“Although Senior Brother Tie was wounded in the end, we managed to gain a considerable harvest. This many Immortal crystals will be enough for our cultivation needs for quite some time,” Feng Jian said.

“Yes. Unexpectedly, I would be able to get a million Immortal crystals. These are Immortal crystals we’re talking about here. Normally, whenever I link up to the Immortal Plane, the immortal energy I absorbed would be insufficient for my cultivation needs. Due to that, I had to use Sacred crystals, causing my cultivation rate to become slow. Now that I have these Immortal crystals, my cultivation level will surely rise up quickly,” Hu Xian’er said happily.

“Junior Brother Chen, why did you choose the branch instead of Immortal crystals?” Lan Ling cast a puzzled look at Chen Feng.

When they were dividing the items earlier, Chen Feng had chosen not to take the Immortal crystals. Instead, he chose a fiery-red branch. The power of fire flowed within it and it seemed as though the branch itself was made from fire.

Although they could see that the power of fire within it was strong, they did not think that it was as valuable as the Immortal crystals.

Due to that, he was able to realize that this branch was from the Skyfire Clan’s Divine Skyfire Tree. It was on the same level as the Longevity Clan’s Longevity Tree. Those trees were the roots and foundation of the various clans.

In other words, the value of this branch was similar to that of a branch from the Longevity Tree.

“This branch came from the Skyfire Tree. It is a good item! No matter how many Immortal crystals you may have, you will not be able to buy this thing,” Chen Feng said smilingly.

Hearing that, they shook their heads. It didn’t matter if Chen Feng was telling the truth or not. For them, what they needed most were Immortal crystals, not a tree branch of unknown origin and functions.

I suggest that we either leave this grotto-mansion or return to Eternal World. Or, do you want to take a gamble and go search for his other grotto-mansions?”

Some encountered monsters, dangerous terrain and some encountered the hostile cultivators from the other Holylands.

Ten days quickly went by and they finally received a summon from Chen Xing’er.

By using their Sensor Talismans, they were able to quickly find Chen Xing’er. She was hiding at the bottom of a remote valley. Contrary to what they were expecting, there were no fights around her.

“Hide your auras!” Chen Xing’er hastily sent them a secret vocal transmission.

Shocked, they quickly hid their auras as they cast puzzled looks at Chen Xing’er.

“What is it? Did you find the grotto-mansion?”

“I didn’t find the grotto-mansion. However, I saw something peculiar. Look there.”

Following Chen Xing’er’s finger, they quickly saw a bunch of human figures standing not far away.

The reason they regarded them as human figures was because these fellows were very different from the cultivators that they would usually encounter.

Their number was quite high, at least 100 of them. Some were wearing animal hides and some chose to go bare-chested. Some were skinny while some were highly muscular. And yet, every single one of them radiated formidable power.

At first glance, Lan Ling’s group had assumed that they were a bunch of barbarians worshipping some holy object.

The worshipping process was very convoluted and there was no way to tell which Demon God they were worshipping. However, their sacrifices were rather unusual. The sacrifices were actually the students from the Holylands who had come to this planet for training.

There were students from all four of the Holylands there. All of them were bound using a special technique, their cultivation bases sealed. Additionally, there were also people posted to specifically keep watch over them, making escape an impossibility.

A strange language could be heard as the worshipping ceremony entered its next stage and one student after another was killed. Their essence, energy and soul power surged out to fall upon the altar, releasing roars and sounds of struggling as they did. However, they could not stop themselves from getting devoured.

Space trembled and a passageway appeared up in the sky. All of the essence, energy and soul power from the students entered the passageway before disappearing completely. It was as though there was a monster hiding on the other end of the passageway, devouring them all.

As for the remaining students, they cut quite the wretched sight. Tied up and incapable of making a single sound, they could only watch as terror descended upon them.

“What are they? They look like cultivators from Savage World.” Chen Feng and the others quickly discussed the issue.

“There are some differences here. They do not appear like cultivators from Savage World to me. The cultivators from Savage World cultivate savage power. Although they are sometimes barbaric, their techniques have an upright atmosphere. It is unlike the atmosphere of evil that these fellows are exuding.”

Chen Xing’er smiled. It was a very strange smile. As they felt a chill running down their spines, Chen Xing’er swiftly attacked, utilizing a special technique to restrain Lan Ling, Feng Jian and Hu Xian’er. Next, she grasped to bring all three with her as she headed to the altar.

“Xing’er, what is wrong with you?” Hu Xian’er shouted.

“She’s not Xing’er. Look there!” said Lan Ling, who was beside Hu Xian’er.

Somewhere not far away from them was another Chen Xing’er, bound and kneeling on the ground. She was looking at them with a look of apprehension.

“Two Xing’ers? But they are identical! How?”

“Only one of them is the real one. The one who captured us must definitely be a fake.”

“Yes, I am a fake.” The Chen Xing’er who captured them snickered. Her voice had changed. Next, energy streams flowed around her and her appearance changed to that of a completely different female cultivator.

This female cultivator was both tall and muscular. She exuded a slightly heroic atmosphere. However, judging by the clothes she wore, Lan Ling and the others could tell that she was a companion of the hundred plus cultivators there.

“Who are you?” Feng Jian shouted.
