Lan Jue’s chest tightened. It was harder to breathe. This must be when she first found out her sister had died.

This was my first-ever-novel and my first gamelit story (though I had no idea that was a thing/genre at the time). This novel contains a lot of violence and blood and can be uncomfortable to read for some people. There is also some violence from, and off-screen violence to, children.
