After entering the Human Immortal stage, many of the Longevity Scripture’s secret techniques that Chen Feng cultivated had grown stronger, much stronger. Additionally, many of the secret techniques that Chen Feng had been incapable of practicing in the past were now open to him.

Moreover, upon entering the Human Immortal stage, his Longevity acupoint had instantly doubled in size. Putting aside the increase in its space and power, it had also established a faint link with the Celestial Longevity Plane. Due to that, an energy – unique compared to the energy from the Immortal Plane – flowed into Chen Feng’s body.

Chen Feng was aware that this was the power from the Celestial Longevity Plane. It was more special and of a higher grade compared to the one from the Immortal Plane.

Strands of power from the Celestial Longevity Plane entered Chen Feng’s Longevity acupoint to trigger an earth-shaking change to his body.

This change was well within Chen Feng’s expectations. If he hadn’t recovered his memories, he would probably have become shocked by the change and asked Tower about it. However, things were different now. He already possessed a deep understanding towards the Celestial Longevity Plane.

As a member of the Longevity Clan, Chen Feng possessed an exceptional identity even amongst all the others from the Celestial Longevity Plane. There were legacies contained within the depths of his soul and genes; he had been blessed with exceptional advantages since young. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the six-year-old Chen Feng from back then knew even more about certain aspects of cultivation when compared to Earthen Immortals from the Celestial Planes. In fact, even some Ascendant Immortals would be incapable of comparing to him in those regards. However, due to an unexpected incident, he ended up drifting through space for one million years. He lost his cultivation base and his spiritual root was damaged. Even his memories were sealed up.

At that very moment, however, Chen Feng had recovered his memories. Although his spiritual root remained damaged, the knowledge within his mind and the legacies within his genes had returned.

Chen Feng was well aware of the changes happening to his body. Thus, he channelled his power to create an even greater link between his Longevity acupoint and the Celestial Longevity Plane. Next, a wondrous wave of energy fluctuations spread through every part of Chen Feng’s body, causing him to feel lighter. Chen Feng knew that it was due to the disappearance of the shackles imposed upon him by Eternal World. If he so desired, he would have no problems ascending to the Immortal Plane. Naturally, the link between his Longevity acupoint and the Celestial Longevity Plane meant that Chen Feng could also enter the Celestial Longevity Plane and return to the Longevity Clan.

However, Chen Feng was also aware that he could not do that. Given his present level of strength, if he were to appear there, he would surely be faced with a wretched ending. The Longevity Tower would be snatched away. Although it was the forces from the other Celestial Planes that had battered the Longevity Tower in the past, the Celestial Longevity Plane itself was likely not in a stable state at the moment.

In the end, it all boiled down to the good old saying, power takes precedence, even amongst members of your own clan.

In order to safely return to the Celestial Longevity Plane, his cultivation base must at least be above the Ascendant Immortal stage. Additionally, the Longevity Tower must at least be at the Immortal artefact tier.

However, that was not something that could be done quickly. Additionally, who knows just how many unexpected incidents would happen along the way?

As the power from the Celestial Longevity Plane continued flowing over, Chen Feng’s sea of wisdom began churning violently and his Lifebound Flame began transforming into Primary Lifebound Flame. Upon successfully completing that transformation process, his soul power would advance by another level.

His blood kept flowing and various profound and mystical runes flashed from within his blood, causing his fleshly body to shine with a brilliant light, akin to a unique piece of jade.

Those were the legacies hidden within his genes. In the past, they had been hidden. Only now, after Chen Feng had linked up with the Celestial Longevity Plane, did they begin to reveal their might.

After just two breaths’ worth of time, Chen Feng could feel his soul power rising up by two notches. Even his fleshly body was several times stronger than before.

The great improvement in his strength caused Chen Feng to tremble with excitement.

The Longevity weapons within the Longevity acupoint were at the fore of the world-shaking change. The power from the Celestial Longevity Plane poured into the acupoint and tempered them all. Due to that, the weapons underwent a levelling up process.

Due to Chen Feng’s tempering and refining efforts, the Longevity weapons had already become grade 2 Sacred artefacts. However, for Chen Feng, they were still not too useful.

At that very moment, however, the longevity power flowing in was causing the Longevity weapons to level up again and again.

Grade 3 Sacred artefacts.

Grade 5 Sacred artefacts.

Despite having prepared himself for it, seeing the rate at which the weapons were levelling up shocked Chen Feng.

The longevity power within the Longevity acupoint churned and even Chen Feng’s essence, energy and soul power began condensing into streams before flowing into the Longevity acupoint.

Even after reaching grade 5 of the Sacred tier, the weapons did not stop levelling up. Instead, they continued, charging all the way up to grade 8 of the Sacred tier before stopping.

A rise from grade 2 of the Sacred tier to grade 8 of the Sacred tier. Not to mention, all 33 Longevity weapons had levelled up at the same time. Such a speed was rare even for the cultivators cultivating in the Celestial Longevity Plane.

Next, Chen Feng took a step forward and his whole figure kept flashing about. The faint image of his figure would disappear every now and again, seemingly jumping through the void to affect time itself.

Chen Feng had comprehended a total of four moves from the Longevity Steps.

In addition to the Longevity Steps and Great Longevity Palm, there are also the Longevity Finger, Longevity Wings, Primary Self Anchoring Mantra, Longevity Dimension and some other secret techniques in the Longevity Scripture that I can now cultivate. However, I would likely have no time to go about doing that any time soon. Just the amount of gains I obtained from this will take quite some time to digest.

During the three years, Bi Shuidie had come once to visit Chen Feng. When she saw Chen Feng, she grew shocked. She could determine that Chen Feng was a starter-level Human Immortal. And yet, she felt as though she was facing an insurmountable mountain, incomparable in its majesty.

I already knew that this fellow is not some average fellow. However, it would appear that I had still underestimated him, Bi Shuidie thought.

Although it was just an ordinary visit, Chen Feng brought out various types of spiritual fruits to treat her. Chen Feng’s wealth caused Bi Shuidie to secretly feel astonished. All else aside, just the Domain Fruits were already something else. It was something that Bi Shuidie had only just seen before and never gotten the chance to eat.

After returning to her grotto-mansion, Bi Shuidie’s wariness towards Chen Feng was lowered considerably. Sensing that, Bi Shuidie felt surprised. At the same time, she also panicked somewhat.

Given my current state, advancing to the mid-level Human Immortal stage is already in the bag. Chen Feng was aware of his own cultivation state. However, after considering it for a moment, he decided to continue suppressing his aura for a while longer.

When Lan Ling came to visit Chen Feng, she ended up staring blankly at Chen Feng. She grew so shocked, she became at a loss for words.

“What is it? Are there flowers on my face?” Chen Feng said smilingly.

Hearing that, Lan Ling blushed. “Chen Feng, the aura coming off you feels somewhat, amiss.”

Amiss. That was the only word Lan Ling could come up with to describe it. At that very moment, Lan Ling was simply incapable of getting a good look at Chen Feng’s state.

Fleeting, yet real. Chen Feng had seemingly detached himself from this world to enter another layer of space.

That was Lan Ling’s impression of Chen Feng.

“It’s just the result of me comprehending a spatial technique,” Chen Feng said with a chuckle.

“By the way, Senior Sister Lan, I believe there must be a reason behind your visit, no?”

“Naturally. In one month, we plan on heading out for an adventure. Are you interested?” Lan Ling said smilingly.

“Adventure. Where?”

“Planet Voidsoul.”

“That place? That is a dangerous place.” Chen Feng laughed.

“Only where there are dangers will there be gains. How about it? Are you interested in joining us?”

“I’ll join.”

He had been spending a few years cultivating himself. Since he had already stabilized his cultivation base, it was time for him to head out for an adventure.

Planet Voidsoul was not located near Eternal World. Thus, even Earthen Immortals who were capable of surviving the harshness of space exploration would require some time to get to Planet Voidsoul.

Naturally, Chen Feng and the others would not be travelling there through space. Instead, they would be utilizing a teleportation array.

The teleportation array for that was very ancient and there was no way to know when it was built. It was managed by the Four Great Holylands. Naturally, only the students from the Four Great Holylands would be able to explore the place and train themselves there.

Bluntly speaking, Planet Voidsoul was a training ground used by the Four Great Holylands to – despite the dangers there – train their students.

The team headed for Planet Voidsoul consisted of six people. The six were Lan Ling, Tie Yuan, Feng Jian, Hu Xian’er, Chen Xing’er and Chen Feng.

Upon activation, the teleportation array teleported the six of them off. The teleportation process was very fast and it took them only a few breaths’ worth of time to arrive at Planet Voidsoul.

After landing, they sensed the unique aura and power of this other life-bearing planet. This was their first time here. Due to that, they felt somewhat curious and they looked around while secretly adjusting their cultivation bases.

“Although Planet Voidsoul is very dangerous, there is something even more dangerous than Planet Voidsoul,” Lan Ling then spoke up.

“It’s the other cultivators who came to Planet Voidsoul,” Chen Feng said smilingly.

“Yes. Many students from the Four Great Holylands would come here for an adventure. As everyone is a genius amongst geniuses, the elite amongst elites, it is only normal for conflicts to arise.”

“Truth be told, many would often prey on one another.”

“At any rate, everyone should exercise caution. It would be best for us to not split up.”

Suddenly, several cultivators riding on a large bird flew over them, causing strong winds to blow towards them.

“Humph!” Feng Jian took action to unravel the strong winds blowing at them. Before they could counter attack, though, the large bird had already disappeared.

“They are students from Heavensight Academy. They are not as strong as us. They were lucky to be able to run away so quickly, otherwise they would be in for a world of hurt,” Tie Yuan said angrily.

“Well have plenty of opportunities for that,” Chen Feng said coolly. With a wave of his hand, the Longevity Lance flew forward to thrust into the ground. Next, the grounds shook and soil burst upwards as a 100-zhang-long earthen wyrm emerged from the ground. The Longevity Lance that Chen Feng fired out earlier had firmly pierced its tail.

“That’s a starter-level Yao King! Unexpectedly, it was hiding underground. We had actually failed to notice it,” said Tie Yuan, who then attacked it.

All of them attacked. Although the Yao King was very powerful, in the face of the team’s combined siege, it could not endure for long before falling.

“Senior Brother Chen, how did you notice that there was an earthen wyrm underground?” Hu Xing’er squeezed herself beside Chen Feng and she cast a passionate look at him. Chen Feng aside, even the others found it hard to stand the sight of what she was doing.
