"Is that so? Too bad you no longer have a chance to display your full speed," said Lady Shura. With her eyes narrowed, she attacked. Her cultivation level of ninth-stage Skysoar Realm erupted as she sent a barrage of palm attacks toward Xiang Shaoyun.

Formless Palm!

The palm attacks dotted the sky and flooded the area with a thick vicious gold energy that surrounded Xiang Shaoyun from all directions. Each palm was comparable to the attack of a peak King. It was not an attack one could easily stop.

A faint smile formed on Xiang Shaoyun's face as he sent numerous golden fists forward, trying to blast the palms into smithereens. Additionally, the palms seemed to possess life, as they could freely move around in accordance to Xiang Shaoyun's movement. It did not seem like they would stop before they completely subdued him. When he saw that there was no way of escaping the palms, he decided to not even bother with escaping.

Perfect defensive walls of the Iron Wall and Copper Wall stages appeared around him. Evidently, he had mastered the second stage of the Six Goldplate Manual. He only needed the final two walls before he could complete the Goldplate stage. These four walls were more than enough to block the attack of an Emperor. Lady Shura blanked out slightly before she quickly dashed over. "Xiang Shaoyun, a-are you fine?"

She had sent out the palm attack without holding anything back. If she had carelessly killed Xiang Shaoyun, she wouldn't know what to do.

Lying on the ground, Xiang Shaoyun coughed blood as he said weakly, "I'm a-afraid...I w-won't make it!"

"N-no way! I still have some millennium king spring here! Take it! You can't die!" Lady Shura said anxiously.

As she said that, she took her millennium king spring out and tried to feed it to Xiang Shaoyun. To her surprise, he grabbed her hand with one hand and placed his other hand on her neck and dragged her head down. At the same time, he lifted his head. Two pairs of lips met.
