Ferguillo suddenly stopped his steps while traveling through a plain in the Kingdom of Eiche. He turned to Liszt’s team behind him and said, “It’s begun.”
“Already?”
Liszt held his breath and his lazy expression instantly vanished.
Ferguillo took a deep breath and spoke, “Yes, I can sense the Evil Dragon’s aura, and it’s very powerful.”
Even to him, a numbing sensation spread in his heart after sensing the Evil Dragon’s aura after breaking through.
The final war finally arrived.
Whoosh!
Two light pillars surged out from Liszt and Rui simultaneously and joined up in the sky. Then, they turned into several light sigils and dissolved in the air.
Boom!
At almost the same time, a ring of light showered down from where the light sigils dissolved. Ferguillo and Liszt’s team immediately flew towards that ring of light.
The ring of light disappeared after a flash.
Whoosh! Whoosh!...

Politics, war, looming apocalypse, a tiny dash of kingdom building, and a minor bit of crafting. There is a bit of a progression element as well as both environmental and cultural exploration. The story follows two youths more directly influenced by aforementioned Elder beings than most. Neither lead cares for politics but certain situations force them into participating, forcing them to make decisions that shape their morality. Initially, the focus is on the male lead as he comes of age in an environment with little scope to change his future, only to be thrust into new circumstances that permanently kill some of his hopes. 3k words every chapter
