still sticking around? The way I see it, it would be better for you to just hurry up and run away. Dying here would be a serious loss.” Chen Feng pointed at Immortal Monarch Starfire and laughed, ignoring the fact that he was an Ascendant Immortal.

“Well said!”

Two more cultivators descended from the sky, the formidable aura they brought with them rushing towards Immortal Monarch Starfire and the Wicked Barbarian Deity. Energy waves surged forward, seemingly capable of laying waste to everything in their path.

“You have a death wish!”

Immortal Monarch Starfire was infuriated to the extreme. He was a cultivator from the Skyfire Clan and an Ascendant Immortal to boot. When had he ever had to face such a humiliation? Unexpectedly, these minor aborigines would look down on him.

After this matter is resolved, I must mobilize a force to destroy Eternal World! Immortal Monarch Starfire vehemently thought to himself.

“Heavensight, Eternal, you fellows are here too,” Heavenly Premier Absolute said smilingly.

The two newcomers, one male and one female, were Heavenly Premier Eternal and Heavenly Premier Heavensight. Likewise, they were also Ascendant Immortals. Naturally, they were the founders of Eternal Academy and Heavensight Academy respectively.

The founders of the Four Great Holylands have gathered together. Sensing the impactful aura of the four Ascendant Immortals left Chen Feng speechless.

This is just a random training session. Unexpectedly, I would end up encountering these four bigshots. When the fight erupts later on, I must move farther away from them. Looks like Planet Voidsoul is a goner. However, there is something I need inside this palace. How do I go about getting it? Chen Feng’s eyes kept shining.

“I had long since divined that a great treasure would emerge here. That’s why I came back from space a hundred years ago.” Heavenly Premier Eternal was a cultivator with an unwavering face. He was also the strongest amongst the four of them.

“There are only two opponents. This should be easy to handle.” Although Heavenly Premier Heavensight was a female cultivator, the domineering aura she exuded was in no way inferior compared to the other three.
