Intense fluctuations of devilishness rolled out from inside the lamp. In response, Yang Qi shouted, “God Legion Seal; Devil Lamp Suppression; End in Mutual Destruction; Hero’s Last Stand!”
Surging godpower erupted from the God Legion Seal and smashed into the lamp, causing an actual image of the Lord of Radiance and Light to appear, his palms clasped together as if in prayer. Instantly, the lamp began burning brighter than ever, provoking a howl of rage from the Second Devil General. “Stop it, boy! Stop! Otherwise I’ll burn away half my cultivation base to break out of here and kill you!”
“Stop it with the bullshit,” Yang Qi replied. “You’re not even at full power right now. If I didn’t have the God Legion Seal, you could probably break free, devour the Everlit Godlamp, and become completely invincible in the dao of devils. But right now, I have the seal to suppress you and add to the power of the lamp. So you can't do anything to me.”

Bloodlines
Bloodlines is the first major story set in the far larger and immensely connected universe known as Infinitum. But in the bigger picture, Bloodlines is one of many stories set in Cosmere-like universe where plots stretch beyond planets and star systems and stakes are higher than godhood (like in Malazan chronicles). Currently, I am planning to finish the first arc [Bandit Arc], add 10k words interlude with some revelations, then publish a story happening elsewhere. Then I will be back to write the second arc. It’s about what happens when incompatible viewpoints are weaponised to seed discontent, and the efforts of some to create a fairer world. In the tradition of the best science fiction, fantasy and crime fiction, I’m using the setting to examine themes that matter to me in the real world. Who is it for?If you like science fiction or fantasy, or a mix of both, this is for you. It’s my first foray into crime fiction, but I hope if you’re a fan that you’ll enjoy yourself - especially if you’re looking for something a bit different. I write fiction that is optimistic, progressive and empathetic. Bad things can happen to good people in the stories, but the overall arc tends to be hopeful. Note that if it were a movie, Tales from the Triverse would be a 15 certificate in the UK.
