Yang Qi unleashed godly might, cutting down a Godmyth and forcing Young Lady Green Blaze to acknowledge allegiance. He then forced his faith into the souls of the other two Godmyths. In the past he had used a similar technique using devil seeds, but this was something far superior. And it was such a subtle thing that no casual observer would ever realize what had happened to them.
Eventually, the light of faith faded away. Now that Young Lady Green Blaze had been subjugated, she became much more docile. Flopping onto her knees, she said, “Oh exalted lord, your slave servant offers greetings!”
“Excellent!” Yang Qi said, nodding. “You may leave now. If you have anything to report, do so via your soul. And avoid meeting personally with Young Master Leaf as best as possible. He’s mysterious and unpredictable, and if he realized what happened to you and these two Godmyths it could turn bad very quickly. Be very careful. Understand?”
“Yes, Milord!”
The three of them all kowtowed, then rose to their feet and flew away.

Sure enough, they had gone above and beyond the requirements, but nobody had been watching. 'Why might that be?', that one wondered. Protocol was protocol, though, no matter how strange the situation was. They pulled the lever, they flipped the switch. It's time for New Game +. ??? How to Raise Your Dungeon
A dungeon core awakens for the first time. It knows nothing, it has nothing, but it can hear something. Voices, whispering, talking, and sharing. For now, they are distant. But it believes, if it proves itself, they may provide it with wisdom and direction. And so its slow but steady growth begins. Polls will come when the dungeon specifically wants to choose between a number of options, and believes it will receive an answer. However, it will "hear" any comments made on the most recent chapter, and these will shape its behaviour. It trusts you implicitely. This story is an exercise in stretching my creative muscles, so with each decision made, the options and opportunities open to the dungeon will change- some closing off forever. The dungeon will face threats periodically, and its fate in these encounters will be heavily influenced by your advice, though it will of course do its absolute best even without advice. It hardly wants to die. Heavily inspired by There Is No Epic Loot Here, Only Puns, though my approach to the concept is somewhat different from that work.

It is a world where a cherry red sky gazes down upon a fragmented continent, on which civilisations from other worlds have been dumped like refuse. The souls of man leak from their fingertips, coalescencing into superhuman powers and horrible fleshy monstrosities. Tribes of refugees clash against each other, attempting to carve out a place in this unrefined space. With no choice, Adam must traverse this dangerous new world, with Mary's shadow following him every step of the way. This is my entry to the April 2021 Writathon.
