After the two of them ate their candlelight dinner, Gu Rushan returned to her bedroom. When she returned, she was shocked that Su Tao did not use the master bedroom, but the guest room.

“Big Sister Shanshan, Mr. Deng, had asked me to give you a call to bring you back to the production team.” The assistant smiled bitterly.

Gu Rushan then hung up the phone first. When Su Tao listened to the tone, he smiled bitterly, “What a worrying woman.”

After Gu Rushan ended the call, she started packing her clothes. She previously brought thin clothes when the weather was getting cold. So Gu Rushan packed a few thicker clothes because she had to shoot outside. As the main actress, she had to ensure that she kept herself warm. After all, the shooting would be affected if she fell sick, and the director might use that as an excuse to harass her again.

Gu Rushan was now famous, and she had to ensure that she disguised herself when going out. She wore a mask, sunglasses, and a baseball cap. When she came out, her assistant was waiting downstairs. She immediately opened the door, “The air tickets are prepared, and the plane will take off half an hour from now. So we have to hurry up.”

Gu Rushan was surprised by the director’s words. She was expecting the director to yell at her, but what was going on? Was the director apologizing to her?

A few minutes later, she received a reply from Su Tao, “I gave a call to my friend and told him that my girl was being bullied. So I got him to teach some blind idiot a lesson. It looks like my friend is pretty efficient!”

“What girl?! Don’t put it that way!” Gu Rushan smiled. It was fine if a hoodlum spoke in this manner, but Su Tao was a renowned Divine Physician. She couldn’t imagine something like this coming from him.

Looking at the message, Gu Rushan suddenly felt her nose becoming sour with tears brimming in her eyes. She secretly wiped her eyes before giving her phone to her assistant.

The next scene was an emotional one, which Gu Rushan tried her best to recall how touched she was by Su Tao’s message and easily made it through.

Looking at Gu Rushan’s performance, the director was surprised and sighed inwardly. Not only did Gu Rushan had a terrifying backing, but her acting was professional. He could tell that Gu Rushan had limitless prospects, and it was wise if he didn’t provoke her.

Su Tao took the time to send Ye Sheng a message. He had gotten Ye Sheng’s help in this matter.

It would be faster if Su Tao let Ni Jingqiu know about it. But he felt that it was best if he avoided Ni Jingiqu about this matter.
